over the summer there's a 'hunt the owl sculpture' trail in town this year - they've done pigs and lions in previous years, but this time they've got a lot more sculptures to find, so it's proving a good reason to get into town without having to go shopping! ;)

That sounds so cool! I read about towns doing that in books, but never seen it done in real life. :) Not everyone loves shopping or can afford it much for that matter, so its always good to have low cost/free activities. :)

;) I redid that rough version of the shorts as full-length jeans, and that works a lot better, so I've cut it out from denim now :D And despite the pattern saying it needs 2 metres, I managed to squeeze it out of a metre (but the inner waistband will be cotton instead :P)

nods it's a good excuse to be around lots of other people too (that's something I don't do often enough) ;) I struggled to find one of the owls though - it's in a posh restaurant, so I asked whereabouts the owl was, and I still couldn't find it o.O 😊

hope it was a good walk :D I was having a ton of allergy problems in the last couple days and adding to my "fun" so I washed all my bedding. Here's hoping I'll feel better and have less allergy issues.

I think the hardest thing I find with the tourists in town in particular is when they're all talking in different languages - if they're all speaking English is isn't too terrible, but once you start hearing snatches of other languages, it just seems to make it all busier somehow o.O 😊

Yay fish tank cleaning. lol I went to the mall today. Got home with a bunch of clothes and Steam World Dig 2 for my switch. xD Adopted a new pet on here the other day. Found Cathrin in the pound, liked the name so I got her.

that could well be it - I mean I'm not intentionally trying to listen to what they're saying, but certain areas in the city tend to let voices carry quite a long way, so that makes it seem a lot more chaotic too. .... it's a bit of a crazy design for the city really :P laughs
