the expo itself had construction in the parking lot so that made it "fun" but thankfully we arrived so early we still got a good space both days. AND on Friday they were filming a movie with Danny Devito. They were asking people to be extras but I was too dead. I'm flat out. Hurt, tired and sick. I don't know what I have but I was feeling rather dizzy and faint near the end of our time at the expo today. I also had a "nice" accident where my water tipped over and pooled in my rolling bag. It was a nightmare. thankfully nothing was ruined and I dried the bag. Now, on to the expo:

So day one I took a card making class with flowers. It was really pretty. learned a new way for some 3D affects. Had a good time.
Then I went to do some shopping. I stopped when I only had $60 left LOL. I did win a prize in the shopping area for standing on the number they called. It was a $15 value. A halloween paper pack, a dog paper pack, brads and stickers and 4 sets of stamps :D My last class of Friday was the Latest and Greatest Stamping. They give out a bunch of things to each person so a $50 but get $80+ worth of things. We also do a project. The project was this adorable firefly jar card. We got the stamps to make it, glow in the dark embossing powder, spiffy paper, cute stickers and so much more.

Saturday: my first class was making 2 tags. One shaker tag and one wooden Then I went and finished shopping, had lunch and then the swimming pool in my bag clean up and last class.

last class was latest and greatest scrapbooking I changed mine up a little but that's the layout-ish We both won a prize in here of a paper pack with matching embellishments.

Okay what I bought, I bought some washi tape, Stary night dimaond painting leopard dimand pointing a peg board to make shapes out of wire (theres a demo video there), water colour pens, some several stamp sets including a really cute fairy one that was actually free for taking the class and embellishments. I think I did really well considering I had $140. I have so much to put away from both the shopping and the class. Soooo TIRED!!!

That seems crazy that they had construction work going on when they knew the expo would be busy, but at least you got a decent space :D oooo did you get to see any of the filming taking place? :D That sounds like my kind of luck with the water bottle (I'm going to make a waterproof pouch for mine I think - then if it spills, it shouldn't make anything else wet), but at least it didn't spoil anything!

ooo those projects all look awesome! Have you decided which of your new goodies to try out first? :D I love the look of those diamond paintings too, although I definitely wouldn't have the patience for those! :P

well its apparently a 5-7 year plan for this parking deck and some retail shops. The parking deck is needed for sure. I saw some crew and cheerleaders but nothing else, since I was too tired to try to see anything. lol thats a good idea. I have locking ones but thought the other one would be okay. I was wrong haha.

That fabric order I made over the weekend arrived today (the site is still showing it as "processing" so I didn't expect it to turn up today!) Mum's already eyeing up the pink waterproof coated cotton (the quilted effect is just a picture - it's actually smooth) which will eventually be a bag (the mesh style lining is hopefully going to work for the bag lining - I just need to get some interfacing to make it all nice and strong), the stars fabric is a brushed cotton which hopefully will make a shirt, the denim is nice and soft (I did wonder how stiff that'd be), and there's also some thermal wadding that should work really well for mug rugs :D They weren't joking when they said that fake fur was 'long pile' - they packed that in a separate bag so it didn't shed fluff over everything else :D

Aww, hope the migraine has went away. :huggles. My stopped by for dinner today and we had ice cream by the sea. which is like two miutes away from where I live lol was nice. :D
