laughs our council are a bit dumb when it comes to trying to stop the gulls nesting in the city centre - all they've done is mean the gulls nest a little further out from the centre, and fly back to the middle of the city each day for food :P

That makes sense. :) Wanted to let you know I am leaving for Crete/Greece on Sunday. Gonna be travelling with my dad and his wife; my brother, sis in law and their three kids ; my sis and her bf and two kids. lol So busy me wont be be around much. :) Hopefully I will be able to stop by and say hi. :)

I'd seen that the Red Arrows might fly over today, and shocked the neighbour when I yelled out of the window that they were about to fly over (I could see them across the valley, but she couldn't see them at that point) I did get some pics as they almost flew directly overhead, but those were out of focus 😊

the Red Arrows are kind of the UK equivalent to the US Blue Angels ;)

It's the first time I've seen them with the coloured smoke - normally they just fly over without using that ;) I thought you'd figure that out, but I wasn't too sure if you knew of the red arrows or not (kind of get used to talking about them over here, and everyone knows what they are) ;)

We saw some with coloured smoke in Cape Canaveral back in the 80s they did some stunts but I don't remember much of it to be honest haha.
I'm not familar with the Red angels but would've guessed they did the same thing ^.^

:P I think we possibly saw the red arrows when I was a similar age.... but I couldn't tell you much about it either laughs One year I'll get as far as being able to go to the air show on the coast & see them properly.... but that's not likely to happen for ages yet (it's 34 miles away, which is still too far for me to get to) :P

Well, you never know, it might come sooner rather than later. my mother likes to say you never know your luck till a dead horse kicks you. How that is indicative of luck I'd still like to know given that I wouldn't want to find a zombie horse let alone be kicked by one ;)

hehe you did a better job with it though ;) Thanks :D I wanted a nice seasidey look, seeing as we've got wall-to-wall sunshine forecast for the week, and they're saying it'll be 29C.... although it's still 28C out there at the moment, so it must have been hotter than that at midday :P is melting I went back to the allotment this afternoon to finish the jobs we started yesterday.... and of course I forgot to use suntan lotion first, so I've got sunburnt arms 😊

hehe I've got my mini fan on at the moment, and it's still too hot for me - I wouldn't be able to cope with the temperatures you have over there! :P

dunks my arms in the aloe I showered off with cool water when I got back in, just to try and calm my skin down a bit. But I get used to my hands feeling hot with the eczema anyway, so I guess this is much the same result :P
