I guess for me nice out is when the sun is out and its warm enough to go out without a jacket- or you just need a thin jacket. :) Hard to say a specific temp really. I hate overheating- dying warm. lol

Thanks :D I got the top & overalls this morning, so I had to play with them :D Thanks!! :D I was going to draw a superhero on the card, but I couldn't find which ones he likes the best (nor could I find an idiot's guide for drawing them :P), so I went with a dragon instead ;) I'm still surprised I found the shirt fabric so easily - normally I can never find dinosaur fabric anywhere, and this was only £3 a metre too (standard polycotton, so it's easy to wash too) ;) Sometimes it helps to take a break from one type of craft for a bit, especially if you've got other big projects on the go! Your wall painting looked fantastic :D What did your Mum say when she saw it?

It was the dark blue moon one ;) I wondered how it looked so different - I hadn't thought of it being candy dust and the fireflies!

just a regular single needle - whatever works best for the fabric you're sewing the buttons on to ;) The left side of the zigzag stitch goes in one hole of the button, and if you've got it lined up perfectly, the right side of the zigzag goes in the other hole ;) .... And if it's a 4-hole button, you just either do the same again for the bottom two holes, or do another stitch between the top left and bottom right hole (if that makes sense?)

to be honest, I normally hand crank the machine seeing as I know it would just try forcing the needle through anything - I think maybe next time I would hand sew shirt buttons on, just to be on the safe side laughs If you use a mechanical (not computerised) sewing machine, it would just stop if it hit the button, rather than trying to put more force to get the needle through the obstruction, so you need a bit less bravery ;)

you can do both with mine, but LOL I think I'll pass all the same :P

Polycotton blend is a really nice one to wash too and less wrinkle prone. :) OH! I didn't tell you how she received it? I am sorry! She got home and was super shocked but loved it immensely. She keeps telling me how much she loves it. I am really happy she loves it (so I don't have to re-do it!). :) I love how well the shirt and overalls work!

ooh have fun! I wrapped all mum's bday gifts today. Also drove to the UPS store to return something to Amazon, then drove to Petsmart and got two tins of food for Nigel. Then petco for two returns. Did laundry including my bed. (about 6 loads I think) I'm a bit knackard lmao. -pokes you-
