I do say so :P :P I've got K's hat finished, and the shirt is "almost" done - just the hems and buttons / buttonholes to go :D I'll hopefully get the hems done today, but I need to raid Mum's button tin to find some suitable ones. Not sure if I should do 5 sensible buttons, or 5 random coloured buttons seeing as the shirt has different coloured dinosaurs on it :P (keep reading)

I went with sensible buttons (Mum's button tin had 5 matching ones :P) and got K's shirt finished

All I need to do now is get it ready to be posted on Tuesday :D

I need to head to petco and return a seed ball that didn't grow (and looks like it has fungus on it.) they have a 30 day guartee and it's past that with no growth. I don't really have any other plans.

I picked out some plain(ish) buttons from Mum's button tin in the end - nearly broke two of them when the needle hit the button (that was with hand cranking the machine to sew the buttons on, as I didn't want to snap the needle!) 😊 but hopefully the buttons won't fall apart!

I've never machine sewn buttons on. Is it hard? Why thank you :D

it's simple as long as you get the holes lined up with the zigzag stitch laughs blush: Just use a transparent foot (if you have one - I used just the normal foot on my old machine before), set the zigzag to as short as possible, and the right width for the holes, then stitch! I should've put a pin under the middle of the button though, to give a bit more slack, but I'm hoping it'll ease up a bit with wear ;)

I have been thinking the same. We had such an unsual warm summer last year - that I kinda expect this one to be cold. lol

What temperature is it usually when you say it is nice out? For me it has to be so warm I don't need a jacket for it to be considered 'nice' out, but then again I am very partial to warm weather (but not over-heating-dying warm).

I love your HA today! Oh my gosh those are so amazing. The shirt turned out perfect as did the cute cute hat! That card is adorable too! :D You really did such an amazing job on these, I am impressed! I've not sewn anything since the winter time, I started doing other projects and I am not good at doing a ton of time consuming projects at once. So for right now I am doing wall painting and art. I am so impressed at that cute fabric too - I keep looking at it and feeling like I wish I had that fabric in a shirt!! LOL

Also, I'm not sure which one you meant - did you mean the BG I am wearing now or the dark blue-moon bg? For the later I was wearing the Morostide yellow candy dust foreground over the moon background and then the fireflies then the stencil cutout. :)
