it looked fantastic, as does today's almost monochrome look - there's just enough red to lift it :D :D That sounds much better than ours, although we never expected the badgers to try breaking in to start with. Mum filled the hole under the fence with some large rocks, and the badger just dug them out and tossed them over the neighbour's garden o.O When we had our new fence put in (on the other side of the garden), we had a badger hole pre-cut in it.... although that neighbour decided to block it up with rocks.... no idea why, seeing as the badger can get in under their back garden gate anyway o.O We don't tend to get feral cats around here, although there are quite a few pet cats in the neighbourhood, but that must be a nightmare with hawks! Thankfully the birds of prey around here aren't all that big, and mostly go after rodents or the occasional pigeon ;)

laughs all I know is that she's refusing to tell me :P :P oooo that's a great HA, although she must be somewhere that feels warmer than it does here today, to be on the beach! ;)

Nice to have in for times you need to dress up. :) I got a new jacket today- and a few jumpers. The jumpers were only about 5 pounds :) So not bad at all! The jacket was on sale too, of course. :P

It's odd that your neighbor filled the badger hole with rocks... especially if there is another way for it to get in already. o.O One lady that lives behind us has around 10 outdoor cats, and feeds more ferals, and they are a real problem. They kill a lot of young songbirds (I'm always heartbroken to find them in my yard), harass my chickens, poop in peoples' gardens, and one of them even bit the neighbor's toddler. :( I am glad that you don't have as many problems with birds of prey in your area, though! We have the coop all closed in, and I'm always out with the chickens when they are foraging, so luckily the hawks tend to stay away. ;) We did have one eying up our bird feeder last year. That's not the kind of bird feeding I was expecting to be doing when I put up the feeder. 😂

Yep or even have to have glasses again. Though if it does lower how blind you are with glasses off then I guess that could be a help. yes lol i demand it :P noo idea. I callled it a dragon. hey i don't mind a smidge here or there :P

It was bad enough when we had a Sparrowhawk land on our washing line (it's a small garden, so I wouldn't expect that to want to come in), but I think I'd have been out there every second of the day if it was eyeing up the bird feeder! 😊

Had an interesting appointment today at my ear specialist. The hospital was supposed to give me an appointment in october- but they never did. Nor did they send transcripts to my ear specialist like they are suppose to... nor did the doc take proper notes when I was there. Shocking really. They called me an hour later if that, and gave me an appointment for tomorrow. They must know they really messed up :P Oh, did I mention I got a lovely ear infection?
