Pretending to be a machine really works for me because it forces me to try to keep things small and even - otherwise I'd want to do huge stitches and get it done faster! LOL

thanks :D I meant to have this HA yesterday for Remembrance Day (it's meant to be a field of poppies :P), but I totally forgot I had it saved 😊 nods I think that's where I went wrong - I wanted to get it done quicker, so I ended up with stupidly long stitches :P I'm definitely going to have another go though :D

it's one of those tops that I thought I wouldn't use much, then realised I'd used it more than any of the CW I've released 😊 laughs

The slipper looks really sweet :D I haven't spent my plot points yet - I wanted to get my sewing project worked on today, rather than figuring out what plot items I wanted laughs (working on a hoodie for me, and hopefully I can also get the cuffs & waistband done on my cousin's son's hoodie too)

Oh, I didn't realize you released it, how cool is that! ^^ I have not done anything like that before - I seem to stick mostly to companions and wigs at the moment. Oh a hoodie sounds really nice! I am currently embroidering a fox in a raincoat onto a shirt - when it is done I'll get a pic to show you. :D Will you post a pic f the hoodie when you are completed with it? I am curious to see it when it is done.

nods I abandoned my hoodie for the day, as the binding around the neckline didn't go quite to plan 😊 I think I might have to hand stitch that down rather than using the machine ;)
I have made a few before rummages for pics of those ^ the first one I made for me - this one has thumbhole cuffs

^^ same pattern as the first one with thumbhole cuffs, but with a funnel neck instead of a hood

^ same pattern again, although I changed the neckline to have the hood cross over at the front. This was also a size smaller as I didn't like the boxy shape of the original ones :P

^ the first one I made for my cousin's son - he grew out of this one quite quickly, so I'm making it two sizes bigger this time laughs That was surprisingly challenging to sew something that small, but it was good practise, as after that I ended up sewing something for a neighbour's baby (and that was a lot more fiddly!)

Man am I exhausted. I went to Sketchers this morning at 9.40, had to wait till they opened at 10. After trying on several pairs, I select two pairs and from there, I went to Homedepot for staples, Walmart for a journal for mum and stain for a project, then to Joann's and then to petco. (bought another snail, and other things, for the 20 gal as I discovered that snail dead two days ago.) Got home to eat dinner (lunch). Two a nap at like 2 something. At 4, when I woke I and mum went to the fabric store. Came home, ate super and then went to hobby lobby. just got back home. On top of that, we've had two blokes coming to look at the roof (had a big leak) both chaps said new roof so gotta get that sorted too. One company came back just before super and put a tarp on. I'm dead on my feet haha. Oh and I cleaned the bathtub lol. [edit] here's pics of Niece's purse.
