I wore a long sleeved blouse to work last Friday. There's no AC in my office. I thought I was going to die. I just got a pretty Free People sweater in the post. G-d knows when I get to wear that.

it's kinda sad when its cooler in GA than North Cali I'm near tears. Can't relax tonight. So stressed and every time I get to just about to relax something else happens. And just now those freaking horrible beetles that look like giant roaches (palmeto beatle) landed right by my bed. How the hell can I sleep there?

Well (again with the interrupted.) It came around me so I thought I killed it and I asked mum to get rid of the damn thing... but it got away again. Finally she found it, and ran over it with my computer chair. -nerves shattered.-

I f**kin hate palmetto bugs, we used to get them when I lived in Kentucky. hugs

I will be washing my bedding in the morning lol me too! ugh, nasty thing. We call them caiman so we don't have to use the name. UGh. -shudders- Hows the night for you?

nah, I stayed indoors to watch them, and the angle wasn't the easiest to try with the camera (you could see the higher ones over the rooftops, but most of the lower fireworks were blocked by the houses) hehe well it looks like the skeleton is having a great time on his round-the-world trip ;) :D She thinks they are wolf cubs - she found them .... well, Remus and Snowden actually found them, so she thought she'd make sure they were somewhere a little safer ;) :P

I really think the weather has forgotten what month it's meant to be! ;)

I am enjoying the warmer temps while it lasts. lol Its nice to not freeze during my walks. lol Cold winter weather has its charm too tho. :D

Its always nice to hang out with my mum, she is wonderful. :) I still need to finish up that shopping net- working on the handles now.

That is quite warm! California seems like a great place to live tho. Would love to visit LA, cants say I know much about the rest of California tho. :) Seems like we are getting unsually warm weather all across the board here- from Europe to the US.

that's a very good point, although I do prefer the colder weather laughs Maybe not quite so cold as we had in March this year though :P

I agree! I should ping my Aussie friends to see if it's cold for them when it should be hot.

LA is a nice place to visit but I'm glad I don't live there. Terrible transportation if you don't drive like me and everyone's obsessed with their image, and it's warmer but the ocean's still cold. I like Southeastern beaches better.

I live in San Francisco, it's pretty great! I dislike snow and ice quite a bit and don't miss them at all. But I do miss warm summer rain. It only rains here when it's bitter cold. I keep trying to tell the weather gods that if they'd learn to rain in the summer we wouldn't have droughts and hellfires all summer.

I can see that being true for LA, people trying to make it into the entertainment business and all that. Must be nice to live close to beaches like that! :) We have beaches where I live too, but most of the year its too cold to really enjoy them, let alone go for a swim or sunbathe. lol I live in Norway so :P

San Francisco seems amazing too! Lucky gal! :) Seems like it a city with loads of character and charm to me. Granted, I never had the chance to visit the US so only speaking from what I seen and heard. :) We dont get a lot of snow where I live, and when we do it tends to just melt and turn in to slush or freeze into ice that makes walking around scary. so yeah- not a big fan either. lol

Hopefully you will get some cooler weather soon then. :) Doesnt look like we will anytime soon. but then again I am good with that so. :P

that's a good thought actually, I wonder if their temperature has been out compared to what they'd expect. We're forecast "milder than normal" temperatures for at least the next week I think :K

yeah, they're saying milder temperatures for the next week at least - and that usually comes with rain (or at least drizzle), so Mum complains that the washing is hard to dry (it can't dry outside, and the weather isn't cold enough to need the heating on, so it doesn't dry easily indoors either :P) ;)
