One Christmas, my sister and I ran to our local drugstore that was still open to get something important and out of nowhere I decided to grab this GIGANTIC stuffed dinosaur. I have it to her when we got back home I think.

I've had lots of great gifts over the years, I'm so spoiled X) I think one of the best ones I had recently was last Christmas, when my Dad and Stepmother gave me a black jacket. If only they saw the look on my face...
Socks!!! I always love and need socks.
My beloved family is the best gift ever! :)
Every year, my husband gives me a $100 gift card from Barnes and Noble. I really love it!

I've never given much thought to the best gift I've ever received! Hmm... Concert tickets to see The Used, a big fluffy sweater with a cat head on it, a canvas shopping bag with sketches of butterflies and insects on it. Some of the top ones at least!
That's a great story! I love spontaneous stuff like that! Once, my partner and I drove an hour and a half to a store in a different state to buy a giant stuffed sheep. Her name is Sheila and she is one of my favorite things!
I am the same way. Honestly, all I need are some cute socks to keep my toes warm and I'll be golden. I remember so much more the holiday and the people I spent it with anyway!
The best gift I have ever been given is my most precious little cat Hermes. He's 13 now but I was gifted him when he was but a few weeks old. He is the light of my life,

When my kids were really into Pokemon TCG, I bought a box of the newest set and decorated the tree with each pack. They thought it was FANTASTIC. That is my favorite gift I have given.
My favourite gift of recent years has been a subscription to a sci-fi short story magazine, Lightspeed. So good. Every month I get a delicious helping of spec fic delivered to my inbox.

My favorite gift given was a megalodon tooth. :) I'm something of a fossil collector, and this one tooth was beautiful.

I bought my girlfriend a Kitchen Aide this year for Christmas. My mom and I went in on it and my mom's boyfriend bought her the food processor attachment for it.
I made my whole family Weasley sweaters this year, I was so excited to give them and they were just as thrilled to get them gauging from their reactions :)
The best gift I got this year was one of those "personalize it" books that was about my cat and I! The best gift I gave this year was the Jumanji board game, my aunt loved it :3
Best given this year was a book and dvd about Oak Ridge, TN to my mother this morning. Her father worked there when she was a child.
my favourite present i gave this year was a really nice, soft jumper for my nanna ;v; it's hard to pick my favourite that i received... i think either breath of the wild, which my girlfriend totally surprised me with, or a root chakra bracelet that i got from my auntie!
Best gifts I've gotten irl include... my 3ds (though that was four years ago, I still love it heh), a super soft sweater my grandma knitted for me, and both my cats! One of them was given to me for my birthday, even. :')
But speaking of Christmas gifts... Thank you all so much!! ❤ You're all wonderful & I loved all your gifts!! ; V ; Thank you so much a thousand times ❤ ❤ ❤
Long story short: family's having a financial struggle. We're getting it remedied next month but we have to get to Jan 2nd for it to go into effect. That said, we had no idea how we were going to swing a Christmas turkey, as is tradition for my family, and eventually my parents gave up on getting it. Mom was really, really upset about it.
So a couple days ago, on a whim, I checked my bank account. I had $10 extra that I have no idea where it came from since it was definitely not there before and I can't trace it. One phone call later to the place we get our turkeys from and a trip to that store, I came home with a 13lb Christmas turkey that is presently cooking in the oven as I write this.
I suprised Mom with it and accidentally made her cry. In happiness of course.
