For my birthday, someone game me a gold account. I literally couldn't talk, I was so excited!

Honestly, the best gift I have received is my laptop. I have a tendency to spend a lot of money on other people and never spend it on myself, so despite the fact that I have wanted a gaming computer for a long time, I just never would buy one. My partner bought me a wonderful gaming laptop and it's honestly the best gift because I know I never would have gotten it for myself.

The best gift I have ever given is...maybe the antique pill roller/cutter...maybe the piece of wood from the tree in The Shawshank Redemption (it was destroyed and now a company is making trinkets) that has Andy's letter inscribed in it. I think my partner would say one of those was the best gift.

Anything my boyfriend gives me makes me happy as a horse! Although one year I remember he came to my house with this big bag FULL of ponies. There was a giant pony inside (Fluttershy) who even talks and smells like strawberry. I never forget anything he gets me! :)

For our first holiday season, my boyfriend (now husband) sewed me a How To Train Your Dragon Toothless plush. I had no idea, but I guess it was a frantic Thanksgiving break as he was trying to finish it. It turned out to be about a foot and a half in length and utterly adorable.

Best gift this year specifically? Someone bought me Witcher 3, which I've heard so many amazing things about. Best gift in general? My folks, specifically my mom, sends me a fruit bouquet for Chanukkah. It's such a wonderful gift. Delicious fruit when fruit is scarce, and Chanukkah always comes right around the time when I start going, "I need fruit. There's no good fruit on sale! AAAH!" Every year I am first eager and then thrilled. <3

I painted a bowl for my now-husband then-boyfriend with some memories and things about what makes us so good together. We use it for our keys and little odds and ends. We call it the "bowl of importance." I think that's the most meaningful gift I ever gave him. I also gifted him a MacBook Pro and a WiiU a few years ago. I used to love spoiling him.

I received a weaving loom one year. I was very excited. :)

Best present will be in about 3 weeks, when my soldier comes home. been gone just over a year, and nothing will make me happier... I do believe he's going to propose too!

Honestly this is gunna sound dumb but I’d rather be with my family in Canada during the holidays than get any physical gifts. This year I won’t be able to be with them and it’s the first year so I’m kinda bummed. The best gift I Have gotten is just a plane ticket or a ride to go see my family and have my moms cooking

I once gave a guy I was dating a recording of an entire set he played djembe for with a guitarist in a local bar. He had no clue I was making it for him and he said it was the coolest gift he'd ever gotten.

One year I gave my mother a bag of blue (her favorite color) marbles. When she opened the gift she had a puzzled look on her face so I explained "I bought you a spare set of marbles since you're always loosing yours". She loved it and then I gave her her real gift a ceramic reindeer hugging a snowman inscribed with "You're my snowy best friend".

The best gift I've ever been given was a potted mini rose for my birthday last year, I hadn't expected anything and I was so happy I was desperately trying not to cry. For Christmas gifts my favorite would be the nautical themed friendship necklace I got this year.

My parents are great gift givers! I can't really pick one, but last year I got some beautiful Disney pins from them.

This year I took some chances and got my dad some books I think he'll like even though he's not a reader. I hope he likes them.

The best gift I was ever given was just a simple knock off benie baby from my parents. We were super broke when I was little and they couldn't get me the name brand ones that everyone loved. I was teased about it, which made me cry because I was also very sensitive, but I loved that stupid plush anyways no matter what they said about me for it.

The best I've given? Oh lord I'm not sure. I always try really hard on the gifts that I give people but you never really know if you've gotten it right because they will almost always lie even if they don't like it.

This year I am giving my mom a cuddle clone of her dog... it turned out amazing so I'm super excited for her to open it!
