The best gift I've gotten via Mysterious Melody was and
The best gift I've been given was received the year we abruptly had to leave our home right before Christmas. Co-workers bought a small fake tree and decorated it for, then surprised me at the end of the work day. It was incredibly special to know they cared and wanted to make the season brighter for me.

One of the best gifts I ever received was from my mom. She got tickets to see Wicked on Broadway. I was dead center in the orchestra seating. Was definitely a good Christmas present
one of my best gifts I ever got was my car my dad got me.
This year a bunch of my friends for our D&D games made a big fund for one of our poorest friends who has a lot of health problems and can't always make it to games. We kept it a secret and on the day of the game, right before her birthday we brought out the presents all wrapped. She started crying. We got her a special lense for her camera, and a new sewing machine.
I just got the most adorable dart frog plush and it's so cute! I think the best gift I've ever given was a puppy for Christmas. (Just to be clear, it wasn't a surprise - the pup was discussed months beforehand and just happened to be born in the late fall.)
A couple years back around here, I musta dumped like 5 of the rarer potions on different Melody partners, and a bunch of the Subq items. My favorite though was testing my luck on the retired items CSC machines and throwing the spares to the SB. >:3c

My boyfriend finds things I truly adore and somehow manages to find me something related. This year was an animatronic plushie Starwars Porg. I will love it and take care of him like a child.
Best gift I have given would be what I'm giving my sister this year a comforter with her face quote from the book the raven.
The best gift I've ever received was a singing Hannah Montana doll from my now-husband. It wasn't so much the gift itself, though I was a fan and would constantly play with the dolls when I saw them in store. It was more that that year, my family did not gift me anything for Christmas. I remember being crushed, because all I received from them was a pair of socks. They were confused on why I had been forgotten, but to be honest they had never been kind to me. That my then-boyfriend got me anything at all, let alone something silly that I enjoyed, was the best feeling and the best gift I've ever received.
