(my sister has made some pretty mean vegetarian/vegan dishes the past couple years too which are also quickly becoming faves. vegan pot pie with lots of vegetables and mushrooms is delicious!)

Ok, so my favorite "holiday" food has always been my mom's kapusta. My great-grandmother was from Poland and my mom learned how to make it from her. She only makes it for the holidays and it's sooo good!
all the traditional Foods...Turkey, Ham, potatoes can't wait to start cooking :)
don't forget the Chocolate pies :)

My mother makes clover leaf rolls from scratch and they are the best carbs in the world. I've made them, with her watching and they never come out as good as hers. I always accuse her of putting a drop or two of some illegal substance in hers to make them so amazing. =0P

Every year my grandmother and I make cookies with the family...I always look forward to it each year cause she loves to bake so many....I'm always in charge of the cutout cookies! Rolling, cutting, baking, decorating...

I love eating Goose on christmas and my mums carrot salat. Everything she cooks is just home. But sadly she will be the next week still in hospital. I could cook it myself, but it's not the same.
I personally love a Roast to eat on the holidays ( but I don't mind having a Stew , Ham or even a Turkey) .
