My very favorite holiday food is codfish with cream! My grandma makes it a little differently from the normal recipe, but I swear it's twice as delicious.

I recently got to taste some really nice gravy? (from thanksgiving) So I'm hoping I can get some mashed potatoes and gravy again.

I also have this intense craving for raw salmon. That's fancy enough for holidays, right... ?

This is so silly but I really like the cranberry sodas that come out around the holiday season.

My aunt used to make lasagna packed with ground beef and sausage for Christmas Eve. It was delicious! I don’t see her as often anymore because of work schedules but it’s something I think of fondly.

I am SUCH a sucker for sweet potato casserole >> And just about anything with almonds in it, unf. So good.

Wah! So many! My favorite holiday food has to be this concoction that my mom-in-law makes every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Dubbed simply 'potato stuff', it's this casserole containing lots of potatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and broth, topped with more cheese and rice krispies, and baked to golden perfection. <3 My favorite holiday food, for sure. ^_^

Hmmm, spicy cinnamon apple cider, spiced yam casserole, and gingerbread spice cookies are amongst my favorites! (Hey wait a second, I'm seeing a theme here...lol.)

Roast chicken or a good roulade.

i'm italian and my family's traditional christmas dinner are tortellini in brodo, which i hate lmao so i don't eat them

pandoro all the way tho!! panettone is also alright but let's be real here pandoro is superior

i also love red wine but now that i'm an adult i can just drink it whenever so it's not just a christmas thing, but thought i'd add it anyway |D

Like, cinnamon rolls are what my family does for christmas, but there's apple pie and sugar cookies and gingerbread and...oh I could go on forever.

For Christmas, I love classics like lobster soup, stuffed turkey with gratin potatoes, and ice cream as dessert. MMMM!

Any food with cheese is my top favorite, so I always look forward to the ham and cheese spread my mother makes - it's gooey and warm and wonderful <3
