Aren't they amazing? The TJ's chips I mentioned are basically just a whole bag of the parsnips from Terra chips, which are my favorite chip (and there are so precious few in the Terra mix). Sucks you don't have a TJ's nearby; I'm doing vegan keto and they've been indispensable for the stuff I need for that. Terra chips are indeed expensive but fortunately(?) I can't eat many on keto anyway, so a bag lasts a while now. Like, more than a day. XP

A: It would normally be super easy for me to choose the concert, but my favorite singer from my favorite band is currently involved in a play and is performing new songs he wrote for it (it's "Hänsel und Gretel") so I choose that! Man, I really wish I could go.

: I had to look up who you were talking about -- I'm familiar with your singer, though I'll confess he's a taste I haven't acquired.

A: Hmm.
A parka with a hood -- I can put up with cold feet, but I'm a whiny git if my head is cold.
A GPS, because I'd completely suck at orienteering myself. A jetpack so I can just fly over the woods instead of having to navigate through them.
A phone and credit card so I can call Uber and pay for it once I get to a highway.

Hey, that's cool. I'm still out here in the cold and damp screwing around with a hatchet and a magnesium fire starter; meanwhile, you've already airlifted yourself to a cozy cabin and are probably all snuggled up in front of a nice fireplace. Jeez, I feel dumb now. :P

Q: What’s your biggest screw up in the kitchen?

Oh man... I was trying to make honey-soy marinated pork chops. I did the marinade, no problem. I marinated the chops, no problem. I thought it would be awesome to put the chops and their marinade directly into a really hot pan. For a moment everything was fine, the marinade was bubbling and my chops were sizzling... and then it like... did the opposite of snap freezing, and everything just crisped up to solid black in a second. It took several days of scraping to get it all off the pan.

Q: What's your LEAST favourite animal? Why?

A: That's hard to say because I really try to appreciate life in all forms...but right now, I think I'll go with spider mites, because they're a bitch to get out of your plants when you get an infestation.

A: ah...boring and predictable, but I have to with the kind, T. Rex.

The opal. So pretty, so many varieties. The Black Opal is my favourite variety, its mostly blue, rather than black though.

- A: Instant teleportation like in sci-fi. I'd love to be able to visit many places and visit my friends abroad!
