Perhaps I do! Wouldn't that be awesome? ^_^ I'm doing good, just been a busy bird so I haven't been able to get on and say hi to everyone as much as I would like to. Plus it's been hotter than Dante's Inferno outside and my house doesn't have central air so I don't go in my computer room too often, I stay in the bedroom where I have a window AC and it's cool. How've you been?

Eric and I made it to San Francisco and the hotel is so much better! It's in a perfect place and Chinatown is just a block away from us, with Japantown only a 10 min drive or a 30 min walk. Either way we're going to do the public transport as much as possible while we are here.

I wish i could get a massage while here, but probably not. I got some sore muscle rub, so will use that for now. The weather is in the 60s at the moment and will be for awhile, so much better then the heat in Texas!

OH! I won two free CWs, so no one can say that I bought them with the family money :P

when I posted the information on the sales guy I was referring to the information of being handy and knowledgeable. I didn't expect him to check in or anything like that but you know if I had a question to at least answer or point me in the direction I needed to be in. I've never purchased a brand new vehicle before so it's all new to me how things work but even in the past the sales folks I've had have always been available if I had a question. This guy just straight up ignored answering the two questions I had (I only sent him two texts - a week apart) and he's been pestering me to fill out a survey regarding his end of the deal. I haven't done it. I probably wont because if I do my honesty will show and it's just not worth it to me. Call me old fashioned but I still believe in communicating after a sale with a customer no matter the industry.

Now for the tires form what I was looking at it said max on the otter tire wall so yeah, they were too high and when I took them back to lower the pressure they went way below the minimum. So I had to add some air back before the trip. Two of the tires are higher so I'm going to try and get them evened out. Just an ocd thing. But the other two are right around 34 so I'm content with that since I know the psi inflates when driving.

they come over inflated from the factory is what I was told and what I read when I was trying to find out what might happen and so forth. They were supposed to lower them to at least 35 but didn't. The funny thing is my ride was a little more smooth when the psi was lowered and I didn't hear as much road noise. So while I know a little bit on the high side could help with the fuel economy more I just didn't want to have the heat from the pavement cause my tire(s) to pop while on the road.

Glad your appraisal visit went well. Rooting for your credit score to increase to where you want. :) Ooh and as for phones, maybe try to snag one now since school is starting back up or again around Thanksgiving? Depending on the specs you need or what not you can do a comparison. Do you have a brand preference? I have an LG but it's already acting up and slowing down and it's annoying because I don't keep anything open or have any apps on it really. So I feel ya there.

Yea it all depends on your comfort on the tires. I keep mine at about what it says on the tire itself. Cus keeping it underinflated can be just as bad as overinflated.

I got a new phone. UGH!!! I ended up with the same one that died. HOWEVER it apparently is Generation 2 of the phone. And I have had it several days now...and it is acting better then the first one did. The first one I wanted to toss it the day I got it. I had issues with it. So far I haven't had the same feelings with this. SO maybe they fixed all their issues they had when they first released it to this new generation release.

I am sure you all are tired of my ranting about the home/rent/loan thing...BUT I need to get this out. I really dont talk to my friends around here about it cus they just dont fully get it .....

I am not sure if I fully mentioned or not that either way if the loan goes through or not, I have to find a new place to live by end of October, that is when I told the landlord I would be out. SO besides NEEDING the loan to really go through cus I have no clue what I am going to do about finding another place to rent if it doesnt. My landlord wants me out for 2 reasons. 1) he wants to get around to remodeling this unit which hasn't been done in 20 years. 2) He hates cats and wants me and my cats gone.

I find the 2nd landlord thing hilarious. He had no idea I had any cats until my dad passed away 3 years ago. (I had the cats 2 years at that point...maybe not as many...but I had several). My friend, the same that does the AC work for the place, was watching the place for me. Something happened in one of the other duplexes so landlord called them up to fix it. My friend was like "Yea I have to be over there anyway to take care of Dee's Dogs and Cats while she at a funeral." I get back...3 weeks later landlord was like "I had no idea you had cats." THEN from that moment on any time he came over he was like "WOW I smell cat everywhere. They are smelling up the place. Last fall he suggested I rip out ALL the carpet to get rid of the cat smell. I did the work taking the carpets out. I PAID for the dumping of the carpet. He still went on about the cat smell. I didn't get any compensation about the time and money I put in for the removal of the carpet by the way. AND I know from past rentals of the other unit he compensated rent if they did work on the place that he didnt have to (one guy mowed the lawns weekly...so he took money off for that) And the same guy would powerwash the building and money came off rent for that. How do I know...the guy told me. SO I did hours of work for him and even PAID money out of pocket to remove it and got NOTHING from it. In fact, when I removed it I had to wait for someone to come and haul it away...he complained at me for 2 months about it being outside, out of eyeline by the way, to get it removed. Several conversations in the past always felt like vague threats of him throwing me out. So it was kinda funny in July right when I started the idea of wanting to buy a house. He calls and wants to show up to talk. REFUSES to talk on the phone. I tell him I have a few minutes before work to talk. He shows up and suggests that I should try to buy a house or I need to move out cus he wants to renovate the place. AND he hopes that he doesn't have to tear it down cus of the cat smell. WTF! He has been watching to many episodes of Hoarders or something when people allow their animals to potty everywhere and NEVER clean it up or something and piles of trash all over. He tries to bully his way inside and I go "I have been working non stop for several weeks, my house keeping is not the greatest and I don't feel comfortable allowing you or ANYONE in." So he left. BUT he really tried claiming the neighbor had bugs and they HAD to be coming from my place. I was like "I haven't seen any bugs in months. I HAD seen them but I bought bait traps and things and put them down around the place. I change them out every few months. So I havent seen any. AND that they had been bad when the last person had moved out so I figured it had to do with them and THAT unit itself." I just think he was trying to use a tactic to get in anyway. THEN a month later this "inspection" thing has to happen. Yea he got his way inside. I was just surprised he stayed in the living room area and didnt go snooping from room to room. Then again she took photos...so he could see from those I suppose. I didnt follow her around to see how many photos of each room she took and what she was looking at in the photos. HE made sure to remind me tho that he wanted to renovate and I needed to be out. And even tho I had told him start of August when my loan thing was happening. AND I had told him on the phone a week earlier. HE still asked me WHEN it was going to be. I told him again. Either way by end of October was the plan. I really need out of here. This is unneeded stress living here. I just so hope the loan happens. I want my own place. No one to answer to or worry about answering too. No one calling and being all "I need to look inside at the batteries of a smoke detector" (snoop around). I really dont want to have to find a new place to rent. Esp since I have no clue what I will do about the cats. I guess I could sneak them in and hide them while I am there. LOL BUT I rather not. And I really rather not try to find them homes or bring them to the shelter. They are all my babies in a way at this point and be so hard to let go. I use to think I could choose but I am lying to myself...I could never do that :(

ha. , I remember those days. (AND we are like you. the temp has gone back up into the 90's :( boooo) heh. last year our air went out on us. THANK Goodness we had still saved the 'portable' air conditioners. once the man hooked them up, i didn't leave my room. heh.

yeah for this year. the air has been working perfectly.

and hopefully, we are more prepared with the electric going out this winter. (ha. the weather sneezes, and the damn cable/electric goes out)

and next month, i'm hoping to be in a postion to pick up some rechargeable batteries, and some solar chargers.

the man did get a generator. but he needs to make sure it works, BEFORE the winter. heh. (we especially want it to work to keep the fridge going)

i know that we didn't tell our landlord about my old lady cat. just the dog. (and the deposit for that is just Outrageous) truthfully, we have been expecting my old lady to die, for the last 3 years. heh. but she's still alive. blind. deaf. can't keep her balance. :( but i just can't have her put down. and she doesn't seem to be in any pain. she mostly eats. sleeps. poops. eats. sleeps. poops. etc.

gah Gerty. i don't know if i could stand the suspense of waiting for the credit check. :(

maybe look for a house you can buy, and talk to the realtor about 'renting' it temporary? then when every thing goes through, (BECAUSE IT WILL GO THROUGH PERFECTLY!) you can just change up the paperwork, and use the 'rent' as your 'house payment'?

just a thought. (heh. you've probably already had this thought and so many more)

I don't mind some road noise because over time I'm going to hear it no matter what probably, lol. I just didn't realize how much the over inflated tires were buzzing under me until after they were lowered. And I was definitely annoyed that they under inflated because like you mention there's danger in that too.

In regards to your housing troubles at the moment have you considered renting to own types of places? As a back up maybe?

Bahahaha! I put my pet in one of the Christmas rooms (Christmas in July) back in July and I've not been to thrilled about the themes for each week so I haven't done much in a while. Sorry to have confused you though, lol!

huggles Things have been sucky, but I am slowly working towards making them less sucky. My father died at the end of June and it still hurts, (before I would make it through by just telling myself that they made a mistake and that Daddy was still alive, that someone else had passed. Now, just talking about him, albeit in the present tense, makes me feel better.)

I'll be moving in with one of my sisters in the Falls soon and will do a job transfer so that I still have monies and can help my sister pay for things while I'm living with her and her children. I'll be saving during this time as well so that I can get my own apartment. After 26 years of living with people....I want my own place, lol. How are you? We have missed our Pink-loving Queen! <3

I'm glad you made it to San Francisco okay and that you are enjoying the hotel and China Town! Take lots of pictures of there and Japan Town~ You might find an even better muscle rub while you're there, or a relaxing body scrub, etc. if you don't have time for a massage parlor <3

Oh, honey, I am so sorry :( I really hope the loan comes through for you, that landlord is a downright nightmare. I don't know why he hates cats so much, but he is really acting like an ass. I bet if he had poked in before he found out about the cats and the kitties were somewhere else at the moment, he wouldn't have "smelled" anything.

I really do hope you get your own house--a real safe haven, no one poking in your business or harassing you--also seriously, not compensating you in some way for all the work you did?! If there is no where in the lease agreement that it has to come out of your pocket for something like that, he needs to pay you back somehow. Karma will get him back somehow, and I wish to you all the good karma and vibes so that you can get the loan. Your cats are indeed your babies and you all need to be together <3

Indeed! ^_^ lol, I kind of want the bag myself, but I don't need to be spending monies! XD I mostly have soup and tea, even though it is scorching outside, lol. I will sneak in a leftover taco or my special dip (black beans, corn, ro*tel and velveeta cheese eaten with tortilla chips) if my body still feels hungry....and an ice cream bar if I feel waaay too hot. My throat doesn't hurt anymore, but I still feel sick.

Last night was a nightmare, lol. It was very busy for a Tuesday and they split the home department people up again--I worked in home by myself while my other person was put in shoes. Shoes, which already had THREE freaking people. (Granted, two of them were new, but all the shoe-guy had to do was give them simple instructions for that day, as in stripe the boxes top to bottom by box id, which is what all the departments had to help him do the night before--if we had to figure it out in a few minutes, so can they.) But nooo....the shoe person had MY home person A do most of the work while he was conversing with the 2 new people and giving them a "grand tour", all the while not showing them by ACTUALLY working and making A answer every single call.

Apparently, another home person was supposed to be with me last night, but they never came in. So they KNEW I was by myself. My body ached, felt sweaty and hot all over, headaches and sneezing my head off (the other departments could hear me from a distance) and with all the calls left and right (or people wrecking the areas I just cleaned) it took me waaay longer than it should have to get everything okay. The store manager (she just came back from vacation) had the bloody nerve to say "You're slipping/slacking, Liz!" In her perky ass voice and it took everything in me not to just walk out then and there. (She's the one that after finding out that my Dad passed away and that I needed a job transfer as I would be moving, went "Oh, let us know if there's anything we can do for you! ........We don't do store transfers. But let us know if I can do anything for you!" That wench can be soooo fake.

I should get some coffee and see what this hotel theme is all about. Maybe it'll break my streak. I do enjoy playing when I get a chance. My problem isn't the money side necessarily just the lack of interest. I seem to be in an off season for a lot of things... Hope that shakes soon.

To lose a parent is hard and I am here as well as on fb if you ever want to talk or vent. Just know that there is no timeline to dry your eyes. You are allowed to reminisce and cry when you miss him. There is no deadline on grieving someone you loved dearly. <3
