I love dipping my fries in milkshake, much to the dismay of EVERYONE I like xD
I love pickles, mushrooms, shrimp chips, sauerkraut and fried cabbage.
I am obsessed with cilantro and salmiak with chocolate,
You know those little pizzas that cost like, $1 and can be heated up in the oven for like 6 minutes? Apparently most people think they're disgusting but I looooove them.
I absolutely love peanut butter, pickle, and marshmallow sandwiches. Haven't had one in over a year, but my family gives me such a horrified look when I eat one in front of them. At first I ate it because of the shock factor- I saw it on TV and wanted to freak my family out. After a couple, though, I really began to love them. I just cut up a dill pickle, spread some peanut butter on bread, and put some mini marshmallow and the sliced dill on the peanut butter, on both slices of bread. Instant delicious breakfast that will make most people vomit.
Three things come to mind for me:
I've got flames on my chest. It's a lot to live up to.

I really enjoy brussel sprouts. I think one of the best ways to make them is to split them in half and oil them with a bit of olive oil then throw them in the oven uncovered and bake them for a bit. Some of the edges get crispy browned, so good!
Cilantro, blue cheese ( or any kind of really strong cheese ), and apparently a LOT of people hate tomatoes?? And I don't understand because I will straight up just eat them with salt and pepper. 8'T
For some reason I adore sour fermented milk products, particularly kefir ( It has a close similarity to american buttermilk. Though unlike buttermilk it's almost always naturally fermented rather than curdled with vinegar, which has become common because it's cheaper.) and almost no one in my family likes it other than me.
Brussel sprouts used to be the sort of standby, &;everyone hates them&; food, but I think they&;ve become kinda trendy now. That said, I love them. They&;re like tiny little cabbages. I feel like that might count.

I toss them with melted butter, soy sauce, and a crushed bouillon cube, then roast them in the oven to taste. I prefer them less done than my sister does but they're good both ways. Tbh I think part of it is that for a long time everyone boiled veggies, and the majority of brussel sprout-esque foods taste better roasted and are darn near vile when boiled.
I love cottage cheese! They're good plain and even better on salad with some french or catalina dressing! Some people don't like it, though.

I like putting a handful of fruit in cottage cheese. Whatever I have on hand, apples, blueberries, pomegranate. I find the combination really yummy!
Haggis, except tinned haggis. That is pretty bad.
A food combination that apparently is weird is red wine and vanilla ice cream (not mixed, just at the same time). I love it, any time I have red wine I always have vanilla ice cream, everyone tells me it's weird.
, I love fruit in cottage cheese too. Especially grapes, pears, and pomegranate.

Some ways to cook brussels sprouts= Trim the bottoms, split them after cleaning off any bad outer leaves regardless of whatever preparation you do. So, drizzle a bit of olive oil, a sprinkle of sea salt and cracked pepper, make an aluminum foil packet on a baking sheet, place the sprouts cut side down in the packet, sprinkle a little water on them then seal the packet. Roast at 500 degrees for 10 minutes, then open the packet and roast them another 8-10 minutes, they will be tender and crispy delicious! If that's more than the oven is happy with, just roast them for 15-18 minutes at 400 degrees. Lastly, toss them with a little oil, into a saute pan and fried a bit to give them a little browning, then add a half cup or so of water/or chicken broth to the sprouts, clamp on the lid and steam them for about 7-8 minutes (or less depending on how tender you like them) then drain and serve with a dash of balsamic, or some crumbled bacon. The most important thing with brussels sprouts is not to overcook them.
Obviously I love brussels sprouts, but I also adore liver. Calves liver lightly fried and steamed with a bit of onion gravy. Fried chicken liver with honey mustard sauce. MmMMmm!
Black licorice, black coffee, olives, asparagus. Salted black licorice is my favorite candy! I also like extra-dark chocolate. Any kind of strong, bitter flavor, I'm pretty much bound to like. I also dig brussel sprouts.
I like to cut the brussel sprouts in half, sear them, and sprinkle extra-crispy bacon on them. Some people cook the bacon first, and then sear the brussel sprouts in the bacon fat, though I've never tried that.

, are you me? Exactly what I was going to list, except olives (because how can anyone abhor olives??!). That bacon+brussels method sounds great, mmm.
Anchovy and mushroom pizza. People always think I'm joking when they ask what kind of pizza I like. ☺
Salmiak. I could eat that the whole day every day :D Too bad they don't sell the brands I like most around here, though.
Cilantro (It is one of my favorite spice... Almost everybody else I know hates it), Haggis. (Most people I know haven't dared to try it), Liquorice, very spicy food and peppers, onions (any kind), raw fish and raw meet, vinegar chips. Pineapple pizza is one of my favorite type of pizzas.
I wouldn't have included sauerkraut as we eat it very often were I live, but looking at this thread it seems that on other part of the world it's not very popular. I love it.
Keep in mind, I'm in a teeny town where the staple foods are meat and potatoes. We have this singular Japanese restaurant that has the best sushi I think I've ever had and one of the rolls you can get has spicy caviar on it. I could eat that every day for the rest of my life and never get bored of it. (There's also a boba cafe right next to it, I love that stuff.)
Quickest way to ruin a dish for me? Cilantro. It tastes like soap. I can't stand it. Mom asked if I wanted a bite of something she was having once, unknowing there was cilantro in it, and asked if I was okay because I apparently went a brilliant shade of green.

Black Licorice, everyone in my house hates it so its one snack i can have all to myself. Liver cooked in gravy with onions, I try to eat it atleast once a month or so because it helps with my low iron.
