And where are you at? That's our norm here and the snow was a real treat! I usually don't like snow but when I know I don't have to go any where it's nice.

It was stinky thing to do!! There's a place near here called Schneider's Prairie and we are direct descendants of Schneider. We never knew we were related to the place or the person until about 10 years ago when some unrelated lady wrote a historical novel about him and found my aunt while researching the book. The book is on Amazon and it's called Konrad and Albertina and it's a pretty good book. My great grandma's mom is mentioned in it and was one of their children.

I'm in north texas, not to far from Flyingkat actually :) It doesn't snow all the time, but when it does, I love it! If it's going to be really cold, there should be snow. That's what I think lol. I've lived in places where it snows every year and snow is perfect for Christmas.

It really is and so weird that no one in my family knew until only 10 years ago. This is even weirder: Growing up my bff's last name was Schneider and we didn't even know that I was a direct descendant of a Schneider. And we're still bff's, when we aren't fighting! lol

That is neat. Well we do have a cemetery named after us (Bentley Ridge) which was the name of the town also. Only direct descendants and spouse can be buried there.
