Hi everyone, this is just a flying visit, its past midnight here, so HAPPY CHRISTMAS & LUMI.
Diana I cant even imagine a rottie and a yorkie tussling over a toy! but that sounds like the kind of thing mine would love too, I'll have to look out for them here in England.
Its nice to see everyone here, and new people for me to get to know as well, thank you for the warm welcomes.
In big families that's the easiest way to go! Other than subeta I really only buy for my daughter. I bought hubby a Seahawks tee that my daughter or I can wear if he doesn't like it. LOL
Woohoo! Not quite ready. Real life - yes! Subeta - almost!
I knew they would offer to keep you on! And I know it's not your dream job but until you find it... :-)
I'm doing great!! And if I would ever finish up here I can get a buzz on!! Apple Pie Moonshine! Yummy! How are you?
So was it fun, boring or other? Glad you made money for the pups!
You scared me with the heart attack but I hope you're truly on the mend now!!
Thank you!! I'm so glad you're improving!! :-)

to everyone.... I am a bit anxious about the subeta tree gift thing ! I don't know what to expect about when they're going to 'pop' as in when can people open them and how it indicates who it's from or if it does... anyway. I'll see when it happens. Probably it will be fine. Anyone know if a person is not around what happens with their gift? Do they get it even if they don't come back to subeta for months ?
I had fun... the friend who came with me was feeling a bit unwell (really bad cramps) and was a bit grouchy, but she was glad she came too.
The important thing was our success at fund raising :D
Expect the unexpected. One year the staff person in charge couldn't open the trees from their phone and they had left their laptop at home and we got gifts a day late. LOL! Then everything just gets dumped into your inventory all at once. It's a mess. A fun mess, but still a mess. And it never happens at midnight...I get a bit of anxiety over it too! I always worry if I gave enough or missed someone.
I'm so glad you had fun too!! :-)
Ooo yummy! Haha Josh and I are making hot buttered rum tomorrow. Tonight we're just relaxing and watching movies.
That sounds yummy too! And I have some rum... :-P :-D [edit] I just saw your post! Merry Christmas and Happy Lumi to you too!! And England!! I would love to visit there some day!
I usually prefer wine, myself, but this is really good and it's festive ^_^
Yeah wine is my go-to as well. I rarely drink these days but decided the apple pie moonshine has been in my house 2-3 years and needs to go. ;-) Do you like red or white?
I like both usually, but I tend to go for whatever tastes the best or sweetest. I really like pink moscato and white zinfindel.
I totally agree with everything you said!!! :-D LOL!!
If I'm going to drink, I need to enjoy the taste xD
I agree! I was actually cutting the moonshine with apple juice. Lol!! How long is your holiday from work?
if all goes smoothly we should get them at some point in the morning, no idea if it'll be after midnight or not but who knows. :) You will usually be able to know who sent what. As for other people, I don't really know how it works for those who haven't been on when they allow us to open our trees.
I'm ready for subeta Lumi to be here! I don't have any real life gifts. I'm trying to persuade the hubs to let me get a new car for numerous reasons as my gift this year. We really could use a second car and I want one for myself, I hate sharing and with me starting college again in January even though I worked out my classes around his work schedule I just don't like the what if's.
the sinus surgery was a must, I had been living with chronic sinusitis since last November and not being able to hear out of my right ear was driving me up the wall. Plus it didn't help the eustachian tube was causing more of a fuss for me as well. Wasn't sure if I was going to need tubes or not and luckily I didn't have to decide until the day of but my doctor was not thrilled that I was still iffy on which procedure to do but to be fair he didn't exactly weigh the pros and cons with me and tell me which would be best overall. Nor did he tell me that my immune system would crash and burn after all was said and done. That was a shocker since I made i through the first week after the surgery pretty well and then BAM, haha. As for back up plans, we didn't really make any so we're just sort of here debating going in January.
Glad your surgery is helping your joints over all. That's a plus even though you can really do much of anything for a good while. Take it easy and I hope the healing is speedy for ya! ((hugs)) Do let me know how creative you get with your diet, I can't imagine how tedious and monotonous it might get since you're wired shut pretty much. :/ Maybe fresh juice for the nutrients?
I'm so sorry you don't have any real life gifts! :-( I so know the feeling, although my life has taken some turns for the better lately...Two years ago when the trees didn't open I cried cause that's all I was getting and I remember I was so looking forward to it. I so hope you get your car and pray it happens! Much love and hugs my old friend! β‘β‘β‘
please don't cry, it wouldn't be the first year I didn't get anything in the real world. We were just so set on our trip that we didn't think of anything setting us back ya know. It's not a big deal. I'll get something out of it even if it isn't a second car which we do need.
And now I need to decide if I should open my tree yet or wait... Decisions, decisions. LOL
thank you for the gifts!
I hope everyone in likes the gifts they got π I love mine!
Oh no I won't cry this year! This year has been good for me! I just know how it feels to not get anything! I haven't opened my tree yet either, but on my way! Lol
Yayyy! I'm glad it's going right this year! Going to open mine now! :-D
good, lol. Yeah, the first year I didn't get anything I cried the hardest and now I'm just like meh. Maybe that's weird but I just don't really like the fuss of it all when I can spoil my loved ones through the year and vice versa. Granted it is nice to be spoiled with a surprise gift on Christmas. Haven't really done real gift giving since my grandparents passed in 2010 so I suppose that's why. Any who, I suppose I'll open my tree, I don't know if I can wait any more, lol.
yes open it π enjoy your Luminaire gifts!!
