I ended up doing the balloon which is less invasive but still pretty scary to think about how it's all done. The fluid was gone the moment I woke up pretty much from what I am recalling. I was so thrilled to have that relief! Maybe something like that could work for you? Not now of course since you're healing from your TMJ surgery.

So it sounds like you're eating er drinking a lot of beans, lol. Oh boy what fun. What about soups? Maybe tomato soup or carrot soup? When will you be able to actually start eating more solid foods?

Oh I'm doing much better though I still have this cough and a bit of the rattling in my chest. I'm currently on the hunt for my thyroid medication (manufacture back ordered for a month or so now). Not sure why or what happened but I was thankful to have extra to last me until Friday before Christmas. I've tried calling my primary and no answer or call back so yesterday we drove to the office and there wasn't even a freaking sign! I'm honestly at a loss because I don't have another doctor to turn to to write a new script for something similar at this time. So stressing over that. Otherwise, I'm alright. Wishing this cough and lingering congestion would hop, skip and get the hell out already.

Oh, I don't have a sinus problem I was just worried and curious about yours. I think I have only had about 4-5 sinus infections in my memory. I am so thankful for that because they are painful and not fun. I feel so bad for you having them all the time. I really hope this procedure helps solve your problem.

I have to get a lot of protein so I have to eat a lot of legumes. I'm unable to consume milk or a lot of soy so legumes it is. lol I cannot chew until after 4 months. At which time my Dr said he will work with me on re-teaching my muscles and adding things into my diet to chew.

I also have been having trouble getting one of my medications. The manufacture changed it so now it has lactose in it, so I cannot have t. :/ Now I am looking for a different place to find the medication. Don't you just hate that? hugs I hope you can find a place that isn't back-ordered on your medication. Oh that is horrible that your Dr is out and you have nobody else. Maybe he (or she) is on vacation? I hope they return soon! Do you take medication to suppress the cough or clear the congestion?

I think I caught a flu-like stomach virus from my nephews and sisters who live up the road and have been visiting. I told them to not come over when or if they are sick but my one sister does not care. shrug Luckily it seems to be a rather light bug. I have been feeling really nauseous for the past 36 hours but I have not thrown up (my sisters kids have). So perhaps adults are affected by it differently, that is my hope. LOL I cannot throw up. Outside of that I am healing up well and doing ok. I really like your HA btw!

we have had so much fun so far, heading home tomorrow but depending how Daniel feels about the long drive we may stay overnight in edmonton as he has a doctors app early the next morning there anyways.

sadly for me my son suffers from low self esteem and gets angry easly and he "suffers" from you owe itas....lol Love him but he can drive nuts sometimes.

I had already guessed that. Knowing other kids with similar disabilities it seems to be common to have those feelings. And seems to be worse for boys. :-( Due to her bad speech, my daughter does sometimes clam up around strangers, but most of the time she's 100% happy about everything. And I think she generally behaves better than me! LOL! :-P [edit] Hi!! And welcome! Don't ever worry about feeling awkward here! I often click "post" and think "did I just post that?" rotfl!! You and your son remind me so much of a friend of mine and her son...my daughter's disabilities are obvious once she speaks, but people that look and sound normal, yet have some disability, do seem to have more emotional stuff to deal with.
