Hehe yeah... I did that just now too, was such a small thing I forgot to mention it.
One idea I have, is that the avatar you are building should always be visible. So I want to put hair salon inside a scroll too so you never have to scroll away from your HA preview when you're trying to try stuff on it.
As for telling you if you own something, that's coming back asap, but I'm just trying to figure out how to do it without making the item search even slower. It's way too slow right now so I don't want to make it do more processing. I have some ideas on how to do it though. But yeah, basically, I do not want to add it to the search results, which is part of why it isn't a quick fix.

Awesome. Always being able to see the avatar would be super helpful! Looking forward to all of this :)
Well thank you, it's a great update even if it was small!
I'm 100% with you on having the outfit we're trying on visible at all times, so I'm looking forward to the future updates because it sounds like you have a great plan! 👍
Also, I agree with what you guys are saying about the automatic search. It really was only a problem when you are typing the name. So I can make it update automatically again with all the other options.
I'll make the next round of changes at some point tomorrow :) (I should take a break now.)

I'm possibly one of only a few that prefers how the wardrobe interface layout was before its last few changes. To me it made sense for the wear/save buttons to be beneath the avatar preview, and having the drawer list etc above the items. Now for some reason I have to scroll to view items even when set to 250 per page whereas I hadn't needed to before. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the layout as is at the moment just feels awkward to me.
.. this looks great! Thank you!!
No longer so compressed.. it looks very workable.
The HA always visible.. without scrolling? Without looking back and forth? That would be exciting as long as the compression doesn't get bad again.
The only thing that I can see that I don't like that much is where the Wear Onsite, Save, and Clear buttons are. But, they need to be obvious and visible; I can't really think of a better place for them. :P Maybe if they were under the av and above the 'currently wearing' list of items? Or, if it were centered above/below the avatar space in that left column instead ? But, totally not a big deal! Probably just me being weird.
It's looking good and I could squeeze the window size down to under 600px before it started looking different. Not non-usable, but a long page instead of a wide one.
Looks pretty good on mobile as well! The only suggestion for that would be to put a little buffer area below the Update Results button, since it sits right on the bottom of the page and it might look nicer with a bit of white space under it. But, again, not super necessary.
I like the new layout a lot! It works well for me. I found one problem:
The "clear" button works once for me but then stops working. Isn't it supposed to work multiple times?
Example: I go into Wardrobe and press "clear" - my avatar is put back to only the base, nose, eyes, hair, mouth. I add some items to make an outfit. Then I press "clear" again because I want to start over - only nothing happens this time.
i liked the old one better too.

Since I don't have a mouse I can't scroll through the items on my avatar in the wardrobe. Whenever I try to scroll down by swiping I just end up moving my layers around. This has been an issue for a while but now with the new wardrobe layout this means I can only see my top 7 layers. Anything passed that I can't see or move. So stuck with my saved outfits for now. :(
I'm on a Samsung tablet and use the full site view instead of mobile. My problem is in the wardrope items screen.
Sorry if this was reported elsewhere and I missed it!
[tot=Reduka] Flower me please?
This update is really nice and I so appreciate the work you're putting into this as well as the rest of the site! I do have a few suggestions, but it's mostly just me being nitpicky about things. xD
For me, the entire page scrolls a bit, which is just kinda mildly annoying? Idk if maybe displaying 4 rows of items instead of 5 and moving all the other things up just a bit would change that? Idk if anyone else is having the scrolling issue? Also just another nitpicky thing, but idk I'd much rather the wear onsite button be the same size as the save and clear. I don't really feel like it being larger adds much functionality??
Otherwise, things are looking so good! :) I just wanted to throw my two-cents in.

Don't want to ping you, but I'm at home on my Mac and the wardrobe is awesome.
It's also awesome on my phone. When on the bus to work, if I want, I can change my HA with little effort. So, thank you. If I can think of anything go awry, I'll let you know. Thank you for all your hard work.

~Smooth sailing, it's loading much much faster....and smoother and the searches are working so much faster.... That's really fantastic, thank you for that... I do agree with the comments about preferring the menus on top rather than on the bottom... this way is kind of awkward...I found it a little odd to maneuver.. it was more intuitive wot work with the other way, better workflow, I know you understand that sort of idea. Sometimes a small change to a workspace can be very profound. That said so glad to have a much easier moving interface. Looking forward to the colour matching coming back.

Me~
hello there. Since today there is a new Layout. I am thinking the old one was slightly better. Now I must scroll every time. Sorry to say this. I wish, you do the sidebar down to the name search and this. But exept this? I like the new wardrobe! It is only the scrolling that is unnerving me!
And my HA is bugging too. The pecs wont go away. they WON'T!
Sorry about the bad englisch. I am not a naitive speaker.
Glad I wasn't around for the nasty, narrow, long wardrobe that seemed to happen.
i nearly had a little shock seeing the new layout and while it will take a bit of time getting used to, it seems to work much smoother. it also seems more organized, i like it. thank you, !
sadly i had to zoom out to be able to see everything, oh well, not a big deal.

I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
I like the updates from today, took a bit of getting used to. The update search results for me is really good because before it wouldn't update my results half the time I changed a search term, I think I was going too fast for the wardrobe to keep up.
If I have claimed a Dance from you and do not immediately Dance I will get back to you.

[/font]Whoa, you've been busy with that, (purposely not adding to your long list of pings). I will admit this morning my first thought was "ewww, me no likey" .... but having played around with making a HA and after a few "where's the button gone" moments where my brain isn't quite fully awake yet and I've automatically hovered the mouse where the button used to be :P, it's turned into "I love the new layout" :)
The 'update results' button is also great - my searches were getting stuck before, and giving me results that didn't match what I was searching. So far the searches on this new layout are working perfectly :D
It's fantastic to keep the HA I'm working on, while being able to change the skin & look through my saved outfits, and the search being open at the bottom of the page does make a lot more sense than always having to open the filters tab at the top :D

oh wow yeah this layout is way better, much more efficient use of space! it will take a little adjusting but everything seems to be working well.
- I love love love the new layout of the wardrobe. I do have one little thing to report (sorry!) When I load a saved avatar, my drawers disappear. They can be working fine before that, and if I close the wardrobe and go back in, they're also fine, but once I load a saved outfit, I only have "all" and "none" as options.
I really like the new layout! :) you have been doing such an amazing job updating all the code :D
When I saw it I was quite surprised but as I started playing around with the wardrobe I quickly got used to the change. I think one of the best things is having the preview of the item on mouseover next to the avatar, instead of below it. Also, now that we have to submit a search query instead of auto search, it actually feels easier to use as before I'd type wrong or too slowly and it will return results right away which may not be relevant to what I need. But I can also see where autosearch can be useful, e.g. when you know what you're looking for and just want to quickly view items. Maybe there can be a checkbox option that can be toggled to turn on/off the autosearch.
One more suggestion: One thing that will really make the wardrobe even easier to use would be if we can choose to send an item to the top or bottom of all the layers. e.g. backdrops - I have to drag it all the way down to the end, and this means I need to drag it, then stop, then scroll down a bit more, then continue dragging the item again, and etc., until I get it to move to the end.
