I cleared my cache before checking and unfortunately it does not appear to have gone through. I'm not sure how long ago you did it though so maybe I can check back in a bit?
Thanks for the updates! Great work, I'm glad the search is working without being annoying.
I'm personally not a fan of how vertical/columny the layout looks when I use it on my computer but I'm sure I'll learn to adjust. ;)
Seriously, thank you for all the work you've done to fix the wardrobe and other bugs on site, you are amazing. <3
Oh that is a good idea. I'll see if I can add that somehow.
Also, I'm thinking of maybe making the filter section a little wider? Since the form inputs are really squeezed together. It's a WIP and I'm open to feedback/suggestions on how to proceed.

Can the filter stuff be put back on top of the items list? Putting them side by side makes both super skinny and hard to work with. There's a huge white gap between the avatar previews and the item list and it bunches things up on the side.
like. horizontal scrollbar in the filter zone. wat
That aside I just want to say thank you for everything you do . I had long lost hope about the wardrobe, lol.
Woowwww I feel silly, I really didn't know/think to do that. Thank you, thank you!! Yeah maybe if the checkboxes worked it may be a little less confusing?

Yeah, the filters ended up super cramped >< To answer your question, yes it's totally possible - this is a huge WIP as I try to make things better haha.
It's tricky because I don't want them to take up too much space on the page either, nor should they push the items down when you open the collapsible... I definitely want the item list to have ample space. I think you're right that it's better to arrange them horizontally.
What about putting the search filters underneath the item list?
I'll keep thinking about it...
[edit] could you please let me know what screen resolution you're on?
The previews are supposed to be next to each other. So that's something for me to fix.

My resolution is 1280 x 1024 which says (recommended) for my computer (its a windows 7 desktop). Hope that helps!
I think the search stuff under the items might be better. I think a long time ago people wanted that more than on top but I could be mistaken. My line of thought about the search being on top is since the search is collapsible its slightly annoying having the item list move around. Plus once people have already gotten their filters how they want, the priority focus is on the item list as they search for a wearable so to me it makes sense having it on the top.
Yes, the previews for me are always one on top of the other, never side by side. That would be lovely. My chrome at work doesn't work. I use the wardrobe on my iPhone+ and can work out an outfit with some effort. One does what one can. :)

Yeah, that was my thought too, which is that if the filters are on top, opening/closing them causes the item list to get pushed up and down and it's somewhat annoying. But if we put the filters below the item list, that could work.
How does everyone feel about keeping the filters in their own column, but like... moving the item info to above or below the item list (like in the old layout, but nicer looking) Then the item list wouldn't look as strangely vertical. I'll experiment with it some.
[edit] oh boy. It's kind of tough making it look nice on a phone. Could you describe what your ideal interface would be like on mobile? I can try to work on it, I haven't focused a lot on making this mobile yet.

I agree with what suggested. I also think under the item box works better because that's where the old "search shop" option was and it's now in the left section where the HA is, so that space looks like it's available. I definitely think bringing the filter options back to above (or below) the item box will help make things a lot roomier. I think just everything being squished into the way it is now makes it look really cramped.
hmm this new layout is kind of wonky, there's so much dead space between the layer list and the avatar preview, and the avatar preview and the items, plus the wear and save buttons aren't aligned with the avatar so they feel a little off-kilter. also the tall and narrow item view/search filters just feels... weird.

I take that lie back, when I use full screen they are side by side. DOH. Since I'm at work I have it shrunk a little so I can see emails coming in. So, that's good to know. I'll see what it looks like at home on my Mac. Plus, I'll try to include screen shots of wardrobe on my iphone.

I prefered the old layout to this new one. In fact, I strongly dislike this new display.
Where is the "all subeta items" option? Everything is cramped together and it requires to scroll too much in my opinion. The searching space if very narrow.
That option is now a checkbox labelled "Only show items in your wardrobe" :)

I like having the button to update (agree that hitting enter would be a good thing to add if possible), it helps with the problem of it trying to search while you're typing and then the search function gets confused and refuses to show what you wanted.
I agree the side by side thing looks kind of weird though, I know it's being worked on so hoping the next update will fix some of this. Thank you for the updates!
q__q That was confusing tho. But thank you for pointing me to the right direction.

this is with the "request mobile site" box ticked. It's all compressed and... Off.
.. I can't see how this helps with compression. I have my screen size the same as and unless I stretch my screen as far as possible, this is what I get:

Even stretched it isn't any better then it was..
On my screen (HP Pavilion, approx 34cms across) there is 6.5 cm of empty, white space by the avatar whilst the filters are so cramped as to be unreadable. Showing the item text makes the whole thing scroll down when it doesn't need to. Put on/take off button is redundant (I could do that from the items list or by clicking the item image again) and just adds more height and visual distraction. My most commonly used filters are hidden away or reduce to a checkbox. 1/10, prefer the old layout a lot more.
