- I no longer see the name of the item when I hover over it with my mouse. Will that be reinstated? Sometimes I sort of remember the name of an item I want to wear, but it isn't until I see it in the hover that I remember what it is.

I'm trying to organize things and searching by "not sorted" so I don't have to filter through pages and pages of things I've already sorted isn't working at ALL. It just freezes in the searching stage.

(I LOVE this new layout, except that the search filter on the left side needs to be less narrow to fill out that empty space)

just here to put my two cents in bc i noticed the layout change a bit ago, and after attempting to work with it: pleasepleaseplease just put the filters under the items. this looks weird and i really don't like having the filters vertical. also it's a little inconvenient to have the filters so far away from the actual avatar? not sure why but i've found myself having to consciously try to maneuver around that + keep straight what's an optional filter (the collapsible ones) or not. (i actually really liked having them at the top with a collapse option before but i guess that's just me? i don't like having to scroll the whole page in order to see everything and with the former layout i didn't have to unless i wanted the shop search button/individual item preview.)

it's also wrapping the 'next' button for the pages down onto another row so that it's under 'previous', which might or might not be a good thing? i mean at least that way i won't hit it accidentally when trying to skip to the last page. i kinda liked having it update the search as you typed? lmao i sound super lazy but that way i didn't have to mess with going back and forth between buttons and stuff when searching a bunch of items. not really a big thing but just kinda.. idk i liked it. the put on/take off button is also kinda redundant imo? like we already have an X for that, why is it needed? i'm mainly against it bc i'm going to end up clicking that all the time instead of shop search and have to go find the thing again and then figure out where it was in my mess of layers and that's a little bit of a deterrent for someone that tends to actively utilize most/all of the 30 layers given. (although i realize most people don't) there's also a ton of white space between the avatar and items? got a ruler, it's about 1.25 in/3.16 cm of white space on a 1280x800 resolution. finally, the optional filters are super smushed for me on the right side - the 'sort by' and 'item type' both display the full word in their dropdown but 'direction' and 'per page' display 'A' and '5' respectively and cut off halfway through the next character of their fields. despite there actually being a side scroll option on that group of filters, the filter dropdowns don't expand to fill that space - although the word 'direction' does? it doesn't actually not function, just weird to look at and kind of annoying.

tbh i thought the old layout was great and am actually confused as to why we're getting an update on that. i would have liked just having all the functions in it work fully instead of rearranging. (also i have no idea if it matters bc i don't ever use anything else/don't know if it displays differently in other browsers but i'm seeing this stuff on safari!)

Oi, I have mixed feelings about this!

First off, here's what the wardrobe currently looks like on my screen. My resolution is 1600x900, but it looks like I keep my browser right around 1150-1180 wide.

Definitely don't like how scrunched up everything in the items and filter areas are. Not sure that I've got any good suggestions yet, but I did want to show what it looks like on my screen. Look forward to seeing how this unfolds!

[Edit] Okay, I lied....suggestions:

1. Let the item name appear in addition to the overlay when hovering.
2. When changing layers or drawers, can that automatically apply? That way it's only searching that requires you to click or hit enter (I saw that suggestion somewhere and fully approve).
3. I actually don't mind how you collapsed the "more filter options". I don't change those -quite- as much, so that was a good solution.

I know you're still working on things but I just wanted to give some input about my experience with the new layout. My laptop screen is pretty small, and I have a hard time viewing a lot of pages because of it. This new layout is very cramped on my small screen and it makes it very un-user-friendly. I also have some white space between the HA and the items, and the filter section is so narrow, it is really frustrating to use.

I much prefer the previous layout. It was a lot easier to use, and definitely didn't feel as cramped or awkward. I hope the old layout comes back but if not, I hope the filter section will be widened and the white space removed.

Ah! This looks pretty good on my screen. It will take some getting used to but I think I can manage with this.

Edit: Except that there's 2 clear buttons, kinda redundant. The clear with wear and save and then the clear all right above the worn list.

edit 2: I suggest to get rid of the first clear button, keep the clear all above the worn list, then make the "save" button same size as wear onsite and make it say "save as outfit" or something? I've seen people confused about the difference between wear and save.

My post was just a few minutes too early... oops :P I definitely like this update a LOT more!! Everything fits on my small screen without it being cramped or awkward, and I am really happy about being able to press enter to search. Thank you so much for all your hard work! <3

this is a big change, but i think it looks nice. i really like having the previews next to each other.

does the wardrobe still tell you if you don't own an item? i'm not seeing it anywhere even when i'm clicking on cws or lifelike dolls i know i don't have o:

MUCH better. Same as it will take some getting used to just because it's different, but it's definitely better than the first change from earlier.

I like having the item previews right next to the HA again and the filters being open automatically instead of having to click a button to access the options. I'm just curious where the color options will go once those are eventually brought back, I guess underneath where it shows the item image of what you're hovering over? Anyway, much improved!

One thing I will point out, it's now showing the "Search Shops" button for all of the items in my wardrobe, even if I already own them. It makes it tough again to see which items I own in my wardrobe and which ones I don't when I'm viewing all items on site. I'm not sure if this is something that could be changed back again?

[edit]Editing to second what mentioned about the clear buttons and such. And also what mentioned with the update button, it would be nice to only have it be for name searches since that's where all of the stalling issues were coming from. Not sure if that's possible to do with the coding though.

This has a lot of potential! I definitely want to play with it a while and see how comfortable it feels, so....cool :)

The height of the page -just- fits on my window, so that's super for me. And at the width I like to keep my browser window, I no longer have weird crowding and stuff. Win.

The only thing I think I'm going to struggle with is having to hit "update" after choosing a new layer/drawer. I keep sitting there waiting for it to change and then realizing I have to do a thing. As I said above, would love to Name Search be the only thing that requires you to update/enter.

Would it be possible within the search shop area (or somewhere else) to indicate if the item we selected/put on isn't in our wardrobe? Right now there's no indication that we don't have a specific item in our wardrobe and I know there's been several instances that I've 'worn' an avatar and later find out I was missing an item or several. 😂

Omg I also just noticed that the "Skins" page now has a scroll box for all of them, instead of having to scroll all the way down the page and then back up to see the changes. Not sure if that was just done, but anyway bless you for that ~

i really like the previews being next to each other now, and that arrangement of filters is much better/easier to use (although i still don't like having to press a button to update it, but that's relatively minor and i'll get over it, aha). this also doesn't require much scrolling, which i adore ❤️ would definitely like the whole 'if you own it already, no shop search button' thing back but ofc if it's not working right, i get it! (i've actually never noticed issues with it though so it's curious to me that it wasn't? maybe i'm just lucky x3)
