Since my brain injury I am not good at expressing myself. It is in my head but comes out all wrong. So here is a poem for you

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low but the debts are high, And you want to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit... Rest if you must, but don't you quit!

Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many failures turn about When we might have won had we stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow... You may succeed with another blow.

Often the struggler has given up When he might have captured the victor’s cup; And he learned too late when the night came down, How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out... And you can never tell how close you are It may be near when it seems so far. So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

You are on my prayer list, every day I pray for you. I know how despair doesn't let that light in, but I believe it counts. I so wish we all could just blink our worries away. Wish I could ease your troubles for you Man!

- we are here...talk to us whenever you want...I don't have answers, I wish I did. Focus on breathing when things hit a peak of stress...sounds lame but honestly it can help just putting your thoughts to breathing steadily. Hug on your sweet doggie..dogs are the best therapy ever because they love so unconditionally. One step at a time you will get through this. Sending hugs ❤ and you are in my prayers too.

I wasn't going to admit this but seeing most all y'all figured me out .. there was a theme to what I sent. Did anyone figure it out? I'll give you a hint.. every one of them included things from Go Outside.

When you read the 'poem' dont think poetry, sing it to Jingle Bells. I'll admit it was a struggle at first which is why I got a late start (that second verse, how ironic is that?!) -- I was staring at my friends list and my eyes kept settling on the matching cake by Marreshaanns name. It took awhile to get beyond that. I had to remind myself that she didnt take time to feel sorry for herself, so I owed it to her to stop feeling sorry for myself. And when I was within 25 names away from being done.. my computer crashed. Which made me realize the irony was hilarious.

reading ehat yoj just wrote sunk deep into me as i read it..resonated whats going on in my life...just TAKE IT ALL BACK the power over your own life..dont let others take it away from you with making me fret n worry..i am speaking of my papa at this point/ what we all have is more than enough love to go around here smooching and hugging each other and for real we are friends the best you could ask for because WE dont overstay our welcom like others during the holidays hahahaha

, it was a beautiful theme and helped a lot to a shitty week I had, a so called friend showed her true colours and made the start of the week horrendous, so on too a new month and too new beginnings

we only have so much time in this realm and noone knows when that time will be up. We owe it to ourselves, to them, to make the most out of every moment. Sometimes things go sideways, or straight wrong and it hurts so much we forget that.

I went with adventure -- go outside and LIVE to remind myself of that.
