Aww, I loved your story!

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving where I live. To me it sounds much like Christmas, but then without presents :)

What a fun story! I could just picture it all! Thanks for sharing! My daughter , grandson & his wife came for Thanksgiving. They brought many Keeto appropriate dishes including a sugar free Pecan pie which was tasty to my surprise! Everything was yummy and turkey coma followed, lol. The next day we participated in Black Friday shopping too. What a crush!

Hi Bears :) I'm home from travels today and feels so good to be back.

- I loved what you wrote about Thanksgiving and family...so true for any family including the furry ones. I was in Thailand on Thanksgiving day and we had delicious vegetable curry and rice...and a hefty dose of family dysfunction...even on vacation. It was fun to read your story and be reminded that many families have similar troubles...felt good to laugh about it :)

= yes, the elephants were amazing...I am very afraid of heights and even afraid to ride a horse...I'm afraid to get on a ladder for crying out loud! :) I got right on that elephant...and it was not frightening but thrilling. We rode near some houses and a baby was crying...one of the handlers knew the family and started singing for the baby while we walked by (imagine living in a house where elephants walk by every day!) then we walked down to the river and rode into the water. Now I'm back home where everything is normal and can't believe it all happened!

: Sweetie, thank you for your kind remarks, we really had a great time. Though, we don't have Black Friday Shopping in our village. On Friday, we usually stay in and play games, sing songs, tell stories, or the children put on plays if the weather is cold or wet. If the weather is warm and sunny, we go on hikes, collect acorns, oak galls, pretty leaves and mossy twigs for decorating, sometimes we find mushrooms (Welly found a patch of truffles last year) and pine nuts. In years past, the males would all go out for a hunt on Friday and the females would tat, quilt, knit, crochet for Yule presents.

Your food all sounds so yummy! I could mail myself to your house for leftovers!

I participated in NaNoWriMo again this year (10th year) and completed another 50,000 words toward my new manuscript, Sabine: Bell Master. I finished 5 days early and I will continue until the 30th and earn my 30 day position badge.

I met a human woman who's sister is a renowned West Coast literary agent of children's literature, and I will set up an appointment to meet with her to see if she can help me sell my manuscripts. What is really ironic about this chance encounter is that, the whole series of my books about The Wheezles was started as a farce that lampooned The Chipmunks of TV fame. This human I met today is a cousin of Ross Bagdasarian, the creator of the Chipmunks, and when I told her what my books were about, she was very amused and eager to read them herself. Maybe it wasn't irony, maybe it's divine appointment.

is anyone else having problems with their HA showing up on their dashboard. I tried reseting ha in wardrobe and no luck. PLus I forgot what order your suppose to list the base, eyes, nose, and mouth, and are they listed at the top of the column or at the bottom and what order?

: Background is under the HA base which is on the bottom HA layer...eyes, mouth, nose next (it really doesn't matter what order) then hair. After that, your wardrobe items.
