I am here and I just came to the lair again to see if any one else was here ...how r you today have you gotten back into the time change that flight sucks I have been to Egypt 1 time but I never got off the plane we just refueled there and then went on to Saudi Arabia ... we went on a 27 hour flight with a few lay overs in there

Just barely getting back on track. Its been tough to change time twice in 2 weeks.

yea when we landed in Saudi after being on the plane forever we got off the plane found our gear and walked about 3 or 4 miles to where we were going to stay there was about 5,000 or more of us marching down the unpaved road .... til we reached where we going then had to set up camp man you talk about being fricken tired after being up so long and with all the jet lag it took like a week to get right again of course there wasn't much time for sleep with all the noise every night I was used to it though living near post every time a battalion went to the field you could feel the impact tremors

I would be so excited for another love truck adventure! The last time was pretty fun! Aubergine??? Wow!! I haven't heard that name in a very long time. Busy with school, that's good!

Morning to you! Here it is very humid, hot with showers, will be like this all week. And of course tomorrow I have an appointment in town and there will be possible flooding again just like the last time I had an appointment in town. At the very least I have a clear fold up poncho with hood I can put in my purse again. God I hate summer.

A very good morning to you too! I am so tired of the high heat and humidity here. We finally had to turn on our air conditioner last night at midnight just to be able to sleep. Humility was 84%. The Excessive Heat Warning doesn’t expire until late tomorrow night.

A nap sounds good already but I have to leave for my haircut appointment in an hour. Enjoy your nap!

: Hot and Smoky! Weldon and I are spending the Summer in Fresno with my author so we can swim in his cement pond (where there is still no fish). The smoke from the Ferguson Fire has really made life terrible in the foothills where our house is. Still, Fresno is in the midst of a record breaking heat wave and yesterday was 105 F and cloudy. CLOUDY! which made the humidity go up to 44% making it feel like 109 F (41 C - 45 C)

I'm glad there is some interest in a Love Truck adventure. It'll be simple so that those who are also doing Wayward Squirrel won't stress out.

I love hooded ponchos!! Floods actually sound good as we need moisture so badly!! Yes, naps all around!! Group hug back Oh, my! My parents and brother used to live in Oakhurst and they worried about fires quite often. They didn't have a cement pond but they went to the lake a LOT!!! My parents moved to Pacific Grove and my brother moved to Oregon!!!

Looking forward to that love truck adventure. I am glad it is lowkey as I go back to work on the 2nd of August and school starts on August 8!!

Careful what you wish for, LOL. Love ponchos too but this is just a plastic one for bad weather. Guess, I just don't like extremes in weather - but heat and humidity make it hard to breathe.

: We were at Pacific Grove last Wednesday, it was 62 degrees and foggy! (a 40 degree difference from Fresno) We had a wonderful time. If I had money (which I do not have) I would love to live in Pacific Grove or Monterey or Moss Landing (where Phil's makes the best cioppino in the world).

Weldon and I live at about the same elevation as Oakhurst and I love to go to Bass Lake to swim and fish. We were going to go there for the Fireworks this year, but it was too hot. We watched the fireworks in the Fresno neighborhood where my Author lives and we probably saw more fireworks there then we would have if we had gone to Disneyland, Bass Lake and Dubai combined.

I love PG too!! I wish I could live there!! We are in the process of selling my parent's home (they passed this year, stepmom, and last year, Dad) I so wish I could just buy it and use it as a vacay home but alas, there are 10 of us siblings and I would have to buy everyone out!! My grandma lived in Monterey and we LOVE going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium...the seals and otters live in their natural habitat and not in captivity. So fun!!! XO

, a shame you have to sell. My Dad had 9 siblings but didn't have to pay much to buy Grandparent's home from them.. perhaps if they can visit some they may be willing to sign it over?
