Hi I know Karen hears everything your saying to her, I firmly believe that so dont stop talking to your sister. Sometimes the one gift you can give is to be with her, and talk with her. Reassure her, your going to be all right in time and that your praying for her. Reassure her, that her family will be taken care of, she really needs to hear that. Read her scripture, that will put her at peace too. Spoiler has a beautiful poem I think you and Karen would enjoy.

I actually live in El Paso since 1985, my younger son is doing pre-med at Methodist in Dallas right now, and will go to Houston in June. I had to take my son some Hatch Chiles from New Mexico very popular in El Paso.

Thanks for the lovely words and / poem. I u sed to live in Amarillo, lived I about 45 minutes out of Houston growing up, lived for a time in Kingsville Texas as well. I was born in Midland Texas. A few detours.. four years in Francisco bay area, two years at Ft. Beginning, Georgia, A year in Ft Sill Oklahoma, and a year and a half in Missouri. I couldn't wait to get back to Texas.

I live in Amarillo, have since I was 8 months old. I was born in Dumas. I did spend about two years in Denton going to TWU, I hated it down there. Utterly humid, a sauna in the summer and freezing cold in the winter.

YW! That poem has spoke so strongly to me over the years. I lost my older sister in 2006. My hubby retired from civil service out of Fort Sill. So for the base names you gave, you or hubby are or were in the military. Hubby and I served in the army.

So I was at 51 days at the bathhouse and somehow missed a day. I was ON and playing and missed the bathhouse. good grief.

I haven't stopped the prayers and hope you get a last chance to talk to her yet she seems peaceful which is a blessing also.

What I remember is her falling down the staircase as Scarlett and her sitting on a crate and then actually getting stuck when it caved in so she couldn't get out and she was just cracking up. I laughed so hard.

I cant wait until sunday to watch her program.
