Right, a nice fuzzy long hair dog, that loves to snuggle and bonus he liked laying on feet, great for cold weather. I would have to send his sister Roxy, too.. They laid on feet together one on each foot, or the took turns laying on both feet. You imagine 150 lbs worth of dogs on your feet.

My old dog Zeus was an Afghan hound that weighed 85 pounds.He also liked to lay on my feet when i was in bed.I didn't get to move around much but i was warm too.

Well laying around Ringo could get complicated, because he would sit on your stomach or back right in the center. He was a furry paper weight. LOL

Yeah, I'm taking a break from my main medication so that I can pump up on immune boosters for a while and hopefully get this illness kicked and avoid a sinus infection or worse.

Well he left you no choice, plus my dogs consider myself and my middle son pack leaders, and dogs that are followers like laying near or on the leader of the pack. That I believe/hope is possible rest, eat balanced diet and take meds. In another words pamper yourself! HUGS

I didnt get to finish burning limbs from trees and bushes in my backyard, I am almost finished. But it was windy so I didnt get to do that, it can be dangerous burning anything with wind outside.Plus nice time to be outside and my 2 dogs love having me outside with them. I am excited one of my 3 sons is coming home tomorrow I cant wait. I got good picture of the dogs.

I have been going outside in a short sleeve shirt and jeans here in Texas, but suppose to get cold soon. Normally by now its cold and freezing at night.

I have never lived anywhere else but here in the Foothills of Central California. I've seen Monterey, Carmel, Fresno, Lodi, Sacramento, and San Francisco...but they were all a blur to me, I never felt connected in any way unless I was home. The world is a big place and it seems intimidating. But you seem to be taking it all in stride as if it was the most natural thing. Just an update on Karen. She has not eaten or drank anything since November 22. I am keeping her relatively pain free with morphine and calm with lorazepam. She is getting skinnier by the day. I have had to put oxygen on several times and is currently using oxygen. She has not fully woken up since the 22nd. We were hoping for at least one last rally so that we could talk to her and she could talk to us but it doesn't seem likely. I thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts. Truthfully, I could not have made it this far with this without all of y'all and other family and friends praying and encouraging. I ask for your continued prayers and good thoughts please. Karen is the closest person to me in this whole world. She has been my best friend since we were babies. We are only 22 months apart and she was always one grade behind me in school. I don't know how I'm going to live without her in this world but I know I will. Karen and my faith's strong and I know that God will take her to be with him when he is ready. He never promised us an easy life, or a life without pain. But he does promise us that there will never be any pain too great for us to bear. I know this to be true as I used to suffer with severe migrains and when the pain got too much for me I would cry out to God and he immediately began to lessen the pain. He is good and faithful like that. I am blessed in the fact that I know that she will be going to be with her earthly and heavenly fathers and that I will see her again one day when it is my time to go. So this won't be goodbye forever but only "see you on the other side".
