- I see I wasn't totally clear. There are lots of specialists (and, yes, it must have been horrendously expensive to see so many). I was trying to say - since your problem is so difficult - that you should see one of the couple of very top people in the field. Sometimes that can't be done due to distance or expense. But it seems like it would be worth a try if you can possibly manage it given your circumstances. Having had a doctor in the family handpicking medical providers for me for many years, I know just how much of a difference it can sometimes make. Even just something like knowing about the very latest drugs and/or techniques before everyone else.

I'm having a very nice Sunday, just relaxing, thank you.

Hope you enjoy whatever TV you are watching. Take care.

Yeah, distance and expense are definitely a part of it. It would be nice though. :)

Glad that you're having a nice Sunday!

Probably not my beeswax to stick my nose in here, but have you tried acupuncture/acupressure? We have great practitioners here who are actually licensed doctors from China and/or South Korea. Hubby had a terrible time when he injured his back and nothing worked until he went for a series of treatment. After just four, he was out of pain and hasn't had to return yet. Just sayin".

The scores will be going up on the official post in a bit, and everuone nailed the Shakespeare bit, but on the second part, here's what you can except from the judges.

Quote
We understand that the last part of the chapter created a meltdown for one team, and grumbling from another. However, since the event is a smaller venue within a larger one, the basis holds.

We did, however award partials, so we broke down the scores three ways:

Nailed It!
You got everything right! Well thought out rationale using the right base, correct selection of places to visit, and very well done role-play. Three teams fell into that category and were awarded the full 2000 points. (Gold Cup and rousing cheers.)

Well, Almost
Teams that fell in this category either missed the base and assigned items by another attribute such as themes or colors (which meant you ended up with the &;odd bit&; here and there, OR you had the base, but came to incorrect destinations for investigations. Either way, you also did a fine job of role-palying. Four teams were in this category for 1500 points. (Silver Cup and waving pennants.)

Better Luck Next Time
If you&;re here, you just floundered. While both teams had amusing and very good role-plays, you missed the base and even went to at least one wrong destination. However, the event goes on and there is much more ahead of you. Don&;t be downhearted! You still got 1000 points. (Bronze Cup and polite applause.)

A la Stan Freeburg's History Of The United States:

"grumble grumble grumble....mutiny mutiny mutiny"

Columbus : "What was that?" First mate : "Grumblings of mutiny, sir." Columbus : "Oh, yeah..."

giggle

Yeah, we totally floundered on that whole "voices" idea...just too nebulous for our ADHD-riddled concrete minds, that and RL just slapped the crap out of several of our members...But we will Stay Calm... and soldier on as best as we can.

- I know you said everyone got it right, but would it be possible for you to post the answers to Shakespeare? I'm wondering whether there were more than one accepted answer for a couple of them. Thank you.

By the way, thanks for the fun riddles and, hopefully, a calm week for all.

- waves hello. Thank you for getting all the scores worked out and posted. And Mee wants you to know she misses Cosmo, maybe he could come visit. :-)

You're welcome. Cosmo found some rather tasty insects in the hedge maze. He would probably want to go back there to feast some more. Maybe Cosmo and Mee can go sneak away together. Cosmo has a rather fetching cape and crown made of twigs now as well. He would quite like to show them off :)

- Mee can't wait to see his new outfit and is flying over right now. She will remember to land nearby and walk over to Cosmo so he's not jealous of her flying ability. I hope they have a great time hunting, feasting and playing while we solve riddles this week. :-)
