Okay...so I didn't think I had gotten that many but I guess I did. I'm thinking that quite a few of them are young adult so I'm not sure if I will get totally in to them since I have a hard time getting into young adult books. But they sounded good and was free...so obviously I "bought" them from Amazon. XD Now to just find the time to read. Gotta read these 2 books from the Dark Hunter world from Sherrilyn Kenyon first and read a book that gave me a few months ago. I think I have only read like maybe 2 books this year. Which is really bad. But when you have to help keep training new people and have to work all the time because of it...well...it makes it hard to want to read or even get on the computer. That's why we were lucky if I got on once a week. Then there were times I would only get on once a month. :/ Although I learned my computer didn't like the once a month thing and started acted screwy. So that's totally that a good thing to do. And also waiting on whatever books is going to soon be sending me. XD So whatever those are...those are also on my list to read.

I don't usually read on the computer. I used to mostly read paper books but then I got my Kindle and I read on that now: first I had one of the kindle keyboard types, then when its battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore I got a 'paperwhite' touch one. I hate the touch interface (prefer buttons) but the light is kind of nice. I only like the e-ink kind of screen to read on. The tablet/phone kind of screen is too hard to read in bright light... I like to read outside a lot when the weather's nice.

But an e-ink screen is nothing at all like reading on a computer. Much more like a book. And, as I get older, it's very nice to be able to increase the font size!

I do sometimes read on the computer, of course. But not whole books :D

Yes the books I have to send you are on your TO READ list on Goodreads. :) It is a series. I am not sure how many are in the series...but i got the first few in it :)

I should go read. I havent read in forevers.

so I posted 10 days earlier asking help on pet profiles and no one responded at all today I had an idea for a suggestion and they responded with... telling me it was a terrible suggestion BUT they'd help me with pet profiles! so in a way I feel like I got rewarded for doing the WRONG thing. I don't know if it bothers me or not, I think maybe it does, but ... ? confusingly ?

Also in completely unrelated news the author whose book I am reading that I mentioned to you all and got the book conversation to happen is now in book news about having got a million dollar contract to write more. So she's doing well.

OK it's very late/early and I am getting manic and should sleep. Because nothing good will come of me continuing to stay up and type things and be random

Alright, I know this is really delayed, but I kept forgetting to post this! Remember when I was telling you that I was laying travertine down in my entryway for a couple of days? Well I finally got around to getting a picture of it after it was completed. Here it is: I can't find the pic of the second half/other side - so you get just this half. LOL

Also it was my dogs 4th Bday on Sunday this past week!! My sister gave him a small griffin toy, which I love. He also loves it, although it is a smidgen too small for him. He LOVES toys that are at least half as big (or bigger) than he is. He has this one large pillow-like toy that he carried around and trips on as he runs around with it, it's precious.

Anyways this was just random because I finally remembered. I also have pic of one of the 3 cakes I made. I can't remember where I put the other pic. Maybe they are still on a camera... my brain acts like it is 99 years old (thanks to migraines) and my body likes to act 20 years young (for the most part).

Our shower seems to be leaking and it has stained our downstairs ceiling so it needs to be addressed like ASAP DX What size is your dog? Oh my goodness, water damage is the worst!! It's hard to get rid of and fix on ceilings too - I hope you can get to it before it creates problems with the structure of the house. Have you seen movies like, Money Pit, where bathtubs fall through ceilings? Things falling through the ceiling is one of my worst fears, relating to multi-storied living quarters. lol hugs In one apartment I lived in there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower and the landlord never would fix it. It ended up getting black mold in/under/through it and I could not see it developing for a long time. I started having breathing problems (I already have seasonal allergies and exercise-induced asthma) and could not figure out why I was feeling so ill. Then the mold spread out in a very visible way. Luckily, the landlord decided to fix the problem then. I hope you can get it fixed before anything like that.

I have two dogs but this one is a 37 lb brown (red) border collie. He fits in small to medium sized dog clothing. Here is a picture of him with a normal sized teddy bear. I have to try to get a pic of him with one of his larger toys. I usually only give him one or two toys at a time because the other dog rips them up in less than 15 min (it is her joy in life to pull stuffing out of toys). lol He likes to play with and cuddle his toys for months, until the other dog gets it and the toy find itself facing an untimely demise.

For the cake: I only have one picture of the cake right now (have not put camera pic on the computer yet). I hope I was able to get pictures of the other two cakes but I cannot remember if I did or not. :P lol This one was a pineapple upside down cake (two of them) that was supposed to be shaped and look like a pineapple. This picture shows the details and layering of the leaves, which is why the photo is aligned the way it is.

The sad truth is that I have migraines every single day, just some days are worse than others. Sunday and Monday were bad bad days. So far today is not so bad. I have to try a new medication today and I am really nervous about it since I have a history of reacting negatively to many medications.

yea, i think i will have a good hoard to sell when i get my GA in Nov. GoT is good so far, only got in 4 episodes and have to wait until hubby is home to watch more
