I saw! :-) I finished the book I really liked. "The girl on a Train" and now reading "12 Years a Slave" It's pretty good too. I really need to branch out and find other genres I like. I'm so bored with the same ole type of books.
I knew you had a good figure! We all have a few not so great spots. Although, these days most of mine not so good. But at some point I stopped caring about it. lol
well my bad spots make it a little hard to wear some nice things n-n

What books are we talking about? :) I'll have to check out Alanea Alder. I need some new authors. I think I'll be re-reading my Kate Borden trilogy too. Death of a trickster, Death of a tart and Death of a Turkey.
I feel like I'm already gearing up for Fall. My soul says it's time but my allergies are making a strong case that it's not time yet. Makes me sad. And a mouth breather which is not fun. I'm craving chili and banana bread and apple cider donuts. And lots of apples.
I'm well, thanks! How are you?
I don't do a ton of battling.. but I do the BQs daily!
yes, branch out, find new things, it's fun! I've heard of "The Girl on the Train" I think, vaguely, haven't read it or anything by the author. It's apparently going to be a movie soon? It can't possibly be the same genre with 12 Years a Slave though... so you like at least two :D
I don't read much historical black biography but I read one about Ida Wells that was very interesting a couple years ago called Sword Among Lions. She had a really interesting life.
As for the other one, a quick look says it was compared to Gone Girl and I read that... it was quite disturbing though! So I wonder if the Train one is disturbing like that? Let us know.
Hi it's nice to re-read old favorites, I think. I do that sometimes when I need a guaranteed pick me up :)
hey everyone...
someone anonymously got me a present! Thank you whoever it was! 💙
Well, I know Urban Fantasy isn't romance. It can contain it, but on its own, it's not romance. Urban fantasy usually takes place in present day. Because you can also have the whole historical paranormal which is usually romance. Then of course there's the sci-fi aspect of it too especially if it is future based.
lol. it's the only thing I will eat too, I think. XD I don't like mushrooms.
hehe. :D I've never bought figs.
BOOKS! And yeah, , go with Witchy's description. XD And me and her do read a lot of similar stuff. And yes, check out the Kate Daniel's series! :D But I've only read that series by them.
We have a local author that I think I am going to have to check out. It seems like it might be paranormal/fantasy but it is regancy. I can't think of the name she writes with at the moment but she has books on Amazon. All I can think of is her real name because she one of my former boss's daughters. But I was reading a description of her newest book (at least it sounded like it was her newest book) and it sounded interesting. But she lives up in Harrisonburg. (If you're still reading, Truffula, Witchy and I live in the same state and she's just south of me).
lol. Okay. I know Aldi's is actually a Germany bases grocery chain that is making it's way throughout the US.
Yes! I sort of know what 'paranormal romance' is (it's romance genre, with a fantasy, science fiction, type of element, yes? With the romance people being potentially some kind of supernatural creatures rather than basic humans...) but just 'paranormal' without being romance could be the same as some 'urban fantasy' I guess?
and too I guess, we have Aldi's near my house, it's been there a couple of years now. When it opened I bought a few things there, my co-workers said their stuff was good, but the things I got were terrible. The can of refried beans and the bag of marshmallows I got there were so bad we had to just toss them, not even edible.
Yep. That's basically the gist. Although one of the people in paranormal romance can be just an ordinary human though.
I've bought things from Aldi's which is better than name brand stuff. There's a few things that I will get that I will only get from Aldi's. Now I'm wanting to go there. And there's no room in the freezer or bread drawer. :/
yea haha ? Oh yay did we get to 1m quests? You were right about getting to the goal even without the time extension lol. I mostly want the referral point. :) thanks SR yay!! Also i wonder if these battle challengers are coming back xD sad I ain't strong enough for all! D:
Not to sore today. Took friday and sat off though lol. We walked the dog yesterday at least. Went and ran for 30 min today
Pretty good about to cook dinner and watch game of thrones :O
I just got into battling recently. You can level up fast :O I do BQ's too. I can usually get to 20 every day. I can't beat this darn turtle for the 10th time and I want the achievement!!
To each their own ^^ I like the pizza it is not your every day pizza :P
Idk we may not make it lol. Most people have already done quests. I mean we will since we have tomorrow but if we didn't :O
Saw you were talking about aldi I have had good and really bad experiences from there. I really like to buy fruit their cause its so cheap but it goes bad super fast D:
What tier is your main pet? I can get to 20 as well, but I can't get much past it. You can do it! I had to work hard to get my 10 wins xD I can't get even one on the wizard though.. oh well. Next year ;)
My main pet is tier 8 DX I luckily beat him 9 times but this last one he keeps freezing me like 3 turns in a row and I have to click continue ugggg lol!! Yeah the wizards I stand no chance XD
True. My normal everyday pizza is just pepperoni pizza. Unless I go to Ciro's. Then it's pepperoni and sausage. Everyone once in a while I get a craving for green peppers and onions to be added to a pizza.
I like alfredo sauce on all mine. My fave drink is tomato juice but I don't really like pizza sauce is that weird? lol I usually get sausage and mushrooms. :P
I'm that weird person that doesn't like alfredo sauce. My coworker makes fun of me because of it and she loves alfredo sauce. I don't like tomato juice. But pizza sauce is good. Although I also haven't had tomato juice since I was a kid. And I also didn't used to eat tomatoes. I can eat them now in stuff. But I like them sliced thin. I'm one of those really picky eaters but I do eat more now than what I used to.
Or if you're like me, even if I could wear certain nice things, I don't go anywhere to wear it. lol
Hi and welcome!! :-)
Kind of over Big Brother. I feel like I don't like anyone well enough to cheer for them.
Oh yes I read crime, mystery, biographies, mainstream stuff mostly though. The Girl on the Train is a movie, but I haven't seen it yet. I would say the book is psychological suspense basically. And it wasn't scary, but something about the way the story was told was identifiable to me. I think that's why I liked it so much. 12 Years a Slave just popped up on my phone and I don't remember ever buying it. Maybe it was free for a day and I grabbed it.
Was going to say I can't wait to get an Aldi's but after reading what said about them, I guess I'll wait! lol
Hey Di^2! :-D Pretty sure they'll be back.
Running for 30 minutes is really good and I think it's better for weight loss than lifting weights.
I wondered if it was just me. Paul will probably win...
lol. It does depend on what you get. I've had some things that weren't good and other things I go back for. I do get a good selection of german foods though. Especially around the time of ocktoberfest.
