Had a few seasonals in my wardrobe from a few years ago that fit the bill, the sugar plum wig is probably a grey area though.

What I would love if we could put together a list that includes CW or something.... not that there's a lot of natural curly looking cw items but they're bound to be some.

this one is closest to my hair irl (not color-wise, but texture-wise) without much product in it.

Sorry for letting this thread get a little outdated- I have started a CW list actually and I will make time this weekend to plug away at it, hopefully finish!

I'm adding and rearranging things now but the site going in and out, I'm gonna have to stop and call it for tonight. I'll give this list some love this weekend and get it where it needs to be again.

Finally updated the list, added some items I missed and arranged it so it's hopefully more practical and useful.

[edit] Omg, went thru 40 out of 118 pages of custom wearables and found like, four total curly hair styles. xD Possibly the least rewarding grinding I've done on this site possibly ever. I am determined to get thru them though.

(I could rant for hours about the issues with CWs. So many CWs would be great if they didn't turn your arms or hands white. What kills me is the ones that are coats where the original artist--who's no longer available, per the releaser, to edit them, or she'd put one out with gloves--chose to give the CW bare hands in base 2. Instead of putting gloves on the hands, which...would make sense, since it is a winter coat. Unfortunately what I hear over and over from releasers is that they want to do more bases, but they have to pay to make CWs and if people don't buy them, they lose money. I guess the question is how do we get more people to buy items that accurately represent people of colour, because it is kind of pathetic that it is easier to find anime coloured hair than natural hair.)

I feel you on the CWs. I try to get the ones I notice are usable on darker bases or have lots of skin tones available, when I have the csc. But I knew once they allowed pose changes there would be people who just add the palest hands and don't offer other options... it's a real bummer. :/ Still an improvement when the site itself had more clown wigs that natural curls, but I know we could have so many great & diverse CWs that we're missing out on now.

Oooh all nice items, great great great. :D I will add a "debatable" section for custom wears. Do you think could be listed there or would you rather it not be included at all? I feel like it's workable and I included a debatable/supplemental section just for this reason, but I do prefer items made with the intention of natural curls and texture be the primary focus of the thread.

If you feel it should stay, by all means you can keep it there. They are simple French braids and someone with textured hair would totally rock that style. It's technically designed after my own hair, which is a mix of my Native/Mexican/white straight/wavy/curly/frizz hair. But I also don't expect most anyone to know that just looking at a wig. XD
