Hello! I have a...unusual question but hopefully easily answered. There is a cw shop that is open, looks like you can still buy, but the shops owner has been frozen. Can I still buy from his shop even though hes frozen?

No better way to get an answer than to test it. You're allowed to, though, yes. I assume the transaction would go through and your CSC would just be lost to the ether

lol I was starting to think this was a question no one wanted to touch with a 10 foot pole. XD I figured that would be the only way to test it as well...but I was hoping maybe some staff member would go hmmmm good question...its definitely no where in the rules...so...we will have to see I suppose

You're still able to buy from frozen users' regular shops, I don't see why this is any different. If staff specifically didn't want you to buy from the shop, they probably would have taken it down.

Actually, a few years ago, I was told that we can't buy from user shops if the owner is frozen. Those shops don't show up in the Shop Search but I found a way to get into them via a feature that no longer exist. Long story short, I found some items REALLY cheap in a particular shop, but I was unsure if I was allowed to buy them or not, so I've made a ticket and I was told a big NOPE. I don't know if this applies to CW's shops. I guess the best you can do is file a ticket. :)

thank you...its hard to know, youd think they would block out the shops or something.... My husband has tons of things on his wishlist from them...so I told him Id make a forum post (he doesnt like the forums much) to get others opinions. SO I will make a ticket to ask...its a good question to know instead of having to write them to get the csc back.

Okay, but you said yourself that they don't (or didn't at the time?) show up in the shop search. Frozen users' CW shops do.
