"Thanks Niall." she hummed popping the first strawberry in her mouth. She chewed quickly and swallowed. "It's so juicy and sweet! You should have some too!" she gushed and plucked some more. Rosie skipped to the raspberry bushes further down in the garden.

((ooh congrats xD )) Niall tried one as he turned the same color. It was very good. He eyed her as she skipped, bun bouncing slightly along with the few stray brunette locks. He remembered Rosie said she'd had a recent birthday too. Maybe he could buy her a quill as well? A pretty rose coloured one maybe?

Merlin have heard Rosie's guess and he too agree it was the best guess so far. "I think you got it Rosa." He then says. "Hope you don't mind me calling you Rosa, it's the Spanish word for rose...I suppose you already know that." He smiles and gives her a plum. "I ate one and it was very juicy, you may want to try it." He continue checking the place and taking samples of different things. He then took an apple and gave it to Niall. "I have no idea if you like them but, these apples are special. They are golden and delicious, I've tried them before and are the best apples I've ever eaten."

Merlin realized his pouch was getting heavy, despite the enchantment so he wondered if he took too much. "Alright, when are we going to the next place ?" He didn't saw her. "Gaia? Where is my ice cream?" Still there were no signs of her. "I think she is not here." He sits on a box and sighs. "I want to go play with my pets." He kicks a rock and pouts wishing he could do both things.

[img align=left]https://sapi.subeta.net/shared/180911.png[/img] Rosie carefully picked a handful ripe looking raspberries. They were a dark pink and they looked juicy. One of them left a little pink drop of liquid on her finger tip which she licked off. She returned to Niall to share the berries and gratefully accepted the offered plum. "Thank you Merlin, I like the name" she addressed him as she held out her hands. "You should have a try of these raspberries too" she smiled.

It took a bit but the chattering of the others in the group finally pulled Drew from his musing. He looked down at the lists and scribbling he'd done and hastily closed the notebook in case anyone wandered over. A quick glance revealed that they were all occupied so he was in the clear. Standing, the boy dusted himself off a bit and went to rejoin the group, taking samples of some of his favorite fruits and berries along the way. It seemed that most of his friends had similar tastes and he smiled to see them enjoying plums, raspberries, and apples even as he added the same things to his bag. He was also glad that he'd used the past few weeks to study and practice more and had been able to successfully charm his bag so that one section acted as a cooler of sorts and kept the fruit he was putting in slightly chilled.

Drew returned to the others and said, "Is everyone's bag full yet? There are some really good things to eat here. I think I'll have to visit whenever I come to Hogsmeade." He reached over to pick a small cherry tomato and popped it in his mouth. "Mmm."

((I WANT MY ICE CREAM YOU CAN'T DENY ME! 😩 ))

Merlin nods and takes one raspberry, even when those were not his most favorite fruits. "It's good, I still prefer blackberries, but I didn't find any here." Then Drew joined them. "Oh welcome back! I didn't wanted to disturb you, did you tried the apples? They are my favorite in this shop but the peaches are as good."

((aww poor Merls...we'll find ice cream!))

Drew smiled at Merlin and said, "Thanks. Sorry I just kinda left, but I had some planning to do. And yes, I tried the apples as soon as I found them they are probably one of my top favorite fruits." Hearing Merlin mention blackberries, he said, "Oh, there are some here. I saw some earlier. Want me to show you?"

Merlin's face changed. "Yes, where are they? I thought I looked everywhere!" Blackberries are his favorite fruit and getting them for free was something he was more than willing.

"Nial, Magnus..blackberries!" Drew guided him and those who followed and Merlin didn't bother to wait, he quickly took one and pop it in his mouth. "MMMM" He really didn't care if his tongue will be blue after.

Magnus had fallen asleep curled up beside the apple tree, his bag a pillow.

Niall thanked Rosie and Merlin for the fruit. He hadn't collected anything save for things he'd been given. Sliding the fruit in to the nearly empty bag. He noticed Magnus wasn't collecting anything either and he wondered why. Drew reaproached the group yet and the shy boy just kind of stood there waiting.

Drew happily led the way to the blackberry bushes he'd discovered down a side path near the apple tree he'd been sitting under. He giggled as Merlin all but dove into the bushes and began picking the berries. "Hmm...you might want to save some for later, Merls," he teased with a smile. "Or maybe even share." As he watched Merlin, Drew commented, "I love the fact that the berry bushes are all thorn-less too. Makes picking them so much easier. And I'm sure it helps speed things up during harvest too so that they can have a big supply for the customers."

Drew turned from Merlin and noticed that Magnus and Niall weren't with them. He waved to Niall to join them but then saw Magnus curled up on the ground. Shaking his head, he went back and nudged his friend with his toe. "Wake up, Sleeping Beauty," he teased lightly. "I'm so not kissing you though!"

Niall came over, looking shy.

It took a few nudges to wake Magnus who looked around with a yawn. "Good cos if you kissed me I'd turn into a frog," he said sticking out his tongue.

Drew made a face at Magnus. "Doubt it," he said with a grin. "It would probably turn you as handsome as I am."

Smiling at Niall, Drew said, "Do you like blackberries? I showed Merls where the bushes were, but there might not any left if we don't hurry." He chuckled.

(gotta head out for a quick mo)

"I'd still be downgrading," he said with a snicker and stood up. He stretched backwards--inadvertently showing his flexibility. "Are we going yet? I were dreaming of ice cream for some reason."

"I do, sir," he said twisting his hands nervously.

Drew stuck out his tongue at Magnus' teasing but then said, "I think we will be leaving soon, though we have a bit more time to fill up our stomachs and our bags. And Gaia said we could have a break soon to wander about so we can go get ice cream and also go back to the book shop."

As Niall called him sir, Drew hid his startled reaction, not wanting to upset the little boy. "Niall," he said kindly, "my Mum would love you and your manners, but I'm not old enough to be a sir. How about we just be friends instead and you call me Drew, okay? Friends call each other by their first name and I'd much rather just be friends...if you'd like." He gave Niall a hopeful smile.

Add a preserving and cooling type of charm to that and the fruit would stay in pristine condition. She followed Drew to the blackberry bush. Luckily some ripe berties were still left. Merlin hadn't eaten all of them yet. Before there were none left she plucked a small amount and added them to her box. It was now filled with strawberries, raspberries and the new blackberries. Rosie searched for more berries and found some delicate blueberries as well as sour bright red currants. She picked a few of each and closed her box. These would make a delicious pie filling or just a lovely and healthy snack. "I'd love to get some ice cream. Do you think they'll have pistachio?" Rosie asked the boys. "I should probably check if the book shop has some violin books. I'm sure they'll at least have something music related." she added.

Smiling at Rosie, Drew said, "I'm pretty sure they will have both the ice cream and the books. From what I've seen so far, there's not much that Hogsmeade doesn't have. I love it here. I like Diagon Alley but this isn't as crowded, both with the buildings being so close and with the people. It will probably take me a while to decide on what flavor ice cream and if you take me to a book shop, I'd stay until someone either runs me out or drags me out," he grinned. "Even with a list I can happily spend hours just looking."

((I blame everyone lol I had to go get fast food for dinner and ordered a fruit cup lol been CRAVING fruit ^.^)) Ice cream sounded good. Magnus hadn’t eaten much yet and was thankful no one had noticed though he was sure eventually someone would.

Niall smiled shyly. “S-sorry. I-I’d like that.” He picked a few blackberries and sampled them. He also smiled at the bookshop. “I-I can help you looked for some advanced books, Rosie. What’s Ice cream? Is it frozen clotted cream?”

He had a couple in his hand, while the gift bag that Magnus handed to him hung from his arm. He slowly made his way over a raspberry bush and decided he wanted a few of those too. However, as he picked one, it made a loud rude noise like someone blowing a raspberry.
