"I know what you mean," Drew smiled at his friend. "My first time I just froze and stared for like five minutes. I only moved because Bridget shoved me and even then I would walk a few steps and then stop to look around again. It never gets old. I love going there at different times of the day too because it always makes it a slightly different experience."

"I think we spent all day," Magnus laughed, "cos mum and dad were 'aving too much fun watching me and showing me everything. We didn't even get through all of the shops on the first time."

Drew laughed. "I could have happily stayed all day and all night, but we met my uncle and his family and things got rather complicated as to who wanted to go where. When we went back later, it was just me and Mum and we spent hours in each shop...and made it through like four," he grinned.

"Well, you'd not wanna stay all night, after all, you'd wanna sleep," Magnus said grinning. "Both those trips sound wonderful."

"Well I would be fine sleeping somewhere in Flourish & Blotts," Drew said. "I could fall asleep reading."

"The only problem with that is what if you drool on an expensive book? I'm sure there's a clause you drool on it you buy it."

Drew snickered and gave Magnus a friendly shove. "I don't drool," he declared. "And nope I've never seen a sign saying you have to buy it if you drool on it."

"Its not like they'd put signs up," he eyed Drew suspiciously, "but that you looked for them proves you went in with intent to drool."

Merlin was listening while smiling and Tamsin pushed him from time to time to see if he didn't trip, and luckily so far he has stayed away from the ground. Then he remembered something. "Do you guys want to see a puffle?"

"A what?" Tamsin wasn't thinking straight, she was really tired and dreaming of a bath.

"Puffskein! There is a group around that corner." He pointed to the other side they were heading and Tamsin rolled her eyes. "It's just a few steps, really! They are still very small- it's so cute, we must check on them"

"No Merlin, I had enough of creatures and exploring for one day." Tamsin was exhausted.

"It's just over here, come on!" And without listening to reasons, he went to find the little creatures, their yellow fur was clean and soft. "See? They are super cute, I thought I might keep one, but they are in family so I shouldn't take them apart." He smiled and took a piece of bread from his pack. "Here you go, hungry? Do you like them Drew? Mag?" He saw a girl peeking and addressed to her too. "Roree? Do you want to pet one?" Merlin had one in hand and it was humming softly. "Aww, it's adorable."

"You know," Magnus said with a smirk, "their favourite food isn't bread. They like ta eat buggers when their owner is asleep at night. Just slides up to your nose and slips its tongue in." He looked at the big ball of fluff and shook his head. "They don't do anything aside from that really..."

"You can't prove it. I'll never admit to it," Drew said, sticking his tongue out at Magnus and laughing at the thought of being questioned for intent to drool.

As Merlin mentioned the puffskeins and then led the way to them, Drew grinned and said, "Come on, Mags!" He followed Merlin and was glad that he had. "Aw, they are adorable!" he said excitedly. "we can pet them and play with them?"

Merlin laughed. "I know, but I won't feed them that..especially in front of you guys. It's quite disgusting." He stands up and smiles. "But they do eat bread too."

"Yes you can pet them, they like it!"

"Disgusting yes, but the only interesting thing about 'em really." He shrugged his shoulders, staying put and keeping his hands in his pockets. "You lot 'ave at 'em."

"Oh gross," Drew said. "I remember reading about them now. and Mum had one as a kid." He knelt and scooped up a puffskein. Holding it in his hand, Drew stroked the soft fluff and grinned as it began humming.

"Guess they might 'elp you if you've got sinus problems. You should get one Drew, bet your sister would love playing with the thing. They sell 'em at Hogsmede, pretty cheap I think and in various colours."

"Really? That would be so cool," Drew smiled. "I think I'll do that, though I like this little guy...um...or girl. How do you tell them apart? Or do you?" he wondered.

Tamsin was annoyed and simply grunt before saying. "Can we go now? Those things are quite boring if you ask me and I'm to tired to care for them at the moment. I'm trying to think what I will tell Appoline when we return and especially how to explain a man was eaten by a student. I will probably be in big trouble for this, so I do wish to hurry to my exile."

Merlin felt bad and apologized. "Sorry, I won't delay us any more." He looked apologetically to Drew and took the puffskein to return it to the others. "Let's move then." He then adds. "I will put a good word for you in front of the headmistress, but I will probably be in trouble too."

"Why? I was in charge and blew it."

"Er well they are so furry I don't know if you can see their bits..." he blushed, "Maybe the shop owners would know?"

"Tamsin," Magnus tried, "I don't think you blew it. And I don't think anyone else will either. Plus you'll 'ave Paul's report--when 'e wakes up that is..."

Drew relinquished the ball of fluff to Merlin and then frowned at Tamsin. "It's not your fault," he said. "You might be an adult but you're not all powerful. You can't control everything and everyone. People make their own choices...some are right and some are wrong." He moved closer to Tamsin and slipped an arm around the auror. "don't blame yourself for their choices...please."

Merlin was thinking about Drew's question and then said. "I don't know if they have gender to be honest, but if they do..I have no idea how to tell them apart, they are all a ball of fur."

Tamsin scratched her head. "It's not so easy Magnus, some things are expected and I did a lot of things wrong. I should have never leave you guys alone, but then Paul would have been killed by bees or worse, turn into a squib."

Tamsin let Drew put his arm on her and then sit down. "I'm just so tired."
