Happy Feh-versary everyone. Events seem fun this year and I really like the idea of how they’re giving away the free units this year.

I got STiki for my free summon on this round’s special heroes. I’m hoping to summon red or blue on the round.

Am I one of the few who's actually very happy to pull him even with power creep making him bottom of the barrel right now? - didn't have him and was so bumbed on not having the first year's easter units until the rerun last year-

I'm using Bunny Xander right now for TT, he requires some investment but he's a lot of fun. His def and res aren't too bad at all and so he's good for tanking - I've given mine Bonfire, SS3 and QR3, and it takes a lot to kill him, and when Bonfire goes off there's not a lot that will survive.

I got NY!Camilla for my free summon, picked red since I had none of the 4 red seasonal heroes (though picking blue was so tempting for a chance at Summer Corrin). I don't know yet what I'm going to pick for next banner, probably blue or green looking at the list of the heroes I miss. Also got a 5* Libra on my free summon for the BHB rerun banner, not too bad XD

I can't believe it's been two years already, I never played a mobile game for this long! Haha Also it's so nice they did a new castle layout, I hope they will do some more for other seasonal events!

And dragonflowers seem interesting, I'm just kind of bummed that only infantry can get the +2 stat boosts. Good recent infantry units like Lewyn or Ophelia can get +2 to all stats, but cavalry/fliers from first generation are stuck with +1 only...

I'm also taking note that he's a blue lance compared to normal Xander and last I checked there's not many Xander alts in the game right now.

Granted there are better Blue Lance Calvary units now but it's nice for me to have another decent one besides Camus and Berkut for maps when they come in handy. Especally if his stats or boon/bane make him better for certain maps then the others.

I got Winter Chrom for the free 5* thing. I wanted to summon colourless, but didn't get any colourless orbs, which is kinda BS tbh. At least I didn't get spring camilla again.

- Fair, but it'll probably be Eirika, which will make me sad :(

happy fenniversary! 🎉 had two colorless orbs, got halloween jakob... i hope that other orb wasn't a summer frederick :p got my fingers crossed i get a red orb on the next one for one more chance at hrid, prince of scams... i'm voting for summer frederick for the voting thing that starts tomorrow, too, i don't really care who wins. i just gotta clean house so i have room for all these free rolls o;

yeah, any popular female unit with a couple of alts is going to catch hell during cyl. it's stupid and annoying, and my least favorite part of the whole thing tbh.

Hmm, so the new update is coming, and Oboro and Hinata are getting refines :D I've already maxed out my Oboro HM but will be keen to see her weapon anyway. Hinata too, since I've been wanting the replace his Wo Dao with something else anyway. Also excited to see what they do with Seth, Nino and Niles.

It looks like the older units won't be able to earn as many dragon flowers as newer units which seems a bit obtuse to me... older units need the stat increases more than the newer ones but I'll wait to see it in action first.

I got a free Genny on today's banner, that's my first ever Genny so I'm pretty happy. (and to boot she is +atk -def, so pretty much perfect :D)

I thought of you when they announced the second seasonal banner (hee, Prince of Scams) so fingers crossed you get a red orb, and then Hrid is behind it. I reckon he's got a fairly decent chance of being the top ranked red hero too :3

i wanna wait and see how it is when the feature is live next week, but i think the logic is that you are likely to have more older units? so you can get a lot of flowers with them immediately after the maps are available. whereas you're not likely to have some of the newer ones, so they should reward more. otoh i can see why it looks like a cash grab so i'm very eh about it right now.

- Ooo nice pulls. I've gotten nothing but junk so far for the anniversary events (other than Christmas Chrom, although, his IVs are the worst.) My Nephenee is also crappy IVs. -Def +res I think. She's still pretty solid.

Okay so according to the news today, the hero we get at the end of the month is going to be completely random, I.e we don’t get to pick which colour we want. I try not to be salty but this seems kind of off to me?Im sure our Feh Channel implies we could pick, so why bother splitting the vote if we can’t have some choice?.

I think I’m gonna send feedback. I don’t mind random holiday heroes but I don’t see the point of doing a vote and then not getting the hero you want. It also sets a dangerous precedent for CYL 3 so I hope they are not moving away from that.

- Yeah, it's rather dumb, but they want our $$$ so they are going to tempt us with the promise of a free one, but make us spend our monies when we inevitably get the one we don't want (my friend is predicting Surtur for green, and she is usually pretty good at these things, so eww.) I don't know how it's going to work, like we are guaranteed a 5* on one of the 5 orbs on the first summon?

apparently the japanese feh channel explicitly says the find-and-vote unit is random, and the english one tap-dances around it with some nonsense line about surprises. i wonder if it's because they don't want to give up a really good unit like legendary ike last time?

Hey, everybody. Sorry for being away for a little while. FEH hasn't been catching my interest as much as it used to, especially since I got back into playing Dragalia Lost, but I'm still kicking. That said, my body is SO ready for that Hinata refine. I'm slowly, but surely merging my wildly tanky samurai boy, and it's nice to see that he's getting a PRF soon. Hope Hana will get one as well soon enough.

Aside from that. how are you guys doing?

- It's cus in Japan the fans are smart, of course they vote for the best units, even if it's not their favourites. It's like when there was a poll years ago for people to vote for their favourite pokemon and they would give it for free in game with it's hidden ability, Japan voted for Mewtwo, NA got Charmader :P Maybe they want to keep us dumb so that we screw up the japanese people's votes. lol.

- I may consider building Hinata if his refine is good. I have enough of him in my barracks to make him +10 merge if I ever decide to build him. Overall not one of my favourite units, but this game doesn't want to give me the units I actually like. OTL

Hrm, trying to decide if I want to spend 126k feathers to make my Eliwood +6 for the arena so that HE can kill the green armours instead of Eirika so that I can score higher. Fjorm does a good job taking care of most red and blue things, but Eirika has to save her from Surtur and Sheena, Eliwood isn't as good support as Eirika, but with some investment he could be. He would score about 4 points less cus Cavalier though...

I'm sort of hoping we get a free summon circle (as with the holiday heroes) and then at least you kind of pick? I've seen some people try to get clarification and I'm really not sure what is happening so I guess we'll see.

So far I've voted for LMarth, LHector, Leanne and LAzura. I hope Surtr doesn't win :X

Am really quite enjoying seeing the flaws and assets on this latest update. I can wondering what my thought pattern was behind merging two 5* Reinhardts that ended up with a +res version.

Really like Oboro and Hinata's refine, and am tempted by Nino's and Tharja's too. Poor Seth though - I hope they give him a badass alt soon.

In other news... the RNG gave me a free Hector this morning, talk about pleasant surprise. He'll be DC fodder but I really can't decide who I'd want that to be. I remember I didn't get any 5*s on the 6 month celebration last summer so this is a very nice turn around.

- My +4 Rein is also +res, but that's because literally every other reinhardt I've summoned is +spd. (That's a lie, I do have one neutral one atm, trying to decide if I should use that one or not instead)

Yeah, I gave Nino her new tome + eff right away. Hinata's is a little meh, not good enough for me to want to use all the random Hinatas I have in my barracks for merges. Didn't look into what Oboro or Seth got. Tharja I might do, but she needs more SP first. I haven't used her since like the 2nd or 3rd month playing. lol. The Durandal upgrade is nice, which is also why I'm thinking I should build Eliwood. Death Blow + Death Blow + Swift Sparrow, not too shabby.

Congrats on spare Hector! I got another Fae for my merge project. She's now at +5! w00! Yesterday I got Surprise Lewyn from the Lilina/Roy/Cecelia banner, that was nice, too bad he has shitty IVs though (+def-spd >.<)

Managed to get a valentines unit pretty quick ( Greil funny enough) so I'm a happy camper as it allows me to focus on useing my google play in other things this month

- Congrats! I also managed to get one pretty quick, Soren, with bad IVs though >.< He won't be very useful for the arena. I'm still going to try for Ike though.
