finally got a moment to do all my grand conquest battles... ended up rank 1, x: (i still have to finish some october quests, too... eep!) aversa's battle was fun~ i was determined to do all three levels with fred + rein, so infernal took a few tries. ended up going with bridal ninian and elincia as their partners for that map, mostly because elincia has galeforce. aversa is all promoted and merged now, i'm very excited to build her! (now i just gotta wait semi-anxiously for the legendary banner trailer. if it's not hrid i'm going to dump orbs into trick or defeat 'till i get a better vampire henry or my last morgan >:0 )

Yeah I'd say it's a big dump stat for current unit distributions - most hover around the early 40s so being able to pull her up to 53 with the blessing was big. For stuff like Abyssal - not gonna be useful - but really did like it with the Conquests (ended up rank 3 twice in a row, whoo) and she's strong enough as a mage flier that she can still get kills when necessary. I could leave bulky armours to other units in my squad, like WF!Hinoka or S!Camilla with Gronnblade+.

Haha yeah I only ever really burn 'em for Voting Gauntlets, otherwise can usually make deathless without and that's good enough for me. I was lucky enough that all survived on my crown run so didn't have to go through it a bunch of times, just the once.

And sure, thanks for the tip! I have a +Atk -HP Clair which is kinda perfect! Going to promote and train her today to at least dip my toe in. Not sure what her final build is gonna be but I'm excited!

So far havn't gotten any of the new Heros but I got Elise ( who I only had the Summer version of) and a 4* Silas and a 4* Nanna who I also lacked.

- She might be a bonus unit in the arena next week too, and she'll get even more of an HP boost then. Should be interesting. I think I will promote her. I'm sitting on almost 260k feathers after grand conquest, and none of my merge projects are giving me merge fodder atm. I still need to beat her on infernal though. Gotta get that +2 merge for arena bonus. lol.

- Congrats on your new units! I gave up on the new banner after 120 orb, nothing new, no good fodder, just going to assume my luck will continue to be shit so I'm saving my orbs now. Wasn't supposed to spend orbs anyway, none of those new units were in my list of units I'm allowed to spend orbs on.

Forging bonds is.... weird. I dislike both Aversa and Loki, really, they can both go die in a fire. lol. Loki especially. These conversations are just .... cringe Thank goodness for Kilff. OTL I hope Kilff drops to 4*, he was my favourite from Echoes, but doubtful any of these three will drop.

this is like farfetched heroes 2 and that didn't have any demotes, so i'm assuming this is also a no demote banner... i'm hoping i'm wrong, p; i just started forging bonds so all i've seen is the intro, but i think i'm going to be agreeing with you soon. loki and aversa together are... a bit too much. kliff and owain are a good pair though, haha

I did get my 3* Aversa to 5* recently so her and Ganon can level together later when the two Braves, Katarina and Laegjarn are done -leveling them threw Forging Bonds-

The new voting gauntlet is cool (though part of me was like, hey, Linde is a light mage what are you talking about). I did a few pulls on the females banner because of the huge chance to hit a 5* - took me a little working through but ended up with a spare Linde! She's +Atk -Res compared to my +Spd -Atk current - might actually keep the current maybe? She hits 42 speed with Fury which is kinda amazing and it'd hurt to give that up - plus bladetome typically gives her enough power when necessary. And I also pulled an Effie, yay! Really happy to get a merge on her.

And yeah I doubt we'll get any doubts, unfortunately. I've really enjoyed Kliff's conversations despite him not really standing out when I played SoV? Kinda makes me wanna pull for him; the marketing strategy is working, huh.

140 orbs in, and still no Owain or any focus unit on Brave Redux. I think the game hates my guts. I know my luck is poor, but this is the poorest luck on any banner I've had to date. Ironically, this was the first time I saved up to 100 orbs for the first time ever in this game, and it got me nothing. Shoot me now...

We all have that banner. ;o; For me it was Spring Kagero, think I blew through at least 300 for her. Hope your luck turns around and if not, there will always be another banner!

I passed on the Brave Redux banner and poked a little at the New Power banner in hopes of an Innes (I wanted to try his refine out) but sadly no Innes for me. I also poked a little more at the Halloween banner because I was bored and came out with a Flora. I also 5*-ed my Aversa pretty much straight away because red flying mage.

I normally enjoy forging bonds, but not so much this time. The accessories are pretty fun though, and I am enjoying the auto-equip (who knew Sothe looked so pretty in a maid's headband?)

The new TT banner was very sweet to me, I got a Jagen and another Ishtar - this one is +spd -res. This is my third Ishtar, funny to think after getting naff all on her original banner... my other ones are +atk -def and +HP -res. Not sure if I should train that one up and merge the others into, or keep them around for Swift Sparrow fodder.

Really not sure were to focus on at the moment? I have a fair number of feathers so I'm tempted to start a new project - I'm eyeing up Roderick or Jorge, but I also need to finish my merges on Cordelia, Nino and Roy (should probably train Roy). Part of the reason I wanted an Innes was to build an anti-dragon team, but I also want to try and build around my -atk Lute as well. She's +res so thought she'd be fun to run some ploys and debuffs rather than having her as purely offence, but it turns out most of the skills I would want to try are locked behind 5* units.

I hope you get some luck soon! It's awful when a banner doesn't give you anything at all (Exalt Chrom and Flying Nino I'm looking at you) or only after an obscene number of orbs (hello Ares) as long as they're in the regular pool there's always a chance (some of my most wanted units ended up being pity breaks)

Congrats on tier 21! Also thanks for the advice on Myrrh, that is good to know. I want to build a dragon team (eventually, hopefully) so just have to decide on some friends for her.

- I quit after 120 orbs, it wasn't a nice banner to me either. :(

- I'd use her for Swift Sparrow, unless you lack a powerhouse blue mage, but I don't think she really needs merges to perform that role anyway. (also, nice sunset shimmer, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw that wig too!)

New Banners were good to me, smoke got me nothing, but I got 5* reinhardt (NOT + SPD! -spd in fact) and 5* Shiro. Nothing new, but 2 5s out of 3 free summons, I'll take that.

i think at this point i am legally and morally obligated to be for the gauntlet. i hope he does well~ i have to change my lead though. should put up someone with better res. i'm on pins and needles waiting for the trailer, if it's not hrid (or if it's hrid but he's armored, bleh) i might actually be upset, :p i've never been so invested in a banner before, hah.

i guess it depends on what you need/what you have available, but if i was going to fodder ishtar, it'd be for odd attack wave instead of swift sparrow since that's harder to get o:

- I feel like now that I have him, I probably should, but I kinda want to join Ishtar cus she's a badass. I didn't really pay too much attention to who was on the banners. No Ilyana, so why do I care? lol.

- Oh yeah, the odd attack way too, Ishtar comes with good skills (don't kill her for vantage though lol) Your Cordelia could probably use swift sparrow, but Nino could use odd attack wave too. I've encountered odd attack wave Nino on the arena, she hits like a train.

Congrats on the pulls! Shiro is a good boy (he's back on my team at the moment, killing a fair amount... he's one of my favs). Hah, I have a mountain of Lon-qu's for vantage so Ishtar is safe in that sense. Hmm... time to look up some builds, I hadn't really considered the wave skills. For the longest time I never pulled anyone extra with Swift Sparrow so I feel like I have a mini supply now.

Think I'll go Team Ishtar for the Gauntlet as well.

Things are a little quiet at the moment, it's that awkward lull before v.3 comes out. Still think we might get a Feh channel between the legendary banner ending and the new heroes coming in.

- Yeah, -spd +def should do much better than -att +res OTL. I just don't know if I want to merge them, or give someone Def Tactic. I don't much use the tactic skills, but that's because I feel like they are all on Infantry, which isn't incredibly useful when you need to run mixed for them to work.

Yeah... Eirika. Blah, I still don't have mage erika, or finished merge of my OG Eirika, and now she's power creepin' herself again. At least she is a very different unit than OG Eirika, OG Eirika shines when playing with others, Leg Eirika wants to do everything solo. I do need a bunch of the other units on the banner though, so I might do a few colourless and red pulls (ugh, stupid Grima STILL in there for the colourless though)

and i can't lie, i was tempted when i saw m!grima but then i remembered my 12% on l!hector's banner and immediately decided i can wait for a better banner for him ;>> and i'm definitely not touching colorless until f!grima is off the banner :U

Yeah L!Eirika is a bit... yeah. Her art is the nicest of her three iterations imo - I always think her hair looks weirdly stiff in her SM art - and I like that her skill set reflects a different play style, with her coming out from under her brother's shadow (though Eph still stole the final kill when I played through her route, lol). But yeah, it's a skip from me.

And lol @ them having to announce the timelines for RD and BB. To be honest a lot of the major players are in the game from BB already - I believe it's widely considered to have one of the least balanced casts - and there's barely anyone relevant to add from RD outside the Dawn Brigade so we'll see. In my head I'm like beasts, maybe? I really think they're coming with 3.0. I guess they'll launch with the four from Fates given their popularity then maybe we'll get the Tellius ones with the RD banner. But it's really unclear what's gonna be PoR and what's gonna be RD. I dunno, it's a mess haha.

Oh. I'm not sure why, but I'm a little underwhelmed by L!Eirika. Her art is really pretty but it does feel very similar to her other incarnations. I do want regular Innes, and I have none of the heroes in the colourless pool right now... but I don't have too many orbs to snipe properly so maybe another time. Just glad it wasn't another armoured dragon or something.

- +def is great for him, give him Quick Riposte and he's golden :D

- A friend of mine found a list of the top popular units from CYL that aren't already in the game and The top 10 are ALL beast units, so I'm hoping beast units, although, Dawn brigade is also overdue.

- Yeah, -att version has QR 2, I do have a 5* Tsubaki I could feed the new one though if I don't merge them.

- Yeah, leg. banners are tough, I feel like the 8% rate is a lie anyway, just to get you to spend orbs.
