Eirik's eyes suddenly hardened, and his face grew cold. "Not something to even joke about, Magnus, " he said, with an icy tone.

Was the color comment on purpose? Fade wondered. “Me?” He asked in a completely innocent tone. “Never, I’m a perfect snowflake. Everyone knows it.” () He pushed his nose up with one hand and held out his pinky on the other. “Proper just like mummy taught me.” He could only keep a straight face for a couple seconds before laughing. “But really, that's about it. Peeves caught me. He’s a total weirdo, can’t ever tell whose side he’s on.” Saying it out loud reminded him why he didn’t tell them in the first place. How lame was it to get told on by Peeves. He felt his face getting warm.
"Does this guy like waffles or what. I think I know what I'm gettin you for Christmas." () It was an admirable thing to watch, but he hoped it wouldn't also involve holding his hair while he barfed them all back up. Nah, he would let Eirik do the honors. ()
Drew had momentarily forgotten the other boys were actually a werewolf and a vampire until Magnus' comment. The quick change in Eirik had him wondering how he could defuse the situation since it was darn sure not one he'd ever been in before. He was about to comment when Fade piped up and answered the question about the fireworks. Hopefully that would do the trick, Drew thought to himself. He smiled at Fade's pretending to be posh and proper. "I haven't really had to deal with Peeves yet," he said. "Guess I'm lucky. I didn't know he'd tell on you. And with him being a ghost, there's no real way to retaliate I guess."
The smile went away fast and Magnus lowered his head. "I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't...I'm sorry." He didn't mean anything by it but he'd upset him again. In truth he'd be lost without Eirik now. They were blood-brothers. You know what? he thought, so what if people think we are a couple--we know we arent. Magnus slid himself over and hugged Eirik. "It was insensitive and I really am sorry," he whispered. He lingered to see if his friend felt better...
As Magnus apologized to Eirik, Drew felt a bit sorry for the younger boy. But then he smiled as Magnus moved to hug Eirik. He was glad to see how close the friends were. It was what he'd thought of when he dreamed of Hogwarts...friendships that could endure through anything. And he'd become a small part of that. Drew wondered if he'd be lucky enough to ever develop a friendship as close as what Magnus and Eirik obviously shared. At least he was a bit closer now instead of on the outside looking in and he knew that things couldn't and wouldn't happen all at once. He'd enjoy being included in things as much as he could.
((ooc - Got to head to bed, everyone. I should have gone over an hour ago but I was having too much fun. Thanks for rp-ing with me!!)
Sauvage watched Magnus () and Eirik () make up from another friendly spat. She smiled at Drew (), recognizing his comfort and admiration for the friendship the two boys had - it was something Sauvage often did, too. She did a double-take, though when she realized Fade () had finally spilled some more info about his detention adventure.
"Fade," she said, almost in a chastising tone. "You did not tell me that it was Peeves 'oo caught you." She thought on it for a minute, trying to figure out why he wouldn't want to tell her. "Were you embarrassed by it? I don't understand?" She laughed then. It started as a giggle but grew to be loud and uncontrollable. "There is no need to feel embarrassed. Peeves does tings that do not always make sense."

Eirik was surprised to see Magnus's reaction, and when Mags hugged him, his anger drained away immediately. He hugged the boy tightly. 'I know you were just joking, but let's not joke about killing each other, ok..?" he said softly. "You are my brother, always. " Then he let him go and smiled at him, letting the love he had for him show in his eyes. "I'm still gonna steal your waffles, " he said, and chuckled.

"Deal," he said. "I am sorry." The idea of him gone hurt and he understood why it had upset his friend. "Go for it," Magnus said, "I'm full."
Magnus sat back in his chair, picked up his book and started drawing waffles on the shark's tooth.
(( ooc yep its Eirngus LOL ))

Eirik sighed inwardly, then grabbed Magnus's plate. He started to eat the waffles. wondering if had won after all. Then he looked at Mags and smiled. 'yes, ' he thought, 'yes he had.'

Magnus saw that sigh and snickered. He knew Eirik was full, then again so was he. "Waffle war 2017 is a draw, ain't it." He showed him the shark with waffles on its tooth and a silly moustache.

Eirik looked at Magnus and gave a soft groan. "Yep," he said quietly, and chuckled. "Why does the shark have waffles...? Is he trying to steal them from you..? I will kick his butt...later, " he said and sat back.

He laughed. "Cos 'e ate the waffle chef, silly." He pointed to the leg popping out of the other side of the mouth. "See? Le Chef was yummy, but sharky is enjoying the waffles more." He giggled, "kick your own but too, cos you stole me waffles."

Eirik chuckled. "Shut your mouth, it's art crawl, " he said and laughed.

The boy's head tilted. "What's art crawl? Is that when its in motion? cos I can animate it."

Eirik put his hand to his mouth and snickered into it. "I'll have to show you some day, Mags, " he said, "although thats a good guess."

(OOC: I know I'm super late replying but haven't got time to read all posts, so sorry I haven't catch up)
Merlin smiled at Arriette and her bruises comment. "Thanks a lot, I surely will take your word on it. And hey, you are lucky not to get bruises, is it true Vampire heal very quickly if they get injured?" Merlin scratches his head. "Hope you don't mind me asking."
"Wellllll, if you are both throwing in the white flag..." Sauvage was saying to Eirik and Magnus. "Could I try a waffle? Watching the two of you 'ord them back and forth 'as suddenly made me want one." She laughed and stated to reach toward the plate that still held a few waffles.
((ooc You guys are a bad influence. I should be working instead of playing on here, but oh well, it's Friday after all. And hmm...what about Magrik for our wolf and vampire pairing? Magrik magic...kind of has a ring to it))
Drew leaned over to look at the shark drawing and chuckled at the comments from the boys. "So sharky has a bit of a sweet tooth?" he asked Magnus. "Or maybe that's his dessert after the chef."
As Sauvage reached for the waffles, he smiled and said, "They're really good...and really filling. I think I'd better wait for the break after the next presentation before sampling any more food of any kind." Drew leaned back in the chair. He was looking forward to the next school considering it was Ilvermorny. He'd heard about it growing up in the States but had never really had a desire to go anywhere other than Hogwarts. Still, he knew a bit about the school from his reading and the trips the family had gone on.
