Outfit Not Found She gave a smile and a wave on seeing Lee. She was going to make her way over but he had approached the other girls. 'Did he know them?' she thought. She didnt want to interrupt. She leaned down and scooped up Toots and made her way over to a window seat, Cricket following. She helped Cricket up and then leaned back petting her critters and looking out into the lake.

Lenore waves at the girl with fluffy ears and a tail who had just entered the room but who doesn't seem to notice. She's never seen anyone who looks like that and wants to blurt out "what are you?" but checks herself just in time.

A boy enters the room from the dormitories asking about fire whiskey. "Here you go Lee." She tosses a cauldron his way. Her aim is poor but he catches it anyway and she's glad. "I'm Lenore. And I've got a spell that will take the liquor smell off your breath before class if anyone needs it."

Still throwing hopefully-subtle glances toward the fluffy eared girl, Lenore puts the last of her whoopie pie into her mouth and immediately begins unwrapping her own chocolate cauldron. "I swear these things will be my downfall."

((ooc as a note, Lee is 6'5", has an American accent, and looks older than his 16.5 years ))

Lee was surprised that the girl tossed him a cauldron, but he did catch it. "Thank you, and nice to meet you, Lenore." He took a glance back at the window, and motioned toward the girl there. "That's Charlotte and Cricket and Tutti. Charlotte," he gave a wave, "come meet Lenore."

Lee unwrapped his cauldron and started eating it..felt the burn and smiled.

Charlotte's ear turned before her head did to her name. She looked over with a curious glance. Cricket was attempting to wrestle with her tail. With gentleness she carefully wrapped her tail around her puppy and carried him with it, this seemed to only excite him more, she couldnt feel his nips anyway, her fur was too thick. In her arms she carried Tutti as she shyly made her way over to the group. The fruity candy smell got stronger as she approached, especially when she moved her tail.

(With an american accent) She looked at the new girl she hadn't met then at Lee. "Hiya boos! How d' ya do?" she gave a friendly smile. "Oh my gosh I love your hair! Its like Holtzmanns!!" she said to Lenore in excitement. She then blushed and looked at the cake Lee was eating. "What are those? A nomag treat?"

"Ooh thanks Charlotte!" Lenore awkwardly brushes at her hair as if it had been in her eyes when it had not. "Though I'm not sure who Holtzmann is. Are they a student?" She reaches down to see if the puppy will come to say hello.

"Are you both American then?" she asks addressing Lee now too.

Lee smiled. "I transferred here from Ilvermorney, so technically yes, I am, even though I spent a lot of time with my Grandparents in Scarborough, North Yorkshire." He finished his cauldron. "These are very good, did you fill them yourself..? Or can you actually buy them this way. "

Seeing that Lenore wanted to meet Cricket she brought her tail forward as he was still safely curled in it. (Its prehensile winks) "Seems to think hes wrestlin a gator or something!" Charlotte laughed as Cricket tried to lick Lenores face from his furry nest. " This is Cricket...and this is Tutti Fruiti," she holds up her little kiwi bird. "Couldnt leave her behind after the avian charms class!" she winked. "Holtzmann is a kooky scientist from a nomag movie they remade called "Ghostbuster's" she was really cool! Ummm...ya..I'm from Maine but I went to school at Salem's Witches Institute before becoming an exchange student to Hogwarts! Wanted to learn about the English culture."

She looked at the cakes curiously, she had never seen those before and they smell like they had alcohol in them. "Are the good?" she asked curiously.

((Charlotte is 5'3'' and curvy lol obviously you know about her animal features and smell. I LOVE YOUR ACCENT Twilight!! lol...When she gets mad/irritated she resorts to more of a mobster accent with retro slang, but Lee is helping her with that! LMAO))

Lenore looks at lee with friendly jealousy. "Really? Ilvermorny? I've always wanted to see that school. Mum was up for my going for a year on exchange but dad wouldn't hear of it. I'd like to see it after I graduate anyway." She picks up another chocolate. "Here, have another. They're not very strong these. They're the ones from Honeydukes. Mum has a recipe for homemade ones that pack a punch but she won't send me any." She makes a face.

"Oh! Hello Cricket!" She laughs and backs a few inches from the puppy's tongue to see the tiny round bird. "She's so cute! I thought I had seen you in that class. I'm still waiting for Professor Norman to okay my item to transfigure. I want to use something more personal." She listens about the kooky muggle scientist. "No wonder I haven't heard of her then. I've only seen one muggle film. But it was really fun! I wish it had been colored though rather than black and white." Looks curiously "Coming from Salem must be quite a change. I can't imagine going to an all girls school. Since I grew up in Ireland coming to Hogwarts was just due course. I live in Barrons Hollow, a wizarding village just south of Kildare." Lenore looks down at the handful of chocolate cauldrons still left. "I guess you won't know until you try one." she smiles "They might burn a bit if you're not used to fire whiskey."

She chuckled at Cricket and Lenore. "Hes still a puppy so hes easily excitable. Oh! yes...Tutti was...a delightful accident." she grinned. "I had found this whimsical key in the box...then Lee was working next to me and he knocked out my snack...which just happened to be a kiwi...and well..poof!" holds up Tutti who has Charlottes pendant hanging in her beak. "She even lays kiwi...how great is that!" she laughed. "Well...I had some experience with mixed gender schools prior to Salem. I grew up in the nomag...muggle..world to a certain age. But its lovely! I was in Fairfield house there. So Im still adjusting to the green, I love it dont get me wrong...just 5 years of following people dressed in blue ya know?"

She nodded listing to Lenore. "Ohhh what movie did you see? Makes me want to try and do a Slytherin movie night or somethin...Your from Ireland? That has to be lovely, I didnt know there was another wizarding community there" she picked up a chocolate and sniffed it. "Well I saw a young teen in Hogsmeade downing what he called was Fire Whiskey how bad can it be?" she smiled and popped it into her mouth.

She looked over to the corner where the female statue was and leaned in. "Hey guys...can I ask..has that statue always been there?" she felt unsure because usually she was pretty observant but those stairs had given Lee and her a bit of a shock earlier.

(OOC LOL I could see very bad things happening if snakes got near the chickens, mira does have a protection charm on her though, but Lee hasnt had a chance yet to get to town to get a tag for his new Day, though. He will before the workshop on Saturday, just in case lol Lee is just going to be noticing the statue now :) ))

Lee gave Lenore a smile. "Ireland is one of the places I haven't been yet. I've seen many photos of the landscape though, SO beautiful. Ilvermorney was very nice, and of course they do things different than here, but...I hope you to get to see it someday." He looked down. "Oh, I'm sorry, Lenore this is Kodi (he's feeling left out) Kodi, Lenore. " Kodi looked up at the girl, his tail wagging.

He glanced about the room, then his eyes were drawn to the statue in the corner. He paled a little, then looked at it more curiously. "I ..don't remember that being there when we first came in," he said, a little uneasily and his eyes still on the statue. "Anyone else getting a creepy vibe off of it...?"

"Kiwi instead of eggs, that's brilliant!" Lenore reaches down to pat Tutti then looks a bit taken aback upon hearing that Charlotte lived with the muggles. "The muggles?! How did you...." she catches herself and blushes "Sorry, er, what I mean is...didn't the muggles notice that you er... don't look like them?"

Feeling awkward, Lenore is glad for a distraction in the form of Kodi. "Oh you're cute too!" She pats his head then looks toward the corner having heard Lee ask about the statue. "What, that? I saw it when I came in. I wanted to sketch it so I yeah, I guess something about it caught my attention. Was it not there before?" She squints and takes a step closer but doesn't want to actually approach it.

Outfit Not Found Charlotte gushed with Lenore "I know!!! I think it might be because the kiwi fruit I had rolled to the key when I cast the spell...but...free kiwi! The funny thing is...she likes them as well..I was concerned Id open the fruit and find another kiwi in there...but I think I need a boy like her to get that. Then I dont think I could eat them." she looked thoughtful. She listened to Lenore and saw her look nervous. "Its ok..you can ask me about them. My past is...many stories...the short and sweet answer though is I can hide them. Its sort of like an illusion so people cant see and I can walk amongst the "normies" she laughed. "but at school and home I can be myself. Before you ask though..I cant do other illusions." she wrinkled her nose a bit sadly "but I can turn into my animal and back again!" she nodded. "Im young though...Im sure in time I will get more of my inherited magics. So really any questions is fine. I even let Merlin touch my tail, after warning him he would smell like sweets for a bit!"

she laughed and then turned her attention to the statue and looked back at Lee and Lenore. She whispered. "want me to touch it?" she was glad she wasnt the only one who thought it was odd or hadnt noticed it before.

Lee looked at Charlotte with a bit of an alarm. "No, well...yes, but you shouldn't go alone. We'll both go." Lee looked down at Kodi. "Kodi, Stay, " he said quietly, then looked at Charlotte. He swallowed. "You ready...? Let's go over there...."

She nodded at Lee. She sat Toots on Crickets back, like she was riding him. "Cricket you watch out for Toots ok?" She took a breath and nodded to Lee and started to make her way forward. Halfway there she gripped Lees hand with her tail.

Lee walked slowly over to the statue, jumping a little when Charlotte's tail gripped his hand. He gave her a little smile, and kept going, his nose twitching a bit as he tried to take in the scent...if there was one of the statue, but all he could smell was Charlotte's candy-like one.

He stopped within his arm's reach of the statue. Never taking his eyes off of it, he whispered to Charlotte "It sure looks real. I don't hear a heart beating or anything...it's got to be a statue...but it wasn't here when we met Merlin. " He risked a quick sidelong glance. "What would this have to do with our house, do you think....?"

She had to lean in more then Lee because she was so much more tinier then him. She had kept her eyes on it as well. She jumped a bit when Lee whispered in her ear. "I dont hear a heart beat either...and I dont remember it being here either when we met Mr. Pendragon." her nose twitched and then she looked at Lee a bit bewildered because he asked her about what its purpose would be. "I..I dont know...all I got so far are Europeans are a bit off...Im trying to figure out why it would be....in like..clothing...its not chiseled...either that or its really well painted..."

She leaned forward to the girl statue her eyes slitting in the absence of darkness between her and the statue. "Maybe its to honor an old student?"

Lee was staring at it intently when he felt the hair on the back of his neck start to rise, and a low deep growl made its way up from his stomach. In a split second he had shifted, and bared his teeth, still growling.

Lenore looks fascinated as she listens to Charlotte. "Wow! You can change into an animal? That's amazing! What kin-" She stops when she notices Lee looking so uneasily at the statue. When the other two decide to check it out she picks up her wand and stands up, eyes alert as she watches. Suddenly Lee vanishes to be replaced by a rather violent looking dog. "What the!?-" She gasps. "Oh, right. An animagus." Impressed but now startled she stares intently, wand raised over the heads of the others just in case.
