(OOC: Sorry for the delay as well. Exams are coming up. I think that Nik suggested a nice idea to handle the different times people are able to rp. We can manage that. :D The only problem I see is how we're able to go on if we keep replying to a couple of different timelines...but we should just wait and see. c: )

"It's probably the safest one as well.", Elizabeth added, "speaking of breakfast, I think we should go to the Great Hall. I'm not sure if there will be anything to eat at that workshop later."
She chuckled at Ariettes comment.
"I should stay awake more often to admire the view.", she replied amused and looked at her, mentally thanking Kyros' for asking about Italy as she was curious as well.
"Oh, Erus is here as well", she then said and smiled a bit, "so he always accompanies you?"

~~~ Sunday, January 15th, early afternoon ~~~

Elizabeth just entered the common room, a stack of books in her hands and placed them on a little table. She noticed the tall figure by the window and looked over.
"Oh, Eirik, it's you. Almost didn't recognize you", she said, "but you look fine. Going somewhere?"
She grinned at that question - she had noticed that he had a small crush on Fable - and sat down on an armchair next to the table.

Eitik looked up from his tablet and smiled. "Afternoon, Miss Elizabeth, and thank you. I thought it was time for a new look. I may be a corpse, but it doesn't mean I need to look like one," he said, and chuckled. "No, I am just watching American football, happily...the team I like is ahead in the game. What are your plans for today...? "

Elizabeth chuckled a bit.
"I'm not quite sure, but you can skip the 'Miss' if you want to. I'm not royal or something like that.", she replied amused.
"That sounds good."
She wasn't really interested in sports - she just had a soft spot for the Quidditch team Pride of Portree because her father had taken her to some of their games when she was younger. It was absolutely okay. Some people loved sports, some didn't. There was no such thing like a 'wrong opinion'.
"Nothing special. Got some spellbooks from the library. I know I should be working on that essay for Astronomy, though...but I never really cared about the universe.", she explained and hoped that she didn't talk too much. She didn't want to bother him while he was enjoying the football game.
She pulled some pergament, a feather and ink from her little bag and placed it on the table as well. She rather studied here in the common room since it was always so calm.

[img align=left]https://i.imgur.com/gli1RE6.png[/img] Poppy got up and put her school things back in her room. She returned to the Common Room to find Eirik () and Elizabeth () there. "Hello you two. You look handsome with your new haircut Eirik. It's nice to see more of your face."

"I just got through with my Astronomy Elizabeth. It isn't too mathematical yet which I'm thankful for."

Eirik glanced down, scowled, and said something in another language. He did not look pleased, but when he looked back up he smiled. "Thank you, Elizabeth. You haven't finished that assignment yet..? I know not every thing in existence is personally interesting, but I think it all has something to teach us, if we can learn to listen. I will let you study, and try not to curse too loudly...or cheer for that matter."

"Hello," he said with a smile. "thank you for the compliment."

He looked down again, and this time the tone was clearly angry, though quiet, and he went on for a few seconds. Then he looked up apologetically. "Sorry, " he said, "this is a good game, and it's getting..intense."

After a few minutes, in which Eirik looked very intense, he leaped up and screamed "YESSSSS !!!" Then he looked about, and blushed. "sorry," he said quietly, but he looked VERY pleased.

She went back to her room and began rummaging through her clothes. Into her jade beaded bag went a pair of sandals, a fluffy bathrobe, an outfit change, and some skincare products. "Your hutch is so clean Biscuit! I'm glad Professor Sparks taught me that cage scouring charm." Poppy exited the dungeon and headed towards the Prefects' Bathroom.

Eirik smiled. "Thank you, I hope you enjoy...whatever it is that you will be doing."

Eirik sighed, looking at Elizabeth doing homework. He had a project that wasn't due for a week yet, but he wasn't even halfway done with it, and seeing her work made him feel guilty for not working on it.

He got up and went to the dorms. He gathered up the materials he needed, after petting his cats, and headed back out to the common room. He sat near Elizabeth, but not too near to be encroaching, and organized his materials. Then he pulled out his writing implements and got to work.

After a couple of hours, he gathered up his things. "I wish you a good night, Elizabeth, and I will see you at breakfast tomorrow, " he said with a tired smile.

Eirik walked to the dorm room and quietly did his nightly routine, then settled into bed and fell asleep.

Friday the 20th early morning

Eirik had been working really hard this past week, the assignments just seemed to stack up. He was sitting in the common room since early this morning, working on his last one..the big project. He shoved his pile of books and parchments aside, and thunked his head down on the table.

With his eyes closed, he thought about , and how he had been missing her. He didn't think he had done anything to upset her, she just had seemed like she had a lot on her mind, and he hadn't had the time to talk to her about it.

He sighed.

Friday the 20th early morning

Fable wandered out into the common room. She had been feeling a bit out of sorts and she didnt want to accidentally upset anyone so she had been, in theory, keeping to herself.

She was surprised to see Eirick up and sitting out in the common room. He had books in front of him and seemed to be lost in thought. She thought it best not to disturb him and instead made her way to a comfy chair and sunk in. She wasnt sure what shed say to him even if he did still want to talk to her.

Eirik heard someone walk into the common room, and caught a familiar scent. He lifted his head and saw Fable settling into a comfy chair.

He gave her a weary smile. "Hi," he said, quietly. "You want some company or just want to be alone..?"

She looked over at Eirick and gave her a kinda mixed message look. She didnt want to be alone but she didnt want to bother him either. "You look like your ready for bed..." she said instead.

Eirik smiled. "Yeah, i have been hitting these books pretty hard, but...I kept hoping that you might come out and we could chat. I have missed you."

"Youve missed me? Why?" she gave a tiny smile, "Ive been doing homework as well...seemed like a whole pile of it just fell from the sky."

Eirik got up and walked over to sit near Fable. His eyes were warm. "Because my feelings for you haven't changed since we first met. It's just...life has gotten in the way of me expressing them."

She smiled it was nice having him near. "Life has gotten in the way of me honestly doing anything it seems. Its hard to explain...I just havent felt myself lately."

Eirik nodded. " I know what you mean...I have felt off myself. Then I just threw myself into homework and tried not to think about it." He glanced at the time. "Crap, I suppose I should get ready for breakfast. You want to come down and sit with me..? We can talk more there, and maybe later on tonight we could..I don't know, maybe do something together..? "

---- Saturday, January 14th, early morning ---- She nodded eagerly as the Giant Squid skulked his way across the window, tentacles slapping ominously on the glass and winced at the mention of so many stairs. (Ah stairs, the horror of Hogwarts) "Seven flights, my stars I think I'd turn to dust within two! No, I'm not much of a sleeper. Outside of magically induced sleep and potion-induced sleep, I find it quite impossible to sleep. Although Madam Pomfrey tells me that Dreamless Sleep is addictive. I believe you may be able to read before the Gryffindors arrive"

She took a moment to sort out her thoughts about Italy. After all, she had to be careful about assuming knowledge of anything Italian.

"Politically Magical Italy is quite different to England. The categories of Dark, Light, and Grey magic is much less defined and the study of all three is greatly encouraged. The old magics and in particular blood magic is widely used and government regulated. To be honest, our ministry just wants to tax the living daylights out of us all. Magical Italy is not as segregated from non-magicals as you are here, the very active underworld requires constant involvement. Magic is a very popular commodity back home! Hmm what else? We are more free with the status "creatures" back home, although our definition differs. We tend to have two broad categories; "Humanoids" (Magici Civili) of which Vampires like myself, werewolves, elves, wizards, and goblins are counted and "Feral" (Magici Ferino) which include species like dragons, kneazles, owls, and house elves.

Geographically, Italy is quite beautiful. The weather is always nice and there's always singing wherever you go. Ice-cream is aplenty and so is the olive oil. The sea is never far and the weather is typically balmy."

She nodded "That sounds like it would be really nice. I thought it was just the fiasco at the workshop, with us leaving and stuff...but its more then that." she shook her head. "and tired on top of it all. But yes...lets go get some breakfast." she gave a small smile. She was glad he was talking with her.

Eirik smiled. "Great, " he said, and suddenly he felt energized again. "Let me go put this stuff away and get ready...meet me back here in like 15...?"

"Sounds good." she was surprised to see him energized again and hoped her tiredness didnt bother him.

Eirik quickly gathered up his things and headed back to the dorm room. He quietly but efficiently did what he needed to to get everything set for the day. When the 15 minutes was almost up, he headed out to the common room to wait for Fable, the smile on his face showing all the way through to his eyes.
