Kyros had almost given up by now. He found himself a table to sulk in the spirit of a lonely, terrible evening. How could everything go wrong like that? There was no way he could-

His name was called on the microphone, loud and clear, and he had to supress an urge of screaming FUCKING FINALLY. to the Heavens.

He quickly stood up and fought once again against the waves of people dancing and cheering to get near the stage. It was the second time they were calling his name, and Merlin forbid, he would get that prize even if he had to fight Gellert Grindewald to get to that stage. He finally clawed a way to the bandmates, sure that his hat and clothing were a bit disheveled. Trying to smile the best he still could, he approached the neglected Enzo and said:"Good evening, sir. I'd like the , the and the , if they're still available, please."

He noticed that one of the raffle winners was dancing with somebody, another quietly waiting for them to stop to restart the conversation, and sensed a window of opportunity at hand. Perhaps I can still do something useful tonight. He approached the lonely person, a girl with beautiful long dark hair () , still wearing his nicest smile and hoping to look friendly enough for her.

"Hi... I can't help but notice your cute beanbag. So you also like snakes? They're one of my favorite animals... Sorry, I haven't even introduced myself! I'm Kyros, a new Slytherin student. And you are...?"

Anne is going to be out of town for a bit but I promise you and I have stopped dancing if you want to chat with us :D))

It seemed like the girl was busy. Oh well. He could always go back to his table... Which he could see from here had already been occupied by a happy couple... Or try to chat with someone else, like the other happy couple that had just conveniently ended their dance. They seemed tired, but approachable, and hurt it would not.

"Quite a show, wasn't it? You are quite the talented dancers, if I may say." He smiled broadly. "I'm Kyros, your new colleague. I hope I'm not interrupting your... Romantic evening...?"

Eirik looked up as the well dressed man approached them. He was surprised to see his attire, he had almost worn that suit before deciding to go with what he was wearing.

"Yes quite a show, and thank you, " he said. He stood up from the table, straightening his tall (6'4") frame. He extended his hand. "Nice to meet you, Kyros, I am Eirik, and this is Miss Leidolf() and Miss Covington (). No, you aren't interrupting anything, " he said with a smile. "Would you care to join us..?"

Damn, this guy is tall. Kyros himself was barely 5'9", so to stand next to a man so tall was a bit intimidating. That was certainly his purpose, or at least that was what the boy could think. "Thank you, yes, I'd like to join you if it's not a bother. We fellow snakes must stick together, right?" He offered his hand to Eirik for a handshake. Sister always said you can feel more about a wizard from his grip.

After that, he turned to the girls, all charm and sweet. "Good evening, ladies. Hope you are enjoying tonight? And if I may assist at that..." He gave them a cheeky smile, mostly for fun... But if any of them took the bait, well, the better.

Eirik gave the boy a quick, firm handshake, being careful not to crush the smaller boy's hand. His own hand was large and very cold. He then sat back down and watched Kyros turn on the charm. Inwardly he chuckled, this one had his own talents as well.

Okay, tall and strong and cold. I get it. Strong Alpha Male vibe. But I think I can handle that...

"So, how has this year been for you?" Kyros believed that Eirik was used to have his guard up, so a simple question should start to create a more informal mood. "I bet you're proud of helping win the House Cup. I can only hope to do as much next year, and have us win again." And, of course, get my name on the Throphy Room, as it is my due. "About that... Have some tips for a newcomer?"

( ) "This year...?" Eric asked, looking puzzled. "Oooh, I see...no, I am a transfer student, from Durmstrang, this will be my first term at Hogwarts. I was sorted early and chose to come to school rather than spend the holidays with my...family."

He gave a little smile. "Yes, I hope to contribute greatly to the House Cup competition as well. " Eric looked thoughtful. " As for tips I would say stay out of trouble so we don't lose points, do each and every task set before you, and give it everything you have when you do said task. From what I have heard, the other Houses are a bit... lazy," he said, his eyes glinting conspiratorially in the light. "But, you didn't hear that from me, " he said, chuckling.

(OOC; I'm happy that the forums are loading on my phone again, so I can atleast write a bit in the evening xd )

Elizabeth had really enjoyed the show the bandmembers had put up. It was funny in a mean way, but amusing nevertheless. She grinned a bit at the comment one of them made about the snake plushie. "I think I can handle it.", she replied and walked back to Fable and Eirik. Elizabeth noticed that another one had joined them; it was the one who had been choking on his drink before. He seemed well now. She was startled for a second as he started talking to her out of nowhere - she was sure that she didn't seem like a talkative person. "Hello, I'm Elizabeth", she replied and eyed him a bit suspiciously. Had she been too obvious about the snake? "Yes, I like them as well...they are our house-mascot...so it would be a shame to dislike them. " The little snake plushie was resting in her hands, and she noticed that it looked rather real. Maybe a bit too real. She put up a smile and looked directly at Kyros, to focus on their conversation, telling herself not to act awkward. Elizabeth was glad that Fable and Eirik came back from their dance as both disturbed her thoughts about the snake plushie easily. She smiled warmly at Fable and judging from her expression she had had enjoyed the dance.

"Oh, so you're from Durmstrang! That's amazing. I hope you're enjoying your stay on the British Isles." The surprise on his voice and following good-wishes were genuine. In fact, Kyros was very curious now. He had never met a foreigner before, even more one who went to another Wizarding School! There were just so many questions in his mind, he had no idea where to start. DON'T SCREW THIS UP. Keep yourself together. Make the conversation flow. "Things must be so different for you... I'd like to say I have some awesome recommendations on magical places to check out, but the truth is that I haven't gone out a lot myself. I'm homeschooled, you see." He gave a playful chuckle. That is, indeed, the biggest understatement I ever said in my whole life.

It seemed to be working, as Eirik had no issues in giving some advice about the following year. The smaller boy heard carefully, as at least the other one had the school experience himself didn't. "That's some pretty solid advice. I appreciate it. But I don't think you'll have any problems with me losing points. I'm a little angel, you see~" And so was Lucifer once. "Jokes aside, thank you, Eirik." That, too, was genuine.

The girl with the snake plushie - Elizabeth - was visibly startled by his approach. By her demenure, she seemed an introvert, the kind of bookish girl he would see around Flourish and Blotts. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss." His voice was smooth, almost calming in a way. This one seems shy. Make her comfortable around you. "I'm sorry if I startled you... I just wanted to make a compliment. And maybe to have a little chat? I don't really know anyone yet..." He looked almost shy now, with those big blue eyes looking down. Careful now. Don't frighten her. You finally have a chance to befriend these people, don't you dare to fuck it up.

Fable watched everyone and smiled as she observed, her ears turned to her...finally she said "Will you two please sit down? Your making me feel like a house elf!" She realized she was the shortest one there AND sitting. Fable flagged a waiter for an assortment of drinks and snacks for the group.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Kyros, Fable is fine for me." She looked at her bottle. "I think the cracked it a bit...seeing they are dancing around in storms now." She raised a brow and took out her wand. "Repairo" She flicked her wand to repair the bottle it was in. She would hate to loose the potion.

She then turned to Anne. "So what did you pick?" she smiles looking down at the snake. Was it enchanted?

She blushed at Kyros comment about Eirick and her being romantic. She didnt think she was oogling him...she just met him. Was she? She was running over all their interaction in her head while smiling and listening to the conversation.

"So, Fable it is. Charming name for a charming lady." Kyros' voice took a more sultry tone when answering Fable, compared to the calm words he directed to Elizabeth. He could bet there was some romantic tension going on between Fable and Eirik, and couldn't help but tease it a bit... Just pushing the limits, seeing where they go, it's not a problem right? "And quite a lucky one, I can see! Got yourself a fine potion and a fine company for the evening..." He winked.

Fable blinked and then smiled. She leaned into Anne a little as she said "So many cheeky men here tonight arent there?" keeping her eyes on Kyros. "Well thank you..yes I am quite pleased with it." looking at her potion "I was concerned they were going to break it as they were scraping up there. So you will be starting this year?"

She reached at took a off the tray of drinks she had motioned the water for.

For what he knew, girls whispering to each other while looking at him was either a very good sign or a very bad one. He chose to believe the first possibility, as he had enough let-downs for a night.

"Yes, this will be my first term. And the first time I go to school, either way. I hope it's as exciting as it looks." He reached out to get his own drink , mimicking Fable's disposition. "Though I got to admit I have some questions. Do they really demand two rolls of homework everyday? I can't see how anyone would be able to do extracurriculars like this, unless they had a Time-Turner." He laughed, taking a small sip from his drink afterwards.

"Though, seriously now. How are things at Hogwarts?"

Fable was a quiet person but she was enjoying making new friends and she loved how sassy Eirick and Kyros are. Its nice when she has friends who will say what shes thinking.

"I think Hogwarts is nice, especially my house-mates and being in the common room. The other houses have nice people but if your introverted...be prepared to be put in an uncomfortable situation. The Forbidden Forest is lovely and the teachers are nice. I dont think Ive heard the 2 roll requirement...but Im usually very thorough with my homework. They commend creativity though." She smiles.

Eirik gave a small smile to Kyros. "The British Isles..well..they aren't Sweden, but I am sure they have their charm. Different..yes, things are quite different for me, " he said chuckling, his eyes darkening yet glittering with inner fire.

He reached for a from the waiter. He downed half of it while the boy kept talking, and reached into his jacket, puling out a flask. Eirik opened the top and poured very dark red liquid from it into the glass, filling it back up. He casually recapped his flask, and put it back inside his jacket. Eirik then stirred the mixture together with the celery stick while saying " I doubt that you were ever an angel, Kyros."

He sipped his drink while the boy flirted with Fable. His eyes became hard like diamonds while he watched, and observed Fable's reaction to Kyros's charms, and listened to what she had to say as well.

Fable listened to Eirick and watched him pour stuff from his flask to his cup. She caught the smell of the liquid but kept it to herself. She smiled at him. "I must admit though you both should be prepared to see some unusual things though. Aside from the ghosts we have wondering about, there are some...unusual classmates. The Bloody Baron is so nice and polite though. I received the honor of interviewing him for a class a while back. Just...dont ask about the blood on his clothing."
