Merlin entered the space where the benefit concert would be held and wondered if any have arrived yet. He was dressed up very differently than at school and maybe no one would even recognize him; he felt so out of place dress up like a rich boy, one thing he wasn't, but he had to dressed more formal for the event and yet he totally felt over dressed. "Mom shouldn't have asked that arrogant guy to lend me some clothes for tonight." He mumbled to himself. The concert hasn't start yet but managed to hear the introduction to Spellbound, a band he have never heard of but he truly didn't knew many groups of music. "Wonder what kind of music they play?" He shyly looked around and saw the waitresses serving plenty of drinks and appetizers but he wasn't thirsty or hungry now, only very nervous.

A couple of familiar faces were already there but everyone was busy talking so he just stood in a corner observing, something he was good at.

Eros eyes wandered around a bit as he observed the newcomers arriving at the event. However, his attention immediately focused back on the girl he was talking to. He faintly smirked at her answer about wanting to be alone. It was a sentiment he could relate to. He removed one of his hands from his pockets and scratched his nose quickly when Poppy asked him about being a prefect.

"After being a prefect, I'm kind of glad I'm an only child," he shrugged, hand returning to his pocket as he thought about the maturity level of some of the first and second year students. "But it's not all bad," he added, not really going into detail. "I could've done better." That last part was spoken softly, almost a whisper. It was mostly a note to himself.

((Just a reminder to anyone who gives a darn, Im playing a new character and species. Meaning I actually created a bloody character finally! :P She has been around Slytherin house but has mostly kept to herself. As fellow Slytherins I know you would at least know her name due to classes which is Fable Leidolf.))

Fable looked around at the arrival of her fellow housemates. She found herself glad that she wasnt the only one gussied up a bit and NOT in green. It was obviously not an "in" color this season. With a flick of her tail she turned her eyes back to Eirick as he spoke. Taking the time to sip from her drink.

She attentively listened before speaking. "I think you are being very strong, considering the circumstances. I know unfortunate events, coupled with this time of year can be difficult. I must admit I have only ever seen Sweden in photos." She looked down a little embarrassed at her lack of traveling. "I hope to travel one day, throughout all of Scandinavia at the very least. Its lovely your father insisted on you learning your heritage. It seems that is something that becomes lost as society grows. The old legends and such"

She looks distant for a moment then smiled. "Festive...the snow was late this year. We have decorated a wee bit but to be honest it just doesnt feel like the season." Looking around when he gestured with his hand she nodded in agreement. "I wasnt sure what to expect, " She leaned closer to Eirick "I wasnt even sure how dressed up I should be but my grandmother said these events are more...."upscale"." She covered her mouth with her hand as she chuckled at her own pun, glancing at Miss Latimers () dress. When she moved her hand she hand she had a playful smile.

Fable glanced about the room and smiled when she caught Poppys eye and nodded a greeting. She recognized her as a past prefect and took in the beautiful blues and gold trim of her gown. It was nice to see her out and about.

Her eyes then drifted over to the person she was talking too. Was that one of the new prefects? she thought Eros, she believed that was his name. He was just as elusive as she had been in socializing with others.

Then her eyes settled on Merlin. He looked very handsome, almost princely in his outfit, but she could sense his uncomfortableness. She smiled and nodded a greeting when she caught his eye.

Her sharp ears were catching bits of conversations here and there but she was mindful to keep herself in the one she was involved with, even if she wasnt used to conversing.

Eirik moved closer to Fable so that he could hear her better over the noise of the crowd, which really wasnt needed but it would be the excuse he gave if he needed to give one.

"Most of the time, I try not to think about what happened to my parents. My mother, well, her killer was caught and sentenced to prison, so I have closure with that. My father...I am having a harder time with his passing. It's a rather complicated situation, so it takes more to...push aside. But yes, holidays and family and good cheer just seem to amplify the loss of those such things." He gave her a small smile. "But, I have my cats, and a new school to be starting soon, so I try to think of those things instead."

Eirik looked thoughtful. "Yes, the whole area is quite beautiful, but you know how when you are around something all the time, it's beauty can become so commonplace you don't really see it anymore..? For example, I view tropical beaches and bright blue waters as some of the most gorgeous places in the world, but if I had grown up there, I would look for beauty in something different. Now that I am here in England, I can appreciate the beauty of my home and the surrounding areas so much more, and for that I am grateful."

Eirik laughed quietly. " well.....at the times when my Father would try to 'keep the old ways alive' I am certain I didn't appreciate it as much as I do now. All I knew then was that he took me away from my cats and movies and dragged me out into the wilderness. I did enjoy the weapons training though, and I am sure one day I will want to pass on my knowledge and skills to another. I see how valuable what he taught me really is."

"I was in England, and had no idea when the snow was to come here. We weren't terribly close to my Uncle and his family, meaning we didn't visit each other, so any of the weather here takes getting used to, " he said with a smile.

Eriki laughed at Fable's comment and pun. He was starting to like her company more and more. He watched her gaze travel to a few people, and settle for a moment on a boy dressed in blue and white splendor (). She seemed to know him, and he felt just a twinge of jealousy at that thought. He quickly pushed that behind a door and locked it away, he needed to keep his cool, otherwise this place would become a slaughterhouse, and he had a feeling that Miss Latimer () would not hold him back.

She looked into his eyes as he spoke, even though he was good at masking his emotions, there was still a glimmer of what he was feeling there.

"I could understand the need for closure and it being difficult. You just have to work through the grieving steps." She looked distant for a moment again. "I don't remember my parents. They passed when I was very young. So I really don't have a emotional attachment to mourn, just the concept of loss." She blinks and looked back up at him.

"Otherwise its just my gran and two older siblings." she smiles

"I can understand what you mean about getting used to the beauty...and for myself...sometimes it happens but I also seem to always seem to find something to be fascinated and mesmerized by in nature. Even if I know how it works, the new sprouts rising out of the dirt, a baby animals first steps, it is all still beautiful to me." she paused and took a breath.

"You saying being apart from it would make you appreciate it more though rings true. I love it here at Hogwart's, but while I'm sad to leave here I am happy to go home."

"I am intrigued by your weapons training and if its traditional Scandinavian weapons I might have to sway you for a demonstration! I only have practice in pole arms. Mainly the staff and some basic hand to hand fighting." She lightly blushed at her passion and eagerness of the subjects.

"Sorry," she quickly changed the subject, composing herself. "You have cats? Are they lovely? They seem to be. I have some caged pets. My whole life my grandmother was always making me return my animal friends to the wild. Unless I was rehabing them, but still eventually..." She chuckled. "I'm glad she doesn't make me do that with plants though."

"Regarding the weather, I'm actually glad Scotland gets as chilly as it does. I don't think I could handle it being overly warm as I'm so used to it. I live in the Black Forest. Its not always snowing, but when it does its beautiful."

She noticed Eirick's slight mood change as she looked . She gave a snort to turn Eirick's attention back to her. "You know...I am so mortified!" she says obviously dramatic. "I think he might be wearing the same fur as me!" She then pulled a playfully scrunched face. "What ever shall I do!" She pulled her faux fur closer around her.

Sam timidly slipped into the room, looking like she hadn't bothered to change from her classroom robes. She had actually replaced her hogwarts vest with a sleeveless "party" shirt, but that was her only concession from a night away from classwork. Family issues had kept her away from school for most of the term, and though the professors had been kind enough to offer her make-up exams, she was woefully behind in her studies. Sighing happily as the murmer of her fellow slytherin's conversations washed over her, she she waved at her former fellow prefect , before settling into a vacant chair to enjoy the concert.

Merlin met 's lovely eyes and quickly noticed her companion giving him a bad look. He shrugs since he had no idea why he gave him that look and continued to observe the new comers being one of them.

'I really don't remember her from this term and I should being prefect and all.' He though which made him feel quite bad. So he decided to sit next to her and say hi. "Hello, I'm Merlin. I don't remember meeting you before, it's a pleasure. Do you know the band? I have never heard them before." He was nervous since he was really bad at making friends or small talk, but he did his best to smile normally and not look like a creep.

Elizabeth knew she was somehow a bit late, as she noticed the buzzing atmosphere near the old building. She hoped that she wasn't overdressed and checked her headpiece one last time in a somewhat dusty window next to the entrance.

As she entered the festive room, she immediately asked herself why she always attended these gatherings alone. It was a little difficult for her to get comfortable in new surroundings. She looked around, maybe there would be someone she knew. Perhaps she should have interacted more with her housemates, but saved that as a New Year's resolution. She wondered if her housemates would recognize her, dressed in burgundy. Green was obviously a favourite of her, but Elizabeth did like her new dress. It was something new and the colour did fit her well. Anyway, she tried to push the words her mother said to the back of her mind. She had chosen it for her daughter, considerate of emphasising the pureblood lineage, as it came close to royalty in her mind. Elizabeth in fact didn't care that much about it.

She straightened herself a bit and was looking around, finally spotting some of her housemates, but she was unsure where to go. She recognised the prefects from this year obviously and , she had seen her quite often in the common room, but it seemed like she was having a close conversation with the boy Elizabeth did not know and decided not to interfere. In the illuminated room, she noticed something shimmering in a dark red, which was a dress made out of scales. "That's a beautiful dress. ", she noted, looking at the woman ( ), who had been standing close to Fable and the new one she did not know as well and assumed she was a student as well. "Good evening", Elizabeth added, "I think I've seen you at Hogwarts, but we never had much of a conversation. I'm Elizabeth Amalia Covington, but you can skip 'Amalia'." She smiled carefully and was thankful that her mother had been so thoughtful of teaching her polite social manners and behaviour when she was younger. Elizabeth didn't want to embarass herself here, especially not in front of her housemates nor in public.

She had caught the quick flash of anger on Signore Eirik's face and filed that titbit away for later analysis. She "Ah Signorina, my apologies if my teeth have offended you in some way. Back home in Italy, we are not as ... reserved as the English are about, how do I say uhm, our heritage (?). Why yes, I arrived in England than a moon ago, I shall be transferring into Hogwarts in the next academic year. Meanwhile, my mission is to discover as much as I can about English magical society. Ah, this dress is from China, my sister purchased it as a gift there during her studies. They're Chinese Fireball and quite sturdy, so yes very suitable for in battle."

She nervously hoped that offence wouldn't be taken to her use of heritage, she was unsure what was politically correct to use in that context. She listened to Signore Eirick's and murmured her condolences, perking up again at the Norwegian. Foreign languages always enchanted her. A flash of blond hair caught her eye as she was distracted from the conversation before her, she turned slightly to see a handsome boy dressed in blue. She tore her eyes away and refocused on Signore Eirick and Signorina Leidolf. She resisted the urge to ramble about the old legends, wary of the risk of seeming too much of a 'claw to her housemates. At Signorina Leidolf's pun, she laughed heartily.

She commented in an approving tone, "Signorina, if you don't mind me being terribly forward, this may be the start of a beautiful friendship"

Ariette caught Eirik's eye and shared a small almost-menancing smile with him. No, she would not stop him from any bloodshed if the Norwegian did end up losing his cool.

"Si, I agree, the nature in England is rather unique. I hear that the Forbidden Forest is a focal point for ambient magic. After all, nature holds some of the strongest magics"

She couldn't help interrupting with her little spiel about magic but cut herself off before she rambled on even more. She grinned widely at the newcomer's compliment.

"Salve Signorina Covington! Thank you, it was a gift from my sister. Indeed you may have seen me at Hogwarts although not as a student. I do hope we will have more opportunities for conversation in the coming year. Ah, forgive me, I'm getting ahead of myself. My name is Ariette Latimer, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Sam smiled warmly at the richly dressed fellow who introduced himself as Merlin. "Im Sam." she replied. "Well, Samantha actually, but call me Sam." Glancing at the stage she added. "Spellbound hasn't really made it over to the 'States, so I really hadn't heard of them before this. They're really good tho." It was nice to finally be able to relax for a little while. "I haven't been around at all this term", she admitted. "Got a lot of catching up to do., so I'll be doing a lot of make-up work over the holidays. It's nice to take a bit of a break tho."

Eirik nodded as Fable spoke about the loss of her Father, which was more of a concept of loss since it happened when she was so young.

"You still see the world with a sense of wonderment, " he said, a little in awe. " I'm not quite sure when I lost that..I mean, some things to me are utterly mesmerizing, like a the dew on a spiderweb sparkling in first light, and others...evoke no feeling from me whatsoever." Eirik looked momentarily sad, then brightened. "Perhaps I just need to clear my thoughts more and just look at things, to actually see them."

Eirik stood up just a little straighter at Fable's mention of weapons training. His 6'4 frame seemed to grow as his eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh yes, I would love to do a demonstration for you. You have some training yourself..? How wonderful ! I find it a rare thing that anyone has been trained in any sort of offensive techniques..usually it's just self defense, which is completely different."

He relaxed a bit, but his eyes were still bright. " yes, I have two cats...wonderful little beings. One motivated by food, the other by being petted. What sort of outdoor animals would you have brought in..?" Eirik laughed, " If I had a choice, I would say a crow, some deer, a fox, a raccoon, a mink..various things, I pretty much would love them all around me."

"Lofoten...thats the archipelago, isn't it..?" he looked thoughtful. " I haven't traveled there, but I seem to remember...ah, yes, my Father saying that it was one of the most beautiful areas in Norway. Is it actually that cold most of the year..? "

Eiriks foul mood was interrupted by Fable's snort and dramatic comments. He had to laugh, and was grateful for the distraction. "You wear it much better than he did, I wouldn't worry about it."

"Thank you," Eirik said to Miss Latimer, when she offered her condolences on his parents demise.

He was a bit unnerved when she caught his eye, and then the understanding passed between them. Part of him wanted to just start a blood bath, to freely feed and kill and....he stopped thinking along that train of thought, and pushed it aside. Curse his emotions !

"The Forbidden Forest..? Why is it forbidden..?" he asked.

Eirik looked up as the girl in burgundy approached their group and introduced herself to Miss Latimer.

Fable noticed the unfamiliar young lady and jealously wished she could have been dressed like her, she also memorized her hairstyle, which she admired, and hoped there might be a cosmetic spell to mimic it. She was always looking for new ways to do her hair.

She gave him a small yet friendly smile and a tiny wave. She always enjoyed his sassy comments in the common room about house mates getting their homework done. It had really helped seeing they finally won the house cup!

Fable thanked the waitress for her drink.

Fable smiled at Elizabeth. She knows they hadn't talked much but she was always someone who's energies she didn't mind. So when she joined their group she was more then pleased.

"Good evening Miss Elizabeth. My what a lovely dress you have!"

(ooc: its all good :) I tried to keep you included, this is my first year rpging on here.)

Fable listened and smiled. "Your teeth do not offend me. It is good you are comfortable with your appearance. To be honest," she hesitated for a moment "I am only recently out of the proverbial closet in showing my...uniqueness. My mama always warned me of the dangers of humans and how they could have a problem with me. So I became wary and dare I say a bit...paranoid? However, as I am growing in magic and learning how to protect myself more effectively I felt it was time to try to be myself. Have you never been worried of humans, muggle or wizard, judging you or outright feeling the need for pitchforks?" she smiles knowing how irrational mob mentality could be.

"I wasn't aware there was a war going on. Is it species specific?" she looked concerned. "Then yes your dress does make sense. I was serious about it being beautiful and practical. Your sister has wonderful taste but also shows she cares for you and your well being."

She smiled at Miss Ariette when she didn't take offense to her pun. She had always been a fan of wordplay.

"Oh its not too forward, I was hoping to make some new friends. I know I can be quite introverted at times. Its my nature. I'm sure though, with your keen senses you could completely understand." she motions to her double set of ears and her face. "Sometimes its so overwhelming, No? I need breaks. It always amused me that with all the life in the Forbidden Forest that THAT is the quietest place in the castle! Even the library, there is so much whispering and the pages, flicking and the quills, scratching and don't get me started on the smells." she flutters her eyes as if to even think about it gives her a headache. "Don't get me wrong, I love the smells of the old books and parchment, but I can smell the lingering other smells. Like for example, if a student spilt something upon the book." she sighs. "Forgive me...I'm rambling."

She listened to Ariette speak. "It is unique...though it is no Black Forest. Have you been? It is untouched wilderness. Though I recommend a guide to most. Its easy even for locals to get lost."

She then smiled at Elizabeth as Ariette made her introductions.

She smiled turning her attentions to Eirick.

She sipped her drink while. Her cheek had begun to twitch a bit as she was not used to smiling so much.

"I know at times...I can get lost in my own self and forget to see whats outside of me, but yes...I guess I do see the world that way. Oh! sparkling things are the worst! I could stare at those for hours, though I also have to resist the urge to want to feel things as well. I like to touch." she blushes.

"I'm always grateful for those exhibits set up for children, where they encourage them to touch and feel, I have to wait and do it nonchalantly of course so as not to embarrass my family but inside I am as giddy as a school girl." she paused, her eyes sparkling in memory. "Its not that my Gran didn't try and give us the opportunities to explore, its just now there is so much more available to children these days."

Her eyes opened in awe as Eirick straightened himself up. She knew he was tall but she hadn't realized just how much he towered over her. She imagined he could easily intimidate with this alone.

"You would? For me it is a bit harder to learn my natural abilities as there is really no instructional guide, so I have to move on instinct, but yes I do enjoy the pole arms and I have been branching out, as my strength allows, to the light war hammers. I don't know why, I just have an attraction to them." she smiles embarrassingly. "I would also like to learn more of the distance weapons. Crossbow, Bow, throwing knives." she trails off.

She looked up and listened to him talk of his cats. "I do hope I get to meet them! They sound lovely! Oh...well...I have a hamster and fish. Those are the more normal of my critters. My hamster is a long haired Syrian. Cute as a button and sweet as sugar! I have, I swear, been bit by many a animal, usually its me trying to help them and them, having being hurt by people, trying to protect themselves. I don't regret helping them though. Umm well..I have quite a close relationship with a pack of wolves that live in the forests around our manor. As a wee one I wanted to bring them all in and let them sleep upon my bed, but my mama wouldn't have it." she smiles remembering her trying to reason with her grandmother. "So instead we made a safe den for them, that has become heated over time." she smiles "and I bring out food, only once a week as they know how to hunt, but always plenty to make sure they are never hungry. My gran feeds them while I am at school. They know my family and have never harmed us. I can imagine you to be a regular beast master!" she chuckles.

"Yes Lofoten is an archipelago. Its...beautiful. I mean all the land is connected so I never really thought of it as an island but I love it. its not so bad. It ranges from the worse being -58 F to about 80 F depending on the time of year. The coldest of course is not normal just capable. January and February are the coldest though."

She smiled happy she could break his grumpy mood. "You think so?" she snugs into her fur. "Thats Merlin, hes one of the house prefects. I nice gentleman. I was always amused when he would announce that wed better had our homework done before we were off doing something else. We are all very proud to have finally snagged the house cup." she looks proud for a moment.

She listened as he asked of the Forbidden forest but she wasn't sure if she should intervene an answer. She already snuck into it, she didn't want to put herself more there then she should.

Ariette smirked before commenting in a dry tone; "Because the English Ministry is scared of what it cannot control. And you cannot control nature, not without consequences.

She gave a small sigh of relief and nodded in understanding. "I see, different upbringings perhaps? I can understand why some countries are more cautious with their non-human fellows but in my native Italia, it is hardly any trouble. The mafia is more of a problem than we are, I mean look at Sicily. Besides it is awfully hard to kill someone like me, none of that stereotypical garlic-and-holy-water will work. You'd have to use some pretty powerful, borderline illegal (or dark) magic to get rid of me."

Leaning closer, she flicked her wrist so that the underside could be seen to Signorina Leidolf but not the others. A small black mark shimmered into existence. She stroked her fingers over the mark and it slowly disappeared off her skin, almost melting into it. "My family honors Hades", she whispered lowly and pulled away with a wink.

Ariette looked vaguely amused and blushed, unused to the compliments. She completely understood. Her senses were also constantly under assault, it got worse in schools but nothing was worse than crowds. She had a feeling that mealtimes in the Great Hall would be nauseating at best. Unlike her sister or her best friend, she preferred the solitude of isolation and was largely forcing herself to be sociable.

"Really? Thank you for the heads up, I shall be sure to use a Muffliato when using the library in the future. It is quite alright, any information about Hogwarts life is much appreciated. I have not had the honor of visiting the Forbidden Forest. For some reason, the professors were quite unwilling to allow me entry. A guide you say? I will keep that in mind. It's always easy to lose oneself in nature but if you listen hard enough, magic will lead you in the right direction. At least, that's my life philosophy."

She wondered if she should offer to spar with the Signorina but decided to file it away for later when Signore Eirik was in a less tumulus mood. "If it is fighting you are interested in, perhaps you may be interested in the more "arcane" side of things? For example you can build spell chains, augment spells, spells of different languages, shielding techniques, runic circles, hex circles, runic inscriptions... that sort of thing?"

Sam gave Merlin's hand a reassuring squeeze as she shook it. "The Wizarding bankers transferred my pa to Gringotts 'cause he speaks Goblin, so we moved over here. I miss all the space we had in Nevada, more jackalopes than muggles, but there weren't many magical folk out in the desert either. It's also really great to be with folks who don't think I'm going to start throwing unforgivable curses around any second, when they hear me speak to snakes." She sighed. "Yeah, it's nice the professors are understanding. The muggle incident nearly got my pa canned, and the ministry wanted to expel ma from the country, until she was able to prove she didn't mean to hurt the bloke. She was just so sure that muggles and wizards were the same except for magical talent, and the poor guy was so upset that he was going bald...." Seeing his confused expression she trailed off. "Oh, I guess the whole mess was kind of hushed up quickly. My ma gave a muggle a hair growth tonic. It should have only filled in his bald spot, but it made his hair grow six feet long and try to strangle him. Taking off her heavy cloak she added. "Care to see if they have anything cold and fizzy on the menu?"

Eirik listened to the vampire talk. He grew more and more angry as she did so. "Miss Latimer, " he said, through clenched teeth, " I don't think it would take all that much to get rid of you...a few well placed words should do the trick."

He continued, "Your attitude disgusts me, you sense of superiority disgusts me, and you have a very ugly soul if even you have one inside of you. YOU are a prime example of why vampires are considered to be monsters, and every last one of "your kind" should be dispatched without delay. I suggest you go and find some other poor souls to grace with your presence, you are no longer welcome here."

Eirik waited impatiently for her to leave on her own, or he would be tossing her across the crowd himself.

"MISTER EIRIK, it is a fact of biology that a vampire is more difficult to kill than a human. I have told no lies, although in England those "well placed words" would land you in Azkaban. Who knows whether I have a soul or not, not much research has been made in the matter? Perhaps you should ask if YOU have a soul. YOU may be uncomfortable with me but it is a great disservice to the other signorinas here to presume to speak on their behalf. I am here trying to engage with their interests and I have acted with nothing but the utmost politeness. Do not presume to know me based on a mere conversation. If you have a problem with my presence, I suggest you take it up with me in an official duel at a later date or apologize. We are here to support ORPHANS and it would do you well to remember exactly where you are."

She gave him a steely look and planted herself firmly. She would not allow him to treat her in such a rude manner.

Fable listened to Miss Ariette and her head slowly tilted. Her brow furrowed. Then before she had opened her mouth to speak, () Eirick erupted in anger.

She blinked slowly and chose her words wisely once she did speak. She had been offended by some of her words and she didnt even understand why some of them were being said. She knew this time of year was emotionally charged in both good and bad energies but she wanted to say her peace before exiting the negative situation.

"Miss Ariette, I understand that vampires can be difficult to kill, but I am concerned of your recklessness. You show no respect or fear, it seems, of any other living entity. You have much faith in your beliefs. Which is good, you should feel strongly and defend what you believe in, but it seems you have no respect in others opinions or beliefs. It is clear that Eirick has experienced some sort of trauma in relation to your species, which, from what I understand, is common amongst not only vampires but also werewolves, as in some cases a choice for what you become is often taken away." She paused and took a breath.

"Having said that...I walk the in between path of light and darkness. I do not see stupidity or braveness factoring in it at all. As to me neither can exist without the other. You speak so highly of old natural magic, but you do not respect its highest tenant. That many things in the ecosystem of life cannot exist without the other. I am happy you found happiness in the Greek pantheon and mythos but even there, balance is impeccable." She tilted her head a bit, her eyes softened. "Even the god who watches over you and your family knows this. His wife alone moves on a cycle."

"My final note on the subject is, not everyone at Hogwarts is human and they wont be as gentle with their words as I, especially if you behave in such a reckless way. I tell you this as a fellow house mate."

She breaths a sigh.

"Now in regards to your previous statements, yes I do believe a Muffliato charm should help it just depends on how keen your senses are. I am quite found of nature magics, defensive and offensive. I have practiced in the magics you spoke of but I find that at times, its more effective to follow my instincts and let nature speak through me."

She walked forward a step to () Elizabeth and gently took her arm. "Miss Elizabeth, would you like to accompany me to get another drink?" Before she left she nodded to Miss Ariette "Excuse us, also...Miss Ariette, Slytherins arent your enemies. They are your allies. There is no need to be so aggressive."

With a flick of her tail she gracefully led Elizabeth away to find a waiter and de-stress. She hated negativity it felt like tar on her soul.

OOC filler until I have more time to write a proper reply (OOC bc it's too late for me to write out a coherent RP response & : as you've probably noticed, this particular chara is a bit (or a lot) of an aggressive brat n real unused to people disagreeing w her and I'm well aware of this but there'll be a "redemption arc" sometime in the future. ps your chara's analysis is actually bloody spot on and she is certainly NOT an easy person to like. Will edit later with an RP response)

(OOC edit : disregard anything about war, I got my RP's mixed up. There is no war (well unless the mods say there is 😜)

(( OOC nice roleplaying :) ))

Eirik waited for Miss Leidolf and her companion to leave before responding to the vampire. He sneered, " Is that what passes for politeness where you come from..? It certainly doesn't where I was brought up."

"I am quite well aware of where I am, which is the only reason you are still standing. I would NEVER apologize to the likes of YOU, and a duel..? How very 'civilized' of you to even suggest it...although I would not waste my magical ability when my sword, a stake or even my bare hands would do the trick quite easily. As for presuming to know you from one conversation, it has quite been enough to judge your character as someone I wish never to speak to again."

He leaned in closer, the threat very visible in his eyes. "We may be house mates, that much is true, but you had better watch your back, lest some unfortunate 'accident' befall you. " Then he straightened, and gave a slight bow. "If you will excuse me, " he said, and walked swiftly after Miss Leidolf and her companion.
