Eirk happily accepted his prizes, and went to put them with his coat at the coat check station. Once he was finished there, he stopped in to the mens room to see if he still was presentable. He stepped into a stall and closed the door. He pulled his flask out from his inside jacket pocket and drank deeply, until his hunger was more than satisfied. He did not know how he would get along without this magically refilling flask. He capped in, put it away, used the facilities and stepped back out to wash his hands and rinse out his mouth. After drying his hands and using some breath spray, he made his way back out.

He followed his nose over to the buffet area, and slipped in behind Miss Leidolf, who was behind Miss Covington. He made a mental note that these two seemed to be friends.

"hello again, Fable, may I call you that...?" he said, his mouth smelling cinnamony fresh. "The food smells good, any idea of what you might be having..? Forgive the delay with my return...nature called, " he said with a small smile.

Fable looked back and up, she could easily see Eirick without even having to turn. "Hello again, yes you can call me Fable. May I call you Eirick?" She smiled, her check was still twitching so she rubbed it trying to relax the muscle. She wondered if it was as visible as it felt. "Those bit of warmed cheese are calling to me." She looked about. "Ooooh the tortilla chips and salsa spread look good as well, and I smell cider...do you?"

She was glad for the gluten free options. Wheat always made her get the stupids and feel itchy. She knew it was improper but she quickly used the tongs to put a and then pop it into her mouth. She was a LOT hungrier then she thought!

Kyros ran down the stairs with as much dignity as one could muster when they were undoubtedly late for such an important House meeting. He mentally cursed himself along the way, annoyed for committing such a failure right before the start of his term. What would his House mates think of him after that? Late Coming Ky. He shuddered, and quickly tried to rationalize a way to mend possible damage to his still budding reputation. What could he say? 'Oh, my sister was worried that our psychotic parents would attack me if I went out alone in public.'? That certainly would not do. He would have to make something up.

Once at the door, he took a precious moment to regain his breath and compose himself, giving one last check at his clothes and magical hat before putting on his best smile and walking inside. With that, the music loudly hit him along with the brightness of magical lights. Damn, he was so late.

Either way, it was time to face the serpents. He wondered if he should wait for their first move, or just go out and make himself known... Looking around, it seemed like everyone was already chatting. He would not dare to interrupt without a suitable opening. Merlin damn it. And right at a party with so many fancy-looking people... I really need to make a good first impression...

Patience never was one of his virtues, but it would have to be now. He began walking confidently, seemingly just enjoying the music, but atentive to some conversation he could take a part of.

Eirik was happy the buffet line was moving along, and he could now take a plate and start to help himself. "Yes, of course you may call me Eirik, " he said to Fable. "there are many foods calling to me, and you are gluten free..? I should be, but I can't stay on the wagon very long if pizza is around," he said chuckling.

She noticed Samantha Grant () waving to her and happily returned the greeting, as she made her way up through the crowd to accept her winnings.

"I would like the Raven Lord Cowl and the Opal Ghost Figurine from Tier 2 please," Poppy told Raul. "Thank you."

Samantha () approached Lizzy with a surprised and happy face, and to this she smiled while blowing a bubble with her gum. "A pleasure sweetie, and thanks - I know my hair is enchanting." After listening to her request she looked through the gift pile. "Oh there it is! Come here you little prankster!" The owl flied around the stage with her on its tail until she took her wand out and put a spell on it. "Petrificus Totalus!" Luckily she was able to grab it before it fell to the floor. "Here ya go, good luck taming him, was giving me a headache- good thing you are taking it." Lizzy gave to Samantha, who left with it with a smile on her face. "Who else wants their pricey prize?" She looked at her fellow band member Enzo Hayes. "I think this one is for ya." Then turns around and continues to chew and cheering the crowd so they will applaud to the winners. "I can't hear you, louder!"

Enzo shook his head while he looked at Lizzy acting like she always did- mad- and listened to 's request. "Hello beautiful Elizabeth, I'm Enzo but you should already know that. Let me see if I actually do have those items, because I saw a guy lurking aroun' here before, he might have taken some of the prizes with him." Enzo looked on his bag of prizes and started placing them all on the stage floor. "This is not it..neither is this. Where in Merlin's beard is it hiding?" He smiled at Elizabeth and took his wand out. "Accio " The plushie came to his hands. "Here you go, let me see..Accio " The giant coin fell to his hands. "I like this one, maybe I should keep it..." But Eli made a sad face. "I was only joking, here take it." He laughed a bit and then called on the last item "Accio " The backpack was now in hands and he moved it in his hands. "I think the trinkets are inside, it's a bit heavy, maybe you should put the token inside as well. Do you need help carrying it? I can help out." He winks and Lizzy hit his head with the mic.

"Stop flirting, you are married..TO ME!" She frowns at her husband.

To this he sheepishly smiled. "Rrrright, sorry." Elizabeth left hurriedly before Lizzy turn her eyes on her but was happy with her prizes.

Right after Elizabeth and adorable furry girl approached, ,and pointed to the items on the floor that she wanted. "Oh hello missy, you are so cute I want to hug you! Can I take you home?" Another hit on the head was heard on the mic. "I guess that means no. Here you go." He gave her and

A polite man approached him next and he mockingly smiled to Raul since no one had approach him and he wanted to give prizes out. "Hello, welcome." The man smiled at him but didn't seem like he was very happy, but he smiled back. "Erik, I don't see the items you are requesting here. Maybe the last token was taken by the lurker...let me check again." He found the at the end of the bag and it was broken. "Oh wow, it looks like something tore it, but no worries let me fix it. "Reparo!" Enzo smiled. "Good as new." He put it on Erik's head without asking and continued to search for the other objects. "I think it was a bad idea to put the goblet inside, hope it still have some power in it- try adding water, it may still have magic." He gave to who looked a bit displeased. "AH! I think the token may be hidden inside, let me see. REVELIO!" A glittery object begin to shine inside the red bag. "Here you go!" Finally he hands Erik the "Sorry for the delay." After he left he saw no one else waiting for prizes. "Are we done?"

"NO! There is another winner and she just might be at the bathroom because she isn't here yet." Raul protested since he wished it was finally his time to give out prizes, he was a bit jealous of Enzo. "Maybe this Poppy would like one of my treasures." He showed everything on a floating table- very organized contrary to Enzo.

"Fine, call her and see if she likes your treasures." Enzo rolled his eyes since he knew Raul was anxious to give away prizes - because loved gifting.

Moments later a beautiful girl approach the stage through the crowd. "Let her through, people, let her through!" Raul asked the public who responded immediately. "Welcome, what would like today?" He showed her his offerings. "They are the most well cared items in all the stage- believe me." To his delight, she chose his items, so he first handed and then "Ah this item is a rare one, take good care of it since its magical powers are not even well known among us wizards, but best known by the dead." She took them and left quietly; Raul felt pleased to have given out something. "Alright enjoy the next block of songs, the beautiful Lizzy can't wait to delight you all with her powerful voice! Stay tuned, more prizes in the next hour and you might be the lucky winner!"

Lizzy took the mic from his hands and pushed him. "Go away, you attention seeker, the spotlight is MINE!" She wickedly laughed and its sound growled all over the place which made everyone stare at her. "Now that I have your attention, we may continue playing."

The interruption was over and the event continued its course, until next raffle.

He briefly looked to girl next to him when he heard the man up front say her name. Eros recognized half of the other names, too. Eros was a bit jealous since he was a fan of Spellbound, but he didn't really come to the event with the expectation of meeting them. The Australian teen didn't linger too much on it and decided to go scout out something to drink.

(To Enzo:) Fable blushed and got out a "Cheeky!" Before he was bopped on the head by his wife. She then giggled and made her way back to () Elizabeth, "Oh my! hes sassy isn't he?" She turned to see Eirick () have a hat smooshed on his head. She snorted into her hand and giggled more. "Hes a brave one, isn't he!" She commented to Elizabeth.

Once Eirick rejoined the group, she couldn't help smiling. "That hat was a good look for you." She grinned showing her wolfy fangs for the first time. "Ya, I'm allergic to the darn stuff, wheat I mean, I fall off the wagon here and there, its not..life threatening but the effects of it are, uncomfortable." she sighs. "I'm finding decent substitutes but mostly its overpriced junk. There are some DELICIOUS dino shaped nuggets I adore though." at that she blushed. She was slowly getting comfortable with him and not being as restrained...or again...it could be the drinks.

Eirik snorted a bit between food bites. When he had finished his deviled egg he said " I couldn't believe he just put that hat on top of my head. It was ripped you know, and he fixed it. And the goblet 'just add water', " he shook his head and laughed. 'I think they are new to this."

He thought about gluten free foods as he ate his swiss cheese. "I am glad your allergy isn't life threatening," he said when he finished. "It's good that you can find some things you really enjoy. Do you like shaped food or is it just that particular brand you like..?"

Eirik finished up his food. He had been hungry and the food was fantastic.

Kyros was not expecting for his name to be called to the raffle so fast. At least luck finally turned to his side, it seemed. Though it took him a while to squeeze himself among the crowd to get to the band, he finally did so, right on time to see the bassist apparently being scoffed by his wife as he delivered the prizes to some cute girl, and then as he put a hat on another person's head. As soon as the guy left, Kyros had popped up to his spot as was looking at Lizzy with big, pleading blue eyes.

"I'm such a fan of your work - you don't know how happy I am to be here. Though it seems I got a bit sidetracked on the way. I hope I still have time to get my prize?" The question came up as innocently as he could muster. I really hope I won't lose this because of the commotion! I had enough of it for this evening. "I'd like that please?"

In the corner of his eyes he could see some of the raffle winners gathering to have a small chat. He'd go there as well once he had his prize...

"Oh? What do you mean I wasn't... I thought... Nevermind. I'm really sorry." Something inside of him was screaming, he only wasn't sure if it was embarassment, his conscience or pure, simple, unrestrained frustration. Perhaps Sister was right and I was never meant to be here...

Kyros did his best to swallow all those anger-inducing thoughts. That was not the time. Instead, he went back to the crowd and hoped that at least one thing could work out tonight.

Merlin thanked Sam for protecting his outfit, but just before they left the winners of the raffle were announced so he waited for Sam to return with her prize. "Oh wow! That owl is so beautiful! Poor thing thou, can't move for now." Merlin caressed it softly. "I bet he an Spellz can be friends, but let's eat something." They went to the buffet thinking of all the good things he could possibly get, but while on the line a drunk wizard that looked a lot like Aurelianus, in fact it was him! Well he pushed him out of the line so he couldn't get anything. For his luck, another waiter, one he didn't see before gave him a tray with Merlin smiled since he was a sweet tooth and grabbed one of the desserts first, but Aurelianus walked by and took all the things on his plate and thanked Merlin. "I'm not a waiter!" He sighs, and looks at the Lemon pastry on his hand. "At least one." When he is about to put it on his mouth someone slightly push him but he tripped with a shoe and the pastry ended up on the floor. "OH MAN!"

Fable looked at Eirick surprised. "It was ripped?!" she laughs. "Maybe not new just a little disorganized. They were characters I tell you. The guy, Enzo I believe his name was, was cheeky with Elizabeth and me. His wife bopped him one." she laughs. "Oh, I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying myself!" she pointed out the foods she would like to the wait-staff and picked out another drink.

Seeing Merlin get passed up again Fable snuck up behind him and the minute he opened his mouth popped a into it. She held it with a napkin and was CAREFUL to get none on either of them and so he wouldn't choke. "For gods sake Merlin, your acting like your on a diet!" she laughed and made her way back to Eirick.

Once back to Eirick () she smiled. "I couldn't take his starving anymore. Oh dear!" worry crossed her face. "I hope he isn't a vegetarian!" gives a small shrug. "Well, I like shaped food, to answer your question. I mean...if its gross, no shape will make it better. But I find it..I don't know...whimsical and it makes me happy." she looked down blushing. "What about you? Do you have a favorite food?"

Eirik looked surprised. " He was being cheeky...with his wife there..? Oh, he is in for it tonight, I would think, " he said, laughing a little. He didn't really find it amusing that someone was even playfully hitting on her, but he wasn't going to allow himself to get angry about it.

He watched her go over and put some food into the princely dressed boy, and felt another twinge of jealousy. He listened to her explanation, and decided it was a harmless act.

"So you do like shaped food..I agree, how well something is presented doesn't matter if it doesn't taste good. " Eirik looked thoughtful. " I would say that yes, I do have a favorite food. I would say it's pizza...I generally cannot resist it if there is one around. Vegetarian, of course. "

She looked at him. She kept feeling his moods go back and forth and didn't understand why. She gave him a smile. "Hes probably a creeper." she said a playful glimmer in her eyes. "Or hes trying to make his wife jealous." she shrugs. "So your hooked on pizza huh? and your vegetarian. Excuse my bluntness, but how did you get so big then?" she was thoughtful. "You must watch your nutrition well." she smiled.

"Ya...I am hooked on those nuggets I told you about, then in lieu of biscuits I eat these smiley mash potato fries, sometimes some gluten free cornbread and I have these rice noodles that have like 20 different shapes and they aren't your normal ones, they have like trees and leaves, star bursts and horses, just so many. So its fun just even looking at the raw noodles." she laughed at how silly she must sound.

(OOC: Fable no joke, Merlin is a vegetarian! I'm dying laughing!) Merlin opened widely his eyes when he found something on his mouth that tasted strange. He heard Fable say something about a diet but as he chew more, his eyes begin to tear. 'Oh no! MEAT!' He thought in alarm and looked for a napkin, when he spit it out he saw a chewed "MERLIN'S BEARD WHY THIS OF ALL THINGS?!" He cough and cough making his pale face turn read, then decides to run to the bathroom to wash his mouth with water. After a while he returned looking like nothing happened, walked close to Fable and to her ear he whispered. "Thanks for the concern, but I'm a vegetarian, did you forgot? I forgive you, no worries." He noticed Eirik being a little tense for seeing him whispering on Fable's ear, which made the wizard giggled a bit. "I think your friend is jealous." He waved to them as he walked away to look at the band again.
