Eirik raised a brow. "You interviewed..a ghost, I am assuming he is, the Bloody Baron. How fascinating."

Merlin was dancing wildly in front of the stage, his white locks were wet with sweat and his fur was now worn by Lizzy Lee, who apparently wanted it and took it from him.

Merlin just wanted to forget any bad memories from the night or past term because soon he would have to focus in schoolwork and possible prefect duties. So he jumped and screamed like he never did before. Luckily he didn't had to behave like a prefect this night.

"It's not as fun if they're all the same. At least you seem to be enjoying it." Kyros spoke smoothly, his eyes seemingly on his drink as he kept the conversation flowing and his attention on Eirik's mysterious flask. A potion? At least it doesn't look like Polyjuice. Maybe he's sick. Is it too much for me to ask about it? He doesn't seem to be making it a secret. "Such a calumny. I'll let you know I'm very well-behaved."
"So it seems my fears were unfounded. Good to know... I'm looking forward to have a good time in the Common Room and learn a lot. The only problem will be the other students. I'm quite the shrinking violet as you can see..." Kyros twirled one of his curls around a finger, pushing it out of the way to better see Fable, winking at her again. "Thanks for the advice, Fable. Luckily I'm not scared of people, alive or dead. Or... At least the ones that don't look like Eirik. He is quite the big guy, isn't he? And strong. But I don't think you're scared of him." He smirked knowingly, letting the weight of his words pour in.
"I do have to say I find amusing that a Forbidden Forest is actually pleasant. A misnaming? Or... Do you know how to have fun in forbidden places?" His voice went down an octave then. I am having way too much fun with this. I gotta focus...
(OOC: This boy is on fire, holy shit.)

Fable looked out at the dance floor and hide her smile behind her mouth. Merlin was having so much fun, it was great...everyone was SO FRIED by the end of last term, so she was happy to see him let loose.
Yes the Bloody Baron is Slytherins House ghost. It was nice learning about his time period.
Fable smiled amused. "You sir...are cheeky. Elizabeth and I both suffered the "manhandling" of the other houses about a month ago." she looks at Elizabeth () "Getting tacos I believe in Hogsmeade. Its not that they arent nice, its just they have an...abundance of energy and can be...boisterous. Just not my scene, unless the people are like me."
Fable looked Kyros up and down and leaned in with analyzing, non blinking eyes. "Are you really a shrinking violet?" She sniffed in his direction, she could smell him across the table, his cologne, his natural scent, but what she was smelling for this time was his fear. After analyzing him she set back down and smiled kindly.
"The Forbidden Forest is forbidden because of the creatures in there. I happen to like personally going in there and running with the born werewolves. It really can be dangerous though..."
She looked at Eirick at Kyros comment and blushed. She picked up a and chucked it playfully at him. "Yes he is quite a big guy...You werent here earlier but he had explained he was descended from Vikings!" She laughed showing her wolfy teeth. She was being more playful then normal for her, but it really had been a stressful semester.

Eirik set his drink down, and with one blur of movement, grabbed Kyros by the throat and slammed him into the far wall. His long canines dropped as he held the boy 3 feet off the ground.
"I...have had...a rough night, " he said, his eyes burning into Kyros's. "I am tired of playing games and keeping my composure. Fable is MINE, do you understand..? Lay off the 'cheek' or whatever the hell you Brits say. Have I made myself clear..?"

Fable watched as Eirick blurred away with Kyros and sighs. "Crud..." she gets up and walks over to the two of them in time to hear Eirick say she was his.
"Excuse me?" her brow furrowed and her normally pretty face looking more feral. "Yours??? I AM NOT A POSSESSION! You put him down this instant we dont treat housemates like this!" Fable was going to give him a chance before getting more physical with him.

At one moment, he was wondering about how to reply to Fable's comments about the forbidden forest. At the other, someone had grabbed him by the throat and he was more inches above the ground than he should be, with a burning pain on his back from being pressed against the wall, more yet the strong grip on his neck. His first reaction was to grab the person's wrist, feeling the cold skin beneath his fingers. Eirik was looking back at him with angry eyes and sharp fangs drawn.
Guess now I do know where that limit is.
"I was just... Being nice... " He wasn't going to apologize. Not even with his life on the line. He hadn't done anything wrong, not this time. "People... Around... You won't... Expelled..." He was trying his best not to be afraid, even with the adrenaline on his system. His wand was on his pocket, a knife strapped to his leg, and he could feel people's eyes on them.
(OOC: Well, that escalated quickly... :P)

Eirik was still glaring at the boy, who was stammering out a reply, when he heard Fable start to reprimand him. He turned his head to look over his shoulder, still firmly holding the boy up by his throat against the wall.
"I'm sorry, " he said to Fable, his fangs retracting and his eyes softening as he looked at her. "Would you like to be mine..?" he asked rather innocently.

"Put. him. down." she looked at him seriously. "and..I am still not a possession." she turned red. "and that is NOT something you ask in a room full of people who are all staring at us!"
She looked at Kyros concerned.

Eirik sighed, and slowly lowered Kyros to the floor, letting go of his throat once the boy had his footing. He looked at Fable, and hung his head a little. "Sorry, " he said. "Maybe we could go somewhere private after this and talk about it..?" he asked, looking up hopefully.

Breathing felt more and more difficult with that iron around his neck. Kyros tried to discreetly reach for his wand, while Eirik's focus was on Fable. Non-verbal spells were not exactly his forte, but he would have to do with what he could. Slowly, steadily, his hand wormed its way down to his suit pocket, the other still holding Eirik's wrist so he wouldn't notice as easily the change in pressure.
Once he grabbed the handle, however, Eirik put him down. The pressure on his throat was gone, and welcome, though burning air filled his lungs. He gasped for breath, still uncapable of speaking, before looking up at the presumed couple. I am certainly no angel. But you? You've made a big mistake, son.
"I'm fine, Fable. Thanks." His usually smooth-voice was coarse and cold, the words pausing weirdly while he breathed heavily. "And you... You will regret this." He didn't sound angry or threatening, but distant.

Fable looked at the two of them, she was a bit miffed at them "Boys and their pissing contests!" she said a little louder then she meant to and shook her head. She turned and walked back to Elizabeth () at their table. "I swear sometimes I think people just like fighting with each other." she sipped her drink.
She swore to herself she was not fighting or using her wand on people tonight.

Eirik watched Fable walk away. "Will I..?" Erick said to Kyros, without turning to look at him. He then left the boy and walked past the table where the girls were sitting. He picked up his drink as he did so, and made his way to the coat check. Once attired for the night air, he went outside to cool down, and have a cigarette while he sipped his drink.

He knew that his maker would have some words of wisdom for him, and so he pulled out his phone to make a call.

INNER MONOLOGUE!!!!
Fable was frustrated, she liked Eirick. She was embarrassed because Kyros had noticed she liked him as well. Kyros wasnt bad...just cheeky...she got a good look at him and could see he was shy and trying to impress. She didnt think Elizabeth and her were that scary to be around but she wasnt seeing it from his eyes so how could she know for sure. She sighed and went back to watching flailing on the dance floor. It amused her.

Kyros pulled himself to his feet and neated his clothing, making himself presentable again. His neck and throat hurt, and he was sure there would be red marks on his pale skin, but he could deal with that later. There was damage control to be done. And he had some interesting things to think about.
"There's no need to fight against housemates, Eirik." His voice was still coarse from how sore his throat was, but his tone was steely as it was directed to the taller male leaving the scene. "We're not Gryffindors." It didn't matter to him if Eirik heard him or not. He had enough information as it was.
He hoped he could still at least make amends to the girls, though, to not put the work of the night to waste. He approached them carefully, once most of the people in the vicinity noticed the show was over. "Sorry for this sad scene, ladies. I didn't mean to offend any of you... I hope we're still on speaking terms?"

Fable looked up and nodded. "So...how much of that was planned?" She looked at him from over her glass. She wasnt being mean...she just knows people like to see what they can get away with.

"I can assure you that being pressed to a wall by a guy bigger than me was never part of any plan." He couldn't help keep the sarcasm out of his voice, putting his wand back on his pocket. "I was just teasing, really. Wanted to see if there was really something going on between you. I think he misunderstood that. Badly."
It's not like I'd deliberately antagonize a Viking without a very good reason, after all.
"To say the truth, I'm not really the type interested in relationships. Never been. So you shouldn't worry about that." He tried to give a rather weak smile. "I'm much more interested in being friends."

She smiled. "I just met Eirick tonight, I consider him a friend at the moment. To be frank, I had never considered any relationships, friends or otherwise, because I wasnt sure how if I could be accepted." she sighs. "I think everyone is going to be smaller then Eirick. Except maybe the grounds keeper Hagrid. From what Ive seen though, Eirick is a good guy, hes just trying to find his place in our society like everyone else." She nods thoughtfully and reached for a tart.
"Sometimes I think some events can get to fancy, we forget we are teens..." she spronged one of her curls from her hair and smile. "Should of had a Ugly Christmas Sweater party instead." She laughs.

"I believe everyone is trying to find the place they belong in this world. And plenty others are willing to prevent us from finding it. I don't think you're being unwise at being cautious." Kyros assured Fable, the same calming effect he used to talk to Elizabeth back to his voice. "You shouldn't trust anyone. That means you shouldn't trust my own advice, if you wish to, and trust whoever you want." He nodded sagely. "At least, if it helps, I don't mind talking to you. Fangs or not."
His voice took a more serious tone, alongside a change in his usual nonchalant expression. "I don't think Eirik is a bad guy at all. But it's not comfortable to be treated like a possession." I had bad enough experiences with being owned by somebody. "You could talk to him about it, if you wish to. Make him see your point. I'm saying that because I don't think he'll want to see my face in a good while, and it's not on my interests for someone to rip my head off my shoulders."
He couldn't help but smile at her proposal of a sweater party. "Oh, certainly. We should make a competition of the ugliest sweaters next year. The winner gets to take the picture of everyone else wearing those terrible clothes and put it in the yearbook!" He gave a quick laugh that soon turned into a coughing fit due to the effort on his throat. "I think I should take care of this..." He motioned to the waiter in order to get a in place of his long-lost drink.

Eirik finished his phone conversation and sighed, butting out his cigarette and disposing of it properly. His drink was finished, and he was cold, so he headed back inside, checking his coat.

Eirik looked around, and set his glass on a waiter's tray as they went past. He looked toward where he had been sitting with Fable () and saw her there are the table, along with Kyros (). They were chatting and seemed to be getting along famously.
Eirik felt both anger and like he had been punched in the stomach. With one last longing look, he turned and got his coat again from the coat check. Then he put it on, and walked out the door.

Once outside, he began walking back towards the castle, trying to put the beautiful girl out his mind.
