Day 318 a Bathhouse token.

Along with the tasks of this week and on, I've been given a mess of extra chores around my house. It'll keep me busy, to say the least.

The sinks have dishes in them, the floor needs sweeping, I could spend 2 hours rearranging the shelves where the sheets are all mashed up, the carpets need vacuuming, the windows haven't been washed since .... The list goes on forever. I spent exactly 11 hours and 40 minutes at work today. The rest of my evening/night (2 more hours?) I will be here and then go to bed and that list will still be here tomorrow.... :P

It didn't dawn on me...two full moons in one month. I don't have previous memory of any.

On a sad note, one of my high school friends died. I'll go to the funeral with my sister Friday.

Day 322 a Tempest Lightning Rod

Y'all aren't gonna believe this! I know I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it! After looking for the card for days, on Tuesday evening I opened my mom's January bank statement. OMG! Multiple charges that weren't authorized and ATM withdrawals! One was for over 400! Plus the account had gone into overdraft on the 21st but didn't get the notices until Monday! She is over $900 in the hole on that account. We did not find the card as of that time. The girl that had been staying with us and helping me out was here at the time. After discussing the statement she suddenly said that her mother had texted her and she had to return home and could my daughter take her home. She gave me a big hug and said how much she hated that this was happening to us as she considers us family and she loves us. My daughter took her home and then about thirty minutes later the girl called and admitted that she had wd all that money but it was at the request of my oldest daughter. Which is total bs! She told us that she was needing it for alcohol. There is no way that my daughter could drink over $2000 worth of alcohol. Plus multiple charges that had nothing to do with my daughter. She had been making purchases and bringing items to the house and getting tattoos and a solid gold grill for her teeth during this time. When asked where she was getting all this money she'd say that her grandmother gave her a large sum of money at Christmas and that her sister was helping her pay for the tattoos. Anyways, we still didn't have the card and by then it was after 1 am and I woke up my oldest daughter and told her what was going on. She was livid! She has had access to my mom and my account for over 4 years and has never and would never use either one unless I expressly gave her permission. She is the breadwinner in our family and has never used the cards to buy her alcohol but only hers. First thing the next morning we went down to the police station and filed a police report. When the girl found out that we had filed the report she sent a message through my niece that if we pressed charges she would press charges against my oldest daughter for sexual assault. PLEASE! How ridiculous. Of course we are pressing charges! Because it was my mom's account I have to file a separate report for my account as my mom's case is considered elderly abuse and different charges have to be made on that one.

Edit: We started finding receipts from this girls purchases (she's not very bright} and while going through my vehicle which she used all the time found all kinds of receipts and my mom's card tucked away under the seat. Also found more receipts and instructions for a sex toy she had purchased. The more we investigate the more lies we find out that she told us. I am just heartsick and disgusted! She was treated as family here and we've known her for over 6 years.
