Well, after the pizza and some last things we went to my house. Even though it was 20:00ish he needed to watch two documentaries for an assignment. So we did, the demise and resurgence of electric cars.

Tomorrow I return to the courthouse, and find out the extent of what I need to do. Since cash isn't accepted for payment, I can use what I have for related expenses. My missing money will still be for that, I'll go about this another way.

Speaking of losing things.... my debit card is missing. It's the one I use for groceries. This is the second time in three days. The first time was Friday evening and eventually found it under a bed this morning. The person (who had it when it was lost and who found it) put it in my billfold in my purse this morning. This afternoon I was going to use it to buy lunch and to grocery shop and it is not in my billfold, purse or anywhere else to be found. I've been looking for it since around noon today. I have never been so frustrated in all my life. How could it have just disappeared? This is on top of finding out someone had been slowly withdrawing money out of my other debit card (personal) for about a week. I had to cancel that one, do dispute papers and get a new card. It took a week to get that one back and finally got it on Friday this week. So seriously??? I am beyond pissed!

That is SO frustrating! The person who found it (and used it presumably) doesn't have it? I hope and pray that you find resolution to this.

The court appearance went well, one citation was dismissed. The issue with my license is deferred for one month. For now I only owe $10 in fees, which I'll pay in a few days.

I have a lot of homework, dig around for information about my license. And get tax information to submit for college financial.

Soooo I've looked everywhere and still haven't found the card. This is on my Mom's account and I am not listed on that account. My sister Karen, deceased and my dad, also deceased are the other two account holders. Because my name is not on that account they will not even let me cancel the card and get a new one. Arggggh! My brother-in-law has my mom's power of attorney so he has to go in and do it himself. Unfortunately, that is subject to when he can get a day off. The bank is in another city. Possibly they have a branch where he is. He is in the process of opening another account for Mom with my name on it. Just hasn't transferred everything over yet. Quite a few bills get paid EFT from that account and direct deposits that go in there. Has to contact all those companies and get it switched over as well. What a nightmare! I'm still looking for it as there is a possibility that one of the toddlers that was here when it went missing could have picked it up. No telling where they would have put it. There were 16 people in the house at that time total.

Well, I hope you find it. And can look for it not frantically. I always miss things when that happens. Is there a toy box or somewhere central the people who may have cleaned up would toss it without noticing it hadn't expired?

@ : I hope you find it too. I'm not one to think negatively, but "misplacing" cards (two cards!) like that twice in a row makes me very suspicious. It sounds sneaky, like the perpetrator is acting in a way to cause you to second-guess your own actions. I do not believe in coincidences. Please do everything in your power to get this thing under control if you can and I will pray that the account is safe and that the loss of the card is an innocent mistake.

When it is found, you need to figure out a way to secure all your cards. It seems like somebody is watching you very closely to see where you are keeping them so that they can 'borrow" them and then 'sneak' them back, or mysteriously find them under the bed. Really, found a card under the bed, how 'convenient.' (see my weasel tail fluff up twice it's size and the blood-red eyes of the blood-lust burning in my heart?)

I have good reason to be positive about this, when I showed up I was told I had to return the same day when I had gone before. But for whatever reason, I was allowed anyway.

And still having ample free time, thirty days is more than enough. When I had to appear in 2015, I was given a week.

Good luck with the taxes! I am currently trying to get all the paperwork I need for a discount on my property tax, which is exorbitant. I have not been able to get the paperwork needed for 2 years and am hoping this will be a turnabout year! While still trying to win the lottery :)
