Happy 6th Subetan Anniversary! Any idea what you're going to pick from your loyalty box?
All the more reason to take an extra day to rest and feel better c: you do know that going back too soon will make you feel even worse, right? I mean, I love how you're always considering everyone else, but you need to take care of you as well.
Oh, yes I have the face powder palette as well! I love it. It's really versatile and feminine. With a lot of the wigs, I feel that they're so big and they have such specific colors that they sort of loose some of the versatility? I have this lovely black wig CW and it is gorgeous and stunning, but sometimes I just look at it and am not sure which route to go. I actually feel a little bad that I never do too much with it.
I wouldn't even consider the epilogue a band-aid. That's giving it too much credit, for it should have never been considered or written. When I first read it, I ranted for over an hour to Hendrik (who actually thought it was a nice addition o.o'). And like you I felt the same way, the dialogue with Albert felt unnatural. To me, it felt like Rowling was trying to write the whole ordeal everyone went through off as over and done with, when I don't think that it could ever be over and done with. It should leave scars, it should leave insecurities and imperfections ... it should leave something!
On the other hand, it seems that The Cursed Child portrays Harry as less than perfect and certainly not a great father, but the way they went feels out of character and arbitrary.
It has lost a little shine, but as long as I just acknowledge that the books aren't written for me as an adult, it can sort of get away with it. The standards I have for children books, or teen books even, are a lot less high.
I have not yet read Tolkien, it seems like such a task and I haven't felt ready to start. Is it worth it in your opinion? I am of course reading Game of Thrones, though at this point it sort of not feels worth the wait anymore. The series has advanced beyond the books and I don't like the idea that there are now two different stories. I haven't read any of the other names you mentioned though, anything you recommend?
I'm currently reading Wheel of Time from Robert Jordan and so far I really like it. I like how the characters are so flawed c: I'm only three books in, so much more to go. But I really want to own the hardcovers and not the paperbacks, which unfortunately means the price goes up a lot. Paperback is somewhere around 10 euro, while hardcover goes for 30 or even 35 depending on the book.
I have read an interesting thing about Obscurial, which seems to stem from the movie, but other than that I don't know much about it. The trailer and everything does look interesting, but I'm a little afraid it's just a rip-off of Harry Potter. Like they're milking the franchise for more and more and more.
How are you liking the story then? I did hear it's a lot different to read, though most people say it's easier?
I know but there is so much to do, Will see what i will do tomorrow
It's quite a bit different then HP, I would say: Just watch it! (or wait a few months and watch it on tv or something else.. ;) )
And the story is a bit.. mwah... And it's very different to read, I wouldn't say easier.. Just very different haha

: I doubted for a bit about the 3 month subscription, but I went for another pet. I suddenly felt like checking and the name Jasmijn was available again.. and that was the name of one of my favourite cats from when I lived with my parents (She ended up dying at only 10 because of a desease :( ). I ended up making her a Nostalgic Jollin though, because I still love that one and had most of the items.

Good day everyone, Just went to work and i'm already at home again. Just did the thing i need to do to finished what i started yesterday and then i went to home again
Yeah, I know how you feel. Sometimes wigs have very specific colours, that is also the reason why there are so many of them (most with 10+ recolours). I have to admit that, when I see a new CW, I do not think if I can easily combine it with other items. Maybe I should pay more attention to that.
Havent read the Cursed Child because basically Rowling didnt even write it. Two other people wrote it and she just approved it. It doesnt really fit into the overal canon. From what I have heard it reads more like a fanfiction then an actual Potter story.
Tolkien is the best. There is nothing else like it. It is basically the birth of modern fantasy, he moulded the archetypes of characters that we see now as almost standard to the entire genre. It is the base on which all else was built, GoT included. Ah, Robert Jordan! My advise, do not read the books written after his death. They are significantly less in quality concerning storytelling.
Wow. Read anything from Neil Gaiman. As in now! ;) The best 200-pages story I think was written by him. "The Ocean at the end of the Lane". If you have more time read "American Gods". Or "Neverwhere". Brilliant. Just sheer brilliant! And ofcourse Tolkien. It is a must-read. But do not forget it was written in the 40-50's so the language comes across as old. Joe Abercrombie has a great trilogy if you like dark/gritty fantasy. Rothfuss' trilogy isnt finished yet, but the first book is so good. I couldnt help but read. There is so much great fantasy out there. And really, the best is found amongst the less famous writers. :)
Edit: phew, just finished gifting everyone. It was a bit more time consuming then expected, but still finished the week before Christmas. :)
Everybody here busy with questing? I love all the extra chances at old holiday items :)

Yepyep! And I like what it is doing to my bank account, I might even gift some more! :)
Good afternoon.
I'm going to do some quest in a little while. Worked this morning.
Hello! Is it possible to work with your wrist?
I can work. It hurts but i'm still going on with work. The most pain i have in the night. So i sleep very bad the last week.
Thats not good either, without sleep you will get sick as well.
I'm already sick. I never had seen this before. With us in the store i think everyone {all my colleagues} are ill. If you see us walk there it look very stupid i think. We all look like zombies haha.
It is like the Walking Dead then! Haha!
Something like that. It is really hard to get lost of this fly/bad cold
Especially when everyone is sick. Then you keep infecting eachother.
That is true, but i never seen this before. We have sometimes people that are ill, but now just everybody is ill.
That is very strange indeed. It must really be a nasty cold that is going around.
