Thanks for the compliment about my HA! I think she just does not realize the cost of baking vs buying. I've priced it out and it is usually cheaper to bake or cook most things fro scratch than to buy the same amount of whatever you make. The other bonus to home baked or cooked goods is that it tastes way better and is usually way healthier. shrug I just love to bake, so any chance I get I take! I like your galactic theme, it made me want a galactic wig so badly. Good thing is, I commissioned a matching wig and pump set in galactic from Cathii recently, so I'll have that hopefully soon.

It takes a lot of practice to be good at cooking or baking, I've made plenty of horrible disaster foods. lol I'm to the point now where I can bake just about anything and be successful on the first (maybe second, if it's really tricky) try. However, for cooking I am not quite as adept. I need tons more practice cooking dinners in order to be good. Do you enjoy cooking or is it a task you do only to make the food you need to eat?

Yes it does, I am still working on getting good at cooking. xD My husband and I usually work together to make dinner, since we are both good at different things. It's great that you have gotten so good at baking! It can be really tricky, I haven't tried much baking besides making the occasional cookies. xD I do enjoy cooking, it's fun, especially when the result tastes good, haha. Oh, well if you enjoy the process then I bet you'll become really great in no time! ^.^ The tricky part is if you dislike doing it, then it's less likely that you'll be awesome. lol

Right now I am really enjoying baking breads, all kinds. It would be easier for me to say what I dislike baking though. I dislike standing around spooning out cookies on a sheet. I much prefer cut out cookies, or non-tacky-type cookies. The reason for this if because I am allergic to poultry (including eggs), so it just means I have to wash my hands a bunch of times, which makes them really dry. It would be much better if I could just lick my fingers and wash the tips of them off without caring about getting every smidge of egg off.

What is your favorite or least favorite thing to cook right now?

I've noticed a lag time for CW approval as well, it makes me sad. I want to release another item but I cannot until this one clear the queue. I also have a release that I wanted to be on sit for my bday but it is never going to happen. The artist hasn't finished with it yet, so I think it'l just be belated. lol That is part of the reason I am wearing my grey today - I've just been having a rough week and wanted my HA to reflect it. it makes me happier to see my HA reflect my state of being sometimes.

Oh, nice! Fresh bread is the best. Cutout cookies are definitely more fun, I agree. You are allergic to poultry? I don't eat poultry, not because of an allergy, but just because I <3 birds. xD I can see how it would get frustrating and painful washing your hands all the time. I have mild OCD and a phobia of germs, so I know all about washing your hands until they get dry and cracked and painful. q.q Do you have to substitute something for the eggs when you bake for yourself?

I am not sure if I have a favorite thing, but I really enjoy making meals in the crock pot lately. It's great, because you can put all the ingredients in the pot in the morning, turn it on, go out, and it's ready when you get back. ;)

I have tried egg substitutes but they never bake or taste correct. I just do not eat baked goods if they contain eggs. I'm fine with it because it brings me joy to bake for others. It only makes me sad when I happen to be eating out and I really want to try something, only to find out it's got poultry in it. :/

Oh crock pot things are so much fun! ^.^ I love going to crock pot pot lucks, there are so many things people can make in crock pots - it's astounding what people can do in those things!

The first time I submitted a CW the denial list was really long as well. hugs I really hope it gets to go through, denials are really tough. I am sorry you struggle with dry cracked hands from OCD. I can understand OCD behaviors, they are so difficult because you can't really explain or control them. May I ask what you have found helpful in helping control your OCD? If you are not comfortable talking about it, I totally understand.

We celebrate our bday on May 20, my sister () and I share the same bday. I have no clue what we are going to do this year but hopefully it is something fun. ^.^

@ Ambition Aww, that's so sad that you can't eat a lot of the baked goods. =( My brother has Celiac disease, which means that he can't have gluten, so it is really hard to take him out to eat anywhere. Even if something does not contain gluten, it can be cross-contaminated and that will make him sick.

They are! There are really a lot of things you can make in a crock pot. I usually make roasts, chili, or soup in ours, but you can make almost anything.

Aww, I am sorry to hear that. hugs Thank you! Sometimes it is difficult for me not to take it personally, especially when I really spend a lot of time on a particular CW. Yeah, it gets worse more-so in the winter because the air is dryer, but if I get bad enough, my hands can crack in the warmer weather too. x.x Yeah, I hate my OCD behaviors. >.< The only thing that I really found that helps to control it is my medicine. I was diagnosed with it in college, and at the time I was getting daily panic attacks that stemmed from the OCD, it was awful.

Wow, even thinking that you could finish something that huge in 2-4 months is insanely fast, to me. I really wish you luck and hope you can do it all! Do you ever change things up on it? Like what if you had other colors to change the color of the owl eyes, or fro night time to sunset time or something like that. Or is changing it up way too difficult?

I dated a boy with celiac disease, so I know how challenging it can be and how sick it can make you if you aren't properly medicated. I hear you on the cross-contamination issue. Mot people have no idea what that is or they straight up lie to you. I've been hospitalized and extremely sick from cross contamination, lying, and accidental 'poisoning' from allergic reactions. I can feel for your brother on that issue (poor guy), most often it is far safer to just never eat out, which is what I do.

hugs I am sorry about the OCD panic attacks - that is the worst, especially in college when you want to be studying etc. I am glad you have found some medicine to help out with managing it. Were you able to finish college or did it interfere with your studies too much?

My sister and I were in fact womb mates!! ^.^ We are not identical though, in fact most people think that she is several years my senior. I have braces right now making me appear even younger than I already look. I have the blessing-curse of looking perpetually like a 16-18 year old. Most people never guess older than 17. I'm turning 30 this year and I still get people guessing that I am 16-18. If they have context (like knowing I have graduated HS or college) then they guess older but so far nobody has guessed older than 21, even with some context.

There have been a few times where people actually have asked my sister if she was my mom! LOL She does not look that much older but she has a woman-like body, with nice curves. I was [s]blessed/s to look like my dad's side of the family. My body is flat and totally not curvy anywhere, it's sad. I have almost no chest, which hurts my self esteem a lot, since boys always comment on it when dating. I figure the lack of breasts (I am a AA) and slight adult acne-issues is what cause people to think I'm really young. ??? lol I really have no idea though. long sigh Sorry that was probably TMI!?

I tried cross stitching a pattern once but was horrible at counting and staying precisely with the pattern. As it turns out, I am just bad at following distinct patterns like that and tend to want to do my own thing with that sort of thing. However, it does not work when trying to make things like animals, because they do need to have specific proportions! lol Alright, fine, I admit it - I have almost no patience for counting stitches or doing things like that! lol blush face I have tons of patience for painting tiny details, or doing other minute details, just not in the sewing world, i guess. So you are so much more amazing bows to your awesomeness BTW will you show me a pic of the completed project(s)?
