That is true. xD Sometimes if I am bored, I make a few days' worth of HAs ahead of time. I already have tomorrow's ready! They are, they match a lot of outfits. =)

Unfortunately nope - they were forecasting rain all day, then they said dry all day.... and we had heavy showers all afternoon :K Hopefully it'll dry up over the next few days and be more suitable for working on the allotment over the weekend ;)

I spotted a bird in the distance earlier - I took a few photos before it was chased off by the seagulls & crows :P But I dunno what it actually was....

It's not a Buzzard, nor a Sparrowhawk.... someone suggested maybe an Osprey (link to big(ish) drawing) but I've never heard of them being seen round here before o.O

Haha, that sounds like me sometimes. xD Thank you! :D I like wearing the owls with night sky-type backgrounds. It's a neat wig, congrats on the achievement! You did a great job making an HA that matched it. ;) Oh cool, it definitely looks like a bird of prey. Gulls and crows do tend to mob birds of prey like that. I can see it possibly being an osprey, those markings on the underside of the wings and around the neck do look like they match the osprey. Apparently the osprey also has a global range, with some spots on the range map showing up in the UK. :D I love osprey! My in-laws have a house near the ocean, and they built a platform for an osprey nest behind their house. I enjoy watching them when we go to visit. ;)

nods they tend to be more north than here, but there's been a few spotted about 40 miles away, so it's possible.... although someone else reckoned it was a pale Buzzard (which I'm not convinced about!). If it was an Osprey, it's the first one I've ever seen :D That sounds awesome! I can imagine you'd spend hours sitting and watching them :D

Wow, you might have had a rare osprey sighting for your area then, that's really cool! I wish I could give you other possibilities of what it may have been, but I am not as familiar with the birds that are common to your area. =( A few weeks ago, I was really excited because I saw a loon, which I had never seen in person before. I have heard them, but I hadn't actually seen one. They really only migrate through our area, so there isn't as much of an opportunity to see them. I was kicking myself though, because I had forgotten to bring my binoculars on our walk that day. xD Yeah, it's really neat, they get many different types of birds there. I actually saw a Mississippi kite when we visited last time, it was just sitting on their deck! They have wetlands in their back yard, so they get different types of birds than we do at home. I could sit there watching them all day, usually my husband has to pry me away so that we can do other things too. xD

that's always the way! I'm sure that those rarer / migratory birds know when you haven't got your binoculars or camera, and take that opportunity to fly past you! That sounds like a perfect place for a lot of bird watching :D laughs I think I'd be exactly the same in not wanting to move away from the back yard with all those birds! ;) Have they ever set up a trail camera to get some photos of the birds they get there?

I think you are right! Those birds like to tease us. xD It really is, they get so many neat birds! I don't think that they have set up a camera, but that definitely sounds like something my father-in-law would be into. He's a very talented photographer, and he always seems to have the latest camera. I will have to give him your suggestion. ;) Haha, that's me with our yard right now, too. I just put out the hummingbird feeders, and I have also been trying to attract crows and insect eaters to the yard with meal worms. Ooo, very pretty HA today! I really like what you have done with the new collection items, and all of the flowers! :D

We'd thought about putting a trail camera in our (small) back garden to see when the badger visits.... but I have a feeling that the local squirrels would try removing the camera or something, so we've never got further than just thinking about it laughs Thanks :D I couldn't resist those new items :D 😊 I love the turquoisey background with the glittery sparkly dress & accessories today :D

I gave up before, as I was finding it hard to keep my SL list up-to-date, but I've got a new system now - buy 20 items and tick them off the list, then feed them to him across two day ;) Ironically, the council think that the seagulls could be deterred from nesting by bringing in a company that fly some birds of prey.... even though the local birds of prey get scared off by the seagulls o.O :P Thanks :D I wasn't too sure if both sets of flowers would work, but they framed RP-Paddy surprisingly well :D Nah, she's just getting ready for the start of term Hogwarts feast :P

Aww, those dang squirrels. xD They cause trouble for us too, eating all of our bird seed and scaring off the birds, digging up the flower beds for sunflower seeds we've planted... I am not sure how to discourage them from coming into our yard, although they steer clear when the dog is out, haha. Hopefully you'll be able to set one up at some point!
