I was off on Saturday, but we didn't go because I was still very sore from working Thursday and Friday. Yesterday was a lot of fun though! Had a bday lunch with his dad and aunt, then we went to the Grapefest. I got to try 6 different wines from the Finger Lake Region in New York which were all good, though some more then others :) They didn't have all of the wines available because they ran out before we got there. Still a lot of fun :) There was live music and some actors performing throughout the day, vendors that sold some pretty neat items. I bought Emma a nice treat, that she pounced on as soon as I brought it out haha. Overall, it was a fun time!

I believe those are apple slices, Dear One, but you could always put turkey in them if you like. I love turkey~ I actually just finished eating something with turkey, green beans and sweet potatoes <3

Last night I came home from a shift at one of my jobs and my body was very sore--the lower back, thighs, waist and feet mostly. The hair stuff? Let's see....I bought something called a "hot head"--it is like a showercap, but made of terrycloth with flaxseed inside of it. After deep conditioning your hair, you heat it in the microwave for a few seconds (45 if you have a 1000 watt one) on both side about...2-4 times in total? Put an actual shower cap on and then put the hot head on top of that for a fabulous deep conditioning treatment for your hair <3 I watched and read a lot of reviews before deciding to finally buy it~ Other than that, I bought a perma rod set, and flexi-rod set, the As I am co wash and As I am double butter moisturizer. Let's just say having natural hair can be a.....challenge, at times ^_^; Plus, last night I was soooo tired from work I was too lazy to put the permarods in my hair. I just sprayed it with water and put argan oil in it.

I have one~ I actually decided to replace the battery and revive it at last (I have the old zip one ^_^) I may have to download the app on my phone, because I don't recall it telling me when I sync it to my lapytopy about how many calories I ought to take, which sounds fabulous.

I wish you luck with the sports bras--I have one that fits me, and one that I bought that is too small. The one that fits is an XL, but even when all the bras says that size, it doesn't necessarily fit me, so I'll go for a 1x or whatever for my next one. A lot of the bras they show in stores are ridiculously padded, but it is possible to find a great one~

Pinterest has the "like/hearts" that we used to be able to click on when we saw a pin we liked in it's own secret board toward the bottom of our page. No one can see it, but us, so I'm in the process of putting the pins into the board they belong too. Also, don't know when, we will be able to create sections inside of our boards to make it easier to organize.

The interview went well, they have tomorrow to finish up and then they will call people for 2nd interviews. I hope I am one of them because this job seems like something that I'd be good at :) Fingers crossed!

Were you able to get any of the Delish items? I got a lot of the older items and a few of the newer ones before they retired them again. Gotta to make an outfit out of them soon :)

I'm very busy with working on art prints as well as cosplay for my next convention that's the weekend before Halloween, where I will be selling art prints in the Artist Alley this year! It's my first time so I'm nervous as hell but excited too! Soooo that's what I've been up to, what about you guys? Excited for fall?

Thank you though there's no reason to be sorry, I had been trying to break away from this person for a while prior to the final combustion of it all. I was tired of their emotional abuse. They didn't want me to hang out with anyone else, including my own husband. Stalking my every move through facebook check-ins among other things. She didn't like that I was backing off and was on to everything nor did she like the fact I wasn't letting her have her way over my individual sovereignty. I'm not keen on someone gaslighting me. I hope she gets the help she needs but that's the last of the positivity I can or will freely give seeing as she conveniently allowed another person cyber bully via a text message. Keep in mind they are both grown adults (32 years old). I didn't report it but I did block both of them and the phone number. Unfortunately, my anxiety go the better of me as did my stress for a few days there after because the other individual has been known to be aggressive in nature (stalk, attack physically, damage property, etc.). I didn't leave the house for almost 3 days. Anyway, I've since started to move forward but I still find myself thinking about it and how shitty it went down and despite my best efforts there was never going to be an easy way to escape this individual, even if I had managed to tame the beast.

Oh interesting, I've never heard of anything called hot head before. Hm. I've heard of the treatments where you get your hair wet with hot water (reasonably hot anyway, not scalding), slather on some magical cream to help with dryness, dullness, etc. and then add a damp heated towel for like 10 or so minutes. Sounds like the same concept though. Hope it works out the way you want it to!

Ooooh and as for books, I have two on the way. One is an inspirational book and the other is an adult book of some sort with presents to keep me intrigued as I read. They're both from a monthly subscription box, neither of which I've tried before so I'm rooting all goes well! :D

Hollywood, specifically but CA in general breaking onto a prrofessional scene is more about who you know rather than what you know. I'm the tiniest bit biased but I think she can if talent was the big factor, but in Ca its who you drink with, who's parties you go to. She's got a BA in sign language and I'd love to see her be a translator, the money is very nice, very, very nice but she's happy where she is

Emma got a nice bone that's as natural as possible. She only gets to have it when we are at home to watch her. I'll let ya know how this coming up weekend goes when it comes to the girls helping out more, for now I'm recovering from the festival :) The interview went well in my opinion and they have one more day of interviews, then they'll start calling people for a 2nd one. Fingers crossed I get a second one because this job sounds like something I can do.

I'm not entirely surprised by the nature of how things run in Hollywood. Seems that the general population tries to run the same way. Very cliquey. Not that it's a bad thing to mix and mingle and know people who may be beneficial to moving up the latter but I just have an issue overall with the world thinking that is how everything works, then stepping on people to get wherever they want.

Anyway, aside from that random little bit...

As long as your friend is content with where she is, good for her. At least she has you rooting for her betterment even if she likes where she's at in life. :)

Good call on the bone being monitored by Mom and Dad. Sometimes they get too excited and the gone can splinter causing the dog to either choke or get a splinter on the inside of their mouth. A few years ago I had the weirdest dog (Aussie Shepherd), buy him a bone og give him a beef bone from a potroast, he'd lick off the stock from braising, eat the meat and left the bone Weirdo. lol
