It's not that I'm trying to be naughty, it's that too many layers are difficult to peal off when there's a body of water to dive into. One cannot swim in a lake, stream, pond, or public fountain in one's clothes, it is much too restrictive....

Of course, I really don't have very much sense of style and perhaps I'm just rationalizing my clothing choices instead of taking some classes on how to assemble a proper outfit. My friend Moon says that I am no clothes horse, more of a clothes mud-puppy.

I ate a lot of honey-nut chewies in those days...and I got beat up a lot too...early literary criticism was more brutal then it is these days. I've done a lot of my story development right here on Subeta in the role-playing adventures such as Wayward Squirrel. While I may not incorporate storylines from these RPs into my stories, the experiences my characters go through in the RPs helps them grow in my own writing. , oooo, I grew up near/on the water myself. being "landlocked" makes me unhappy. I miss the east coast (where i grew up) even though, i admit that "now a days" i would just want to sit on a boardwalk and watch the people go by, as I drank my drinks and felt the breeze and smell the ocean.

heh. i can't wait till the man goes back to work, monday, i've got some great "breakfast" stuff to eat, but when he "goes out of his way to cook" then i feel like i have to eat his food. heh. not like he does to me.

i'm so glad that camp is over. and the quest-a-thon is over (or almost) because i've actually got some left over potatoes, and i want to try to make some gnocchi's. i don't think i have any plain flour (he didn't bring me any, even though i had it on the list) but i'm going to try it any way. at least get a 'feel' for it.
